بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send your blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad

اَللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِيْ فِيْهِ الذِّهْنَ وَالتَّنْبِيهَ
allāhummar-zuqnī fīhidh dhihna wat tanbīh
O Allah, grant me in it (this day/month) alertness and awareness

وَبَاعِدْنِيْ فِيْهِ مِنَ السَّفَاهَةِ وَالتَّمْوِيهِ
wabā`idnī fīhi minas safāhati wat tamwīh
And distance me in it from foolishness and deception

وَاجْعَلْ لِيْ نَصِيْبًا مِنْ كُلِّ خَيْرٍ تُنْزِلُ فِيْهِ
waj`al lī naṣīban min kulli khayrin tunzilu fīh
And grant me a portion of every good that You send down in it
4
بِجُودِكَ يَا أَجْوَدَ الْاَجْوَدِيْنَ
bijūdika yā ajwadal ajwadīn
By Your generosity, O Most Generous of the generous ones
