بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَللَّهُمَّ بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِيْ الصَّالِحِيْنَ فَأَدْخِلْنَا
allāhumma biraḥmatika fiṣ ṣāliḥīna fa-adkhilnā
O Allah, by Your mercy, place us among the righteous
2
وَفِيْ عِلِّيِّينَ فَارْفَعْنَا
wafī `illiyyīna far-fa`nā
And raise us to the highest levels (Illiyyin)
3
وَبِكَأْسٍ مِنْ مَعِينٍ
wabika-sin min ma`īn
And with a cup from a flowing spring
4
مِنْ عَيْنٍ سَلْسَبِيلٍ فَاسْقِنَا
min `aynin salsabīlin fasqinā
From the spring of Salsabil, give us to drink
5
وَمِنَ الْحُورِ الْعِينِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ فَزَوِّجْنَا
waminal ḥūril `īni biraḥmatika fazawwijnā
And by Your mercy, marry us to the fair-eyed Houris
6
وَمِنَ الْوِلْدَانِ الْمُخَلَّدِيْنَ
waminal wildānil mukhalladīn
And from the eternally young attendants
7
كَأَنَّهُمْ لُؤْلُؤٌ مَكْنُونٌ فَأَخْدِمْنَا
ka-annahum lu-lu-un maknūnun fa-akhdimnā
Who are like hidden pearls, provide us with their service
8
وَمِنْ ثِمَارِ الْجَنَّةِ وَلُحُومِ الطَّيْرِ فَأَطْعِمْنَا
wamin thimāril jannati waluḥūmiṭ ṭayri fa-aṭ`imnā
And from the fruits of Paradise and the meat of birds, feed us
9
وَمِنْ ثِيَابِ السُّنْدُسِ وَالْحَرِيرِ وَالْاِسْتَبْرَقِ فَأَلْبِسْنَا
wamin thiyābis sundusi walḥarīri wal-istabraqi fa-albisnā
And with garments of fine silk, silk brocade, and thick silk, clothe us
10
وَلَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ
walaylatal qadr
And the Night of Power (Laylatul Qadr)
11
وَحَجَّ بَيْتِكَ الْحَرَامِ
waḥajja baytikal ḥarām
And pilgrimage to Your Sacred House
12
وَقَتْلًا فِيْ سَبِيلِكَ فَوَفِّقْ لَنَا
waqatlan fī sabīlika fawaffiq lanā
And martyrdom in Your path, grant us success in these
13
وَصَالِحَ الدُّعَاءِ وَالْمَسْأَلَةِ فَاسْتَجِبْ لَنَا
waṣāliḥad du`ā-i walmas-alati fastajib lanā
And righteous supplications and requests, answer them for us
14
وَإِذَا جَمَعْتَ الْاَوَّلِينَ وَالْاٰخِرِينَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَارْحَمْنَا
wa-idhā jama`tal awwalīna wal-ākhirīna yawmal qiyāmati far-ḥamnā
And when You gather the first and the last on the Day of Resurrection, have mercy on us
15
وَبَرَاءَةً مِنَ النَّارِ فَاكْتُبْ لَنَا
wabarā-atan minan nāri faktub lanā
And freedom from the Fire, write it for us
16
وَفِيْ جَهَنَّمَ فَلَا تَغُلَّنَا
wafī jahannama falā taghullanā
And in Hell, do not bind us
17
وَفِيْ عَذَابِكَ وَهَوَانِكَ فَلَا تَبْتَلِنَا
wafī `adhābika wahawānika falā tabtalinā
And with Your punishment and humiliation, do not afflict us
18
وَمِنَ الزَّقُّومِ وَالضَّرِيعِ فَلَا تُطْعِمْنَا
waminaz zuqqūmi waḍ ḍarī`i falā tuṭ`imnā
And from Zaqqum and Dari' (bitter food of Hell), do not feed us
19
وَمَعَ الشَّيَاطِينِ فَلَا تَجْعَلْنَا
wama`ash shayāṭīni falā taj`alnā
And with the devils, do not place us
20
وَفِيْ النَّارِ عَلَى وُجُوهِنَا فَلَا تَكْبُبْنَا
wafin nāri `alā wujūhinā falā takbubnā
And in the Fire upon our faces, do not fling us
21
وَمِنْ ثِيَابِ النَّارِ وَسَرَابِيلِ الْقَطِرَانِ فَلَا تُلْبِسْنَا
wamin thiyābin nāri wasarābīlil qaṭirāni falā tulbisnā
And with the garments of Fire and shirts of pitch, do not clothe us
22
وَمِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ يَا لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
wamin kulli sū-in yā lā ilāha illā ant
And from all evil, O there is no god but You
23
بِحَقِّ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ فَنَجِّنَا
biḥaqqi lā ilāha illā anta fanajjinā
By the truth that there is no god but You, save us
