اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ يَا اَللَّهُ
allāhumma innī as-aluka yā allāh
O Allah, I ask You, O Allah
2
اَلدَّائِمُ فِيْ مُلْكِهِ
ad dā-imu fī mulkih
The Eternal in His kingdom
3
اَلْقَائِمُ فِيْ عِزِّهِ
al qā-imu fī `izzih
The Established in His might
4
اَلْمُطَاعُ فِيْ سُلْطَانِهِ
al muṭā`u fī sulṭānih
The Obeyed in His authority
5
اَلْمُتَفَرِّدُ فِيْ كِبْرِيَائِهِ
al mutafarridu fī kibriyā-ih
The Unique in His grandeur
6
اَلْمُتَوَحِّدُ فِيْ دَيْمُوْمَةِ بَقَائِهِ
al mutawaḥḥidu fī daymūmati baqā-ih
The Singular in His eternal existence
7
اَلْعَادِلُ فِيْ بَرِيَّتِهِ
al `ādilu fī bariyyatih
The Just in His creation
8
اَلْعَالِمُ فِيْ قَضِيَّتِهِ
al `ālimu fī qaḍiyyatih
The All-Knowing in His judgment
9
اَلْكَرِيْمُ فِيْ تَأْخِيْرِ عُقُوْبَتِهِ
al karīmu fī ta-khīri `uqūbatih
The Generous in delaying His punishment
10
إِلٰهِيْ حَاجَاتِيْ مَصْرُوْفَةٌ إِلَيْكَ
ilāhī ḥājātī maṣrūfatun ilayk
My God, my needs are directed to You
11
وَآمَالِيْ مَوْقُوْفَةٌ لَدَيْكَ
wa-āmālī mawqūfatun ladayk
And my hopes are dependent upon You
12
وَكُلَّ مَا وَفَّقْتَنِيْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ
wakulla mā waffaqtanī min khayr
And all the good that You have granted me
13
فَأَنْتَ دَلِيْلِيْ عَلَيْهِ وَطَرِيْقِيْ إِلَيْهِ
fa-anta dalīlī `alayhi waṭarīqī ilayh
You are my guide to it and my path towards it
14
يَا قَدِيْرًا لَا تَؤُوْدُهُ الْمَطَالِبُ
yā qadīran lā ta-ūduhul maṭālib
O Powerful One, whom requests do not burden
15
يَا مَلِيًّا يَلْجَأُ إِلَيْهِ كُلُّ رَاغِبٍ
yā maliyyan yalja-u ilayhi kullu rāghib
O Affluent One, to whom every seeker turns
16
مَا زِلْتُ مَصْحُوْبًا مِنْكَ بِالنِّعَمِ
mā ziltu maṣ-ḥūban minka binni`am
I have always been accompanied by Your blessings
17
جَارِيًا عَلَى عَادَاتِ الْإِحْسَانِ وَالْكَرَمِ
jāriyan `alā `ādātil iḥsāni walkaram
Flowing according to the habits of kindness and generosity
18
أَسْأَلُكَ بِالْقُدْرَةِ النَّافِذَةِ فِيْ جَمِيْعِ الْأَشْيَاءِ
as-aluka bil qudratin nāfidhati fī jamī`il ashyā
I ask You by Your power that penetrates all things
19
وَقَضَائِكَ الْمُبْرَمِ الَّذِيْ تَحْجُبُهُ بِأَيْسَرِ الدُّعَاءِ
waqaḍā-ikal mubramil ladhī taḥjubuhu bi-aysarid du`ā
And by Your decree which You may veil with the simplest supplication
20
وَبِالنَّظْرَةِ الَّتِيْ نَظَرْتَ بِهَا إِلَى الْجِبَالِ فَتَشَامَخَتْ
wabinnaẓratil latī naẓar-ta bihā ilal jibāli fatashāmakhat
And by the glance with which You looked at the mountains, so they stood tall
21
وَإِلَى الْأَرَضِيْنَ فَتَسَطَّحَتْ
wa-ilal araḍīna fatasaṭṭaḥat
And at the earth, so it spread flat
22
وَإِلَى السَّمَاوَاتِ فَارْتَفَعْتْ
wa-ilas samāwāti far-tafa`t
And at the heavens, so they rose high
23
وَإِلَى الْبِحَارِ فَتَفَجَّرَتْ
wa-ilal biḥāri fatafajjarat
And at the seas, so they burst forth
24
يَا مَنْ جَلَّ عَنْ أَدَوَاتِ لَحَظَاتِ الْبَشَرِ
yā man jalla `an adawāti laḥaẓātil bashar
O You who are too exalted for the perceptive faculties of humans
25
وَلَطُفَ عَنْ دَقَائِقِ خَطَرَاتِ الْفِكَرِ
walaṭufa `an daqā-iqi khaṭarātil fikar
And too subtle for the minutest thoughts of minds
26
لَا تُحْمَدُ يَا سَيِّدِيْ إِلَّا بِتَوْفِيْقٍ مِنْكَ يَقْتَضِيْ حَمْدًا
lā tuḥmadu yā sayyidī illā bitawfīqin minka yaqtaḍī ḥamdā
You are not praised, my Master, except through Your guidance that necessitates praise
27
وَلَا تُشْكَرُ عَلَى أَصْغَرِ مِنَّةٍ إِلَّا اَسْتَوْجَبْتَ بِهَا شُكْرًا
walā tushkaru `alā aṣghari minnatin illā astawjabta bihā shukrā
Nor are You thanked for the smallest favor except that it obligates more gratitude
28
فَمَتَى تُحْصَى نَعْمَاؤُكَ يَا إِلٰهِيْ
famatā tuḥṣā na`ma-uka yā ilāhī
So when can Your blessings be counted, O my God?
29
وَتُجَازَى آلَاؤُكَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
watujāzā-āla-uka yā mawlāy
And when can Your gifts be repaid, O my Master?
30
وَتُكَافَأُ صَنَائِعُكَ يَا سَيِّدِيْ
watukāfa-u ṣanā-i`uka yā sayyidī
And when can Your favors be reciprocated, O my Lord?
31
وَمِنْ نِعَمِكَ يَحْمَدُ الْحَامِدُوْنَ
wamin ni`amika yaḥmadul ḥāmidūn
From Your blessings do those who praise obtain their ability to praise
32
وَمِنْ شُكْرِكَ يَشْكُرُ الشَّاكِرُوْنَ
wamin shukrika yashkurush shākirūn
And from Your gratitude do those who thank derive their ability to thank
33
وَأَنْتَ الْمُعْتَمَدُ لِلْذُّنُوْبِ فِيْ عَفْوِكَ
wa-antal mu`tamadu lidhhunūbi fī `afwik
You are the refuge for sins through Your pardon
34
وَالنَّاشِرُ عَلَى الْخَاطِئِيْنَ جَنَاحَ سِتْرِكَ
wan nāshiru `alal khāṭi-īna janāḥa sitrik
And the One who spreads over the sinners the wing of Your covering
35
وَأَنْتَ الْكَاشِفُ لِلْضُّرِّ بِيَدِكَ
wa-antal kāshifu liḍḍurri biyadik
And You are the Remover of harm by Your hand
36
فَكَمْ مِنْ سَيِّئَةٍ أَخْفَاهَا حِلْمُكَ حَتَّى دَخِلَتْ
fakam min sayyi-atin akhfāhā ḥilmuka ḥattā dakhilat
How many a misdeed has Your forbearance concealed until it was hidden?
37
وَحَسَنَةٍ ضَاعَفَهَا فَضْلُكَ حَتَّى عَظُمَتْ عَلَيْهَا مُجَازَاتُكَ
waḥasanatin ḍā`afahā faḍluka ḥattā `aẓumat `alayhā mujāzātuk
And how many a good deed has Your grace multiplied until Your reward for it became great?
38
جَلَلْتَ أَنْ يُخَافَ مِنْكَ إِلَّا الْعَدْلُ
jalalta an yukhāfa minka illal `adl
You are too exalted for anyone to fear from You except justice
39
وَأَنْ يُرْجَى مِنْكَ إِلَّا الْإِحْسَانُ وَالْفَضْلُ
wa-an yur-jā minka illal iḥsānu walfaḍl
And for anyone to hope from You except kindness and favor
40
فَامْنُنْ عَلَيَّ بِمَا أَوْجَبَهُ فَضْلُكَ
famnun `alayya bimā awjabahu faḍluk
So bestow upon me what Your grace has made necessary
41
وَلَا تَخْذُلْنِيْ بِمَا يَحْكُمُ بِهِ عَدْلُكَ
walā takhdhulnī bimā yaḥkumu bihi `adluk
And do not forsake me to what Your justice might decree
42
سَيِّدِيْ لَوْ عَلِمَتِ الْأَرْضُ بِذُنُوْبِيْ لَسَاخَتْ بِيْ
sayyidī law `alimatil ar-ḍu bidhunūbī lasākhat bī
My Master, if the earth knew of my sins, it would swallow me
43
أَوِ الْجِبَالُ لَهَدَّتْنِيْ
awil jibālu lahaddatnī
Or if the mountains knew, they would crush me
44
أَوِ السَّمَاوَاتُ لْأَخْتَطَفَتْنِيْ
awis samāwātul-akhtaṭafatnī
Or if the heavens knew, they would seize me
45
أَوِ الْبِحَارُ لْأَغْرَقَتْنِيْ
awil biḥārul-aghraqatnī
Or if the seas knew, they would drown me
46
سَيِّدِيْ سَيِّدِيْ سَيِّدِيْ
sayyidī sayyidī sayyidī
My Master, my Master, my Master
47
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya mawlāya mawlāy
My Lord, my Lord, my Lord
48
قَدْ تَكَرَّرَ وُقُوْفِيْ لِضِيَافَتِكَ
qad takarrara wuqūfī liḍiyāfatik
I have repeatedly stood at Your threshold for Your hospitality
49
فَلَا تَحْرِمْنِيْ مَا وَعَدْتَ الْمُتَعَرِّضِيْنَ لِمَسْأَلَتِكَ
falā taḥrimnī mā wa`adtal muta`arriḍīna limas-alatik
So do not deprive me of what You have promised those who present themselves for Your asking
50
يَا مَعْرُوْفَ الْعَارِفِيْنَ
yā ma`rūfal `ārifīn
O You who are recognized by those who know
51
يَا مَعْبُوْدَ الْعَابِدِيْنَ
yā ma`būdal `ābidīn
O You who are worshipped by the worshippers
52
يَا مَشْكُوْرَ الشَّاكِرِيْنَ
yā mashkūrash shākirīn
O You who are thanked by the thankful
53
يَا جَلِيْسَ الذَّاكِرِيْنَ
yā jalīsadh dhākirīn
O You who sits with those who remember
54
يَا مَحْمُوْدَ مَنْ حَمِدَهُ
yā maḥmūda man ḥamidah
O You who is praised by those who praise Him
55
يَا مَوْجُوْدَ مَنْ طَلَبَهُ
yā mawjūda man ṭalabah
O You who is found by those who seek Him
56
يَا مَوْصُوْفَ مَنْ وَحَّدَهُ
yā mawṣūfa man waḥḥadah
O You who is described by those who declare His oneness
57
يَا مَحْبُوْبَ مَنْ أَحَبَّهُ
yā maḥbūba man aḥabbah
O You who is loved by those who love Him
58
يَا غَوْثَ مَنْ أَرَادَهُ
yā ghawtha man arādah
O You who is the aid of those who seek Him
59
يَا مَقْصُوْدَ مَنْ أَنَابَ إِلَيْهِ
yā maqṣūda man anāba ilayh
O You who is the aim of those who turn to Him
60
يَا مَنْ لَا يَعْلَمُ الْغَيْبَ إِلَّا هُوَ
yā man lā ya`lamul ghayba illā huw
O You who none knows the unseen except Him
61
يَا مَنْ لَا يَصْرِفُ السُّوْءَ إِلَّا هُوَ
yā man lā yaṣrifus sū-a illā huw
O You who none averts evil except Him
62
يَا مَنْ لَا يُدَبِّرُ الْأَمْرَ إِلَّا هُوَ
yā man lā yudabbirul amra illā huw
O You who none manages affairs except Him
63
يَا مَنْ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذَّنْبَ إِلَّا هُوَ
yā man lā yaghfirudh dhanba illā huw
O You who none forgives sins except Him
64
يَا مَنْ لَا يَخْلُقُ الْخَلْقَ إِلَّا هُوَ
yā man lā yakhluqul khalqa illā huw
O You who none creates creation except Him
65
يَا مَنْ لَا يُنَزِّلُ الْغَيْثَ إِلَّا هُوَ
yā man lā yunazzilul ghaytha illā huw
O You who none sends down rain except Him
66
صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa-āli muḥammad
Send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
67
وَاغْفِرْ لِيْ يَا خَيْرَ الْغَافِرِيْنَ
waghfir lī yā khayral ghāfirīn
And forgive me, O Best of forgivers
68
رَبِّ إِنِّيْ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ اسْتِغْفَارَ حَيَاءٍ
rabbi innī astaghfirukastighfāra ḥaya
My Lord, I seek Your forgiveness with the seeking of one who is shy
69
وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ اسْتِغْفَارَ رَجَاءٍ
wa-astaghfirukastighfāra raja
And I seek Your forgiveness with the seeking of one who hopes
70
وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ اسْتِغْفَارَ إِنَابَةٍ
wa-astaghfirukastighfāra inābah
And I seek Your forgiveness with the seeking of one who turns in repentance
71
وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ اسْتِغْفَارَ رَغْبَةٍ
wa-astaghfirukastighfāra raghbah
And I seek Your forgiveness with the seeking of one who desires
72
وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ اسْتِغْفَارَ رَهْبَةٍ
wa-astaghfirukastighfāra rahbah
And I seek Your forgiveness with the seeking of one who fears
73
وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ اسْتِغْفَارَ طَاعَةٍ
wa-astaghfirukastighfāra ṭā`ah
And I seek Your forgiveness with the seeking of one who obeys
74
وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ اسْتِغْفَارَ إِيـمَانٍ
wa-astaghfirukastighfāra īmān
And I seek Your forgiveness with the seeking of one who has faith
75
وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ اسْتِغْفَارَ إِقْرَارٍ
wa-astaghfirukastighfāra iqrār
And I seek Your forgiveness with the seeking of one who acknowledges
76
وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ اسْتِغْفَارَ إِخْلَاصٍ
wa-astaghfirukastighfāra ikhlāṣ
And I seek Your forgiveness with the seeking of one who is sincere
77
وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ اسْتِغْفَارَ تَقْوَى
wa-astaghfirukastighfāra taqwā
And I seek Your forgiveness with the seeking of one who is God-conscious
78
وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ اسْتِغْفَارَ تَوَكُّلٍ
wa-astaghfirukastighfāra tawakkul
And I seek Your forgiveness with the seeking of one who trusts
79
وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ اسْتِغْفَارَ ذِلَّةٍ
wa-astaghfirukastighfāra dhillah
And I seek Your forgiveness with the seeking of one who is humble
80
وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ اسْتِغْفَارَ عَامِلٍ لَكَ
wa-astaghfirukastighfāra `āmilin lak
And I seek Your forgiveness with the seeking of one who works for You
81
هَارِبٍ مِنْكَ إِلَيْكَ
hāribin minka ilayk
Fleeing from You to You
82
فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
faṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa-āli muḥammad
So send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
83
وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَى وَالِدَيَّ
watub `alayya wa`alā wālidayy
And accept my repentance and that of my parents
84
بِمَا تُبْتَ وَتَتُوْبُ عَلَى جَمِيْعِ خَلْقِكَ
bimā tubta watatūbu `alā jamī`i khalqik
As You have accepted and will accept from all Your creation
85
يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
yā ar-ḥamar rāḥimīn
O Most Merciful of the merciful
86
يَا مَنْ يُسَمَّى بِالْغَفُوْرِ الرَّحِيْمِ
yā man yusammā bil ghafūrir raḥīm
O You who is named the All-Forgiving, the Most Merciful
87
يَا مَنْ يُسَمَّى بِالْغَفُوْرِ الرَّحِيْمِ
yā man yusammā bil ghafūrir raḥīm
O You who is named the All-Forgiving, the Most Merciful
88
يَا مَنْ يُسَمَّى بِالْغَفُوْرِ الرَّحِيْمِ
yā man yusammā bil ghafūrir raḥīm
O You who is named the All-Forgiving, the Most Merciful
89
صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa-āli muḥammad
Send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
90
وَاقْبَلْ تَوْبَتِيْ
waqbal tawbatī
And accept my repentance
91
وَزَكِّ عَمَلِيْ
wazakki `amalī
And purify my deeds
92
وَاشُكْرَ سَعْيِيْ
wāshukra sa`yī
And appreciate my effort
93
وَارْحَمْ ضَرَاعَتِيْ
war-ḥam ḍarā`atī
And have mercy on my supplication
94
وَلَا تَحْجُبْ صَوْتِيْ
walā taḥjub ṣawtī
And do not veil my voice
95
وَلَا تُخَيِّبْ مَسْأَلَتِيْ
walā tukhayyib mas-alatī
And do not disappoint my request
96
يَا غَوْثَ الْمُسْتَغِيْثِيْنَ
yā ghawthal mustaghīthīn
O Relief of those who seek relief
97
وَأَبْلِغْ أَئِمَّتِيْ سَلَامِيْ وَدُعَائِيْ
wa-abligh a-immatī salāmī wadu`ā-ī
And convey my greetings and supplication to my Imams
98
وَشَفِّعْهُمْ فِيْ جَمِيْعِ مَا سَأَلْتُكَ
washaffi`hum fī jamī`i mā sa-altuk
And make them intercessors in all that I have asked You
99
وَأَوْصِلْ هَدِيَّتِيْ إِلَيْهِمْ كَمَا يَنْبَغِيْ لَهُمْ
wa-awṣil hadiyyatī ilayhim kamā yanbaghī lahum
And deliver my gift to them as befits them
100
وَزِدْهُمْ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ مَا يَنْبَغِيْ لَكَ
wazid-hum min dhālika mā yanbaghī lak
And increase that for them as befits You
101
بِأَضْعَافٍ لَا يُحْصِيْهَا غَيْرُكَ
bi-aḍ`āfin lā yuḥṣīhā ghayruk
Multiplied by amounts that none can count except You
102
وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيْمِ
walā ḥawla walā quwwata illā billāhil `aliyyil `aẓīm
And there is no power and no strength except with Allah, the High, the Great
103
وَصَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى أَطْيَبِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ
waṣallallāhu `alā aṭyabil mur-salīn
And may Allah bless the purest of messengers
104
مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِيْنَ
muḥammadin wa-ālihiṭ ṭāhirīn
Muhammad and his pure family
