بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
رَبِّيْ وَرَبُّكَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
rabbī warabbukallāhu rabbul `ālamīn
My Lord and your Lord is Allah, the Lord of the worlds
2
اَللَّهُمَّ أَهِلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْاَمْنِ وَالْإِيْمَانِ
allāhumma ahillahu `alaynā bil amni wal-īmān
O Allah, make this month begin for us with security and faith
3
وَالسَّلاَمَةِ وَالْإِسْلاَمِ
was salāmati wal-islām
And safety and submission (to You)
4
وَالْمُسَارَعَةِ إِلَى مَا تُحِبُّ وَتَرْضَى
walmusāra`ati ilā mā tuḥibbu watar-ḍā
And haste towards what You love and are pleased with
5
اَللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيْ شَهْرِنَا هٰذَا
allāhumma bārik lanā fī shahrinā hādhā
O Allah, bless us in this month of ours
6
وَارْزُقْنَا خَيْرَهُ وَعَوْنَهُ
war-zuqnā khayrahu wa`awnah
And grant us its goodness and help
7
وَاصْرِفْ عَنَّا ضُرَّهُ وَشَرَّهُ وَبَلاءَهُ وَفِتْنَتَهُ
waṣrif `annā ḍurrahu washarrahu wabalā-ahu wafitnatah
And turn away from us its harm, evil, affliction, and trial
