بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad

اَللَّهُمَّ زَيِّنِيْ فِيْهِ بِالسِّتْرِ وَالْعَفَافِ
allāhumma zayyinī fīhi bissitri wal`afāf
O Allah, adorn me during it [Ramadan] with modesty and chastity
2
وَاسْتُرْنِيْ فِيْهِ بِلِبَاسِ الْقُنُوعِ وَالْكَفَافِ
wastur-nī fīhi bilibāsil qunū`i walkafāf
And cover me during it with the garment of contentment and sufficiency
3
وَاحْمِلْنِيْ فِيْهِ عَلَى الْعَدْلِ وَالْاِنْصَافِ
waḥmilnī fīhi `alal `adli wal-inṣāf
And guide me during it to justice and fairness
4
وَ آمِنِّيْ فِيْهِ مِنْ كُلِّ مَا أَخَافُ
wa āminnī fīhi min kulli mā akhāf
And protect me during it from all that I fear
5
بِعِصْمَتِكَ يَا عِصْمَةَ الْخَائِفِينَ
bi`iṣmatika yā `iṣmatal khā-ifīn
By Your protection, O Protector of the fearful
