بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad

اَللَّهُمَّ قَرِّبْنِيْ فِيْهِ إِلَى مَرْضَاتِكَ
allāhumma qarribnī fīhi ilā mar-ḍātik
O Allah, draw me closer in it [this month] to Your pleasure
2
وَجَنِّبْنِيْ فِيْهِ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ وَنَقِمَاتِكَ
wajannibnī fīhi min sakhaṭika wanaqimātik
And keep me away in it from Your anger and Your punishment
3
وَوَفِّقْنِيْ فِيْهِ لِقِرَاءَةِ آيَاتِكَ
wawaffiqnī fīhi liqirā-ati-āyātik
And grant me success in it to recite Your verses
4
بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَاأَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
biraḥmatika yā-ar-ḥamar rāḥimīn
By Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful ones
