بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send your blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad

اَللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ صِيَامِيْ فِيْهِ بِالشُّكْرِ وَالْقُبُولِ عَلَى مَا تَرْضَاهُ وَيَرْضَاهُ الرَّسُولُ
allāhummaj`al ṣiyāmī fīhi bishhukri walqubūli `alā mā tar-ḍāhu wayar-ḍāhur rasūl
O Allah, make my fasting in this day with thankfulness and acceptance according to what pleases You and pleases the Messenger

مُحْكَمَةً فُرُوعُهُ بِالْاُصُولِ
muḥkamatan furū`uhu bil uṣūl
With its branches firmly established upon its roots

بِحَقِّ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ
biḥaqqi sayyidinā muḥammadin wa ālihiṭ ṭāhirīn
By the right of our master Muhammad and his pure family
4
وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ العَالَمِيْنَ
walḥamdu lillāhi rabbil `ālamīn
And all praise is for Allah, the Lord of the worlds
