أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ
ash-hadu an lā ilāha illallāh
I bear witness that there is no god but Allah
2
وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ
waḥdahu lā sharīka lah
Alone without any partner
3
وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُوْلُهُ
wa-ash-hadu anna muḥammadan `abduhu warasūluh
And I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger
4
وَأَنَّهُ سَيِّدُ الْأَوَّلِيْنَ وَالْأٓخِرِيْنَ
wa-annahu sayyidul awwalīna wal-ākhirīn
And that he is the master of the first and the last
5
وَأَنَّهُ سَيِّدُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَالْمُرْسَلِيْنَ
wa-annahu sayyidul anbiyā-i walmur-salīn
And that he is the master of the Prophets and Messengers
6
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad
7
عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُوْلِكَ وَنَبِيِّكَ
`abdika warasūlika wanabiyyik
Your servant, Your messenger, and Your prophet
8
وَسَيِّدِ خَلْقِكَ أَجْمَعِيْنَ
wasayyidi khalqika ajma`īn
And the master of all Your creation
9
صَلَاةً لَا يَقْوَى عَلَى إِحْصَائِهَا غَيْرُكَ
ṣalātan lā yaqwā `alā iḥṣā-ihā ghayruk
Blessings that none can enumerate except You
10
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى أَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā amīril mu-minīn
O Allah, send blessings upon the Commander of the Faithful
11
عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِيْ طَالِبٍ
`aliyyibni abī ṭālib
Ali ibn Abi Talib
12
عَبْدِكَ وَأَخِيْ رَسُوْلِكَ
`abdika wa-akhī rasūlik
Your servant and the brother of Your Messenger
13
الَّذِيْ انْتَجَبْتَهُ بِعِلْمِكَ
al ladhintajabtahu bi`ilmik
Whom You selected by Your knowledge
14
وَجَعَلْتَهُ هَادِيًا لِمَنْ شِئْتَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ
waja`altahu hādiyan liman shi-ta min khalqik
And made him a guide for whomever You willed from Your creation
15
وَالدَّلِيْلَ عَلَى مَنْ بَعَثْتَهُ بِرِسَالَاتِكَ
wad dalīla `alā man ba`athtahu birisālātik
And the proof for those whom You sent with Your messages
16
وَدَيَّانَ الدِّيْنِ بِعَدْلِكَ
wadayyānad dīni bi`adlik
And the judge of religion by Your justice
17
وَفَصْلِ قَضَائِكَ بَيْنَ خَلْقِكَ
wafaṣli qaḍā-ika bayna khalqik
And the decisive judge between Your creation
18
وَالْمُهَيْمِنَ عَلَى ذٰلِكَ كُلِّهِ
walmuhaymina `alā dhālika kullih
And the guardian over all of that
19
وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيْهِ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
was salāmu `alayhi waraḥmatullāhi wabarakātuh
And peace be upon him and Allah's mercy and blessings
20
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى فَاطِمَةَ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā fāṭimah
O Allah, send blessings upon Fatima
21
بِنْتِ نَبِيِّكَ
binti nabiyyik
The daughter of Your Prophet
22
وَزَوْجَةِ وَلِيِّكَ
wazawjati waliyyik
And the wife of Your guardian
23
وَأُمِّ السِّبْطَيْنِ الْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ
wa-ummis sibṭaynil ḥasani walḥusayn
And the mother of the two grandsons Hasan and Husayn
24
سَيِّدَيْ شَبَابِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ
sayyiday shabābi ahlil jannah
The two masters of the youth of Paradise
25
اَلطُّهْرَةِ الطَّاهِرَةِ الْمُطَهَّرَةِ
aṭ ṭuhratiṭ ṭāhiratil muṭahharah
The pure, the purified, the cleansed
26
اَلتَّقِيَّةِ النَّقِيَّةِ الرَّضِيَّةِ الزَّكِيَّةِ
at taqiyyatin naqiyyatir raḍiyyatiz zakiyyah
The pious, the virtuous, the pleasing, the pure
27
سَيِّدَةِ نِسَاءِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ أَجْمَعِيْنَ
sayyidati nisā-i ahlil jannati ajma`īn
The mistress of all the women of Paradise
28
صَلَاةً لَا يَقْوَى عَلَى إِحْصَائِهَا غَيْرُكَ
ṣalātan lā yaqwā `alā iḥṣā-ihā ghayruk
Blessings that none can enumerate except You
29
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى الْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ
allāhumma ṣalli `alal ḥasani walḥusayn
O Allah, send blessings upon Hasan and Husayn
30
سِبْطَيْ نَبِيِّكَ
sibṭay nabiyyik
The two grandsons of Your Prophet
31
وَسَيِّدَيْ شَبَابِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ
wasayyiday shabābi ahlil jannah
And the two masters of the youth of Paradise
32
اَلْقَائِمَيْنِ فِيْ خَلْقِكَ
al qā-imayni fī khalqik
The two who stand among Your creation
33
وَالدَّلِيْلَيْنِ عَلَى مَنْ بَعَثْتَ بِرِسَالَاتِكَ
wad dalīlayni `alā man ba`athta birisālātik
And the two proofs for those whom You sent with Your messages
34
وَدَيَّانَيِ الدِّيْنِ بِعَدْلِكَ
wadayyānayid dīni bi`adlik
And the two judges of religion by Your justice
35
وَفَصْلَيْ قَضَائِكَ بَيْنَ خَلْقِكَ
wafaṣlay qaḍā-ika bayna khalqik
And the two decisive judges between Your creation
36
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā `aliyyibnil ḥusayn
O Allah, send blessings upon Ali ibn Husayn
37
عَبْدِكَ الْقَائِمِ فِيْ خَلْقِكَ
`abdikal qā-imi fī khalqik
Your servant who stands among Your creation
38
وَالدَّلِيْلِ عَلَى مَنْ بَعَثْتَ بِرِسَالَاتِكَ
wad dalīli `alā man ba`athta birisālātik
And the proof for those whom You sent with Your messages
39
وَدَيَّانِ الدِّيْنِ بِعَدْلِكَ
wadayyānid dīni bi`adlik
And the judge of religion by Your justice
40
وَفَصْلِ قَضَائِكَ بَيْنَ خَلْقِكَ
wafaṣli qaḍā-ika bayna khalqik
And the decisive judge between Your creation
41
سَيِّدِ الْعَابِدِيْنَ
sayyidil `ābidīn
The master of the worshippers
42
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadibni `aliyy
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad ibn Ali
43
عَبْدِكَ وَخَلِيْفَتِكَ فِيْ أَرْضِكَ
`abdika wakhalīfatika fī ar-ḍik
Your servant and Your vicegerent on Your earth
44
بَاقِرِ عِلْمِ النَّبِيِّيْنَ
bāqiri `ilmin nabiyyīn
The one who split open the knowledge of the Prophets
45
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّادِقِ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā ja`faribni muḥammadiniṣ ṣādiq
O Allah, send blessings upon Ja'far ibn Muhammad the Truthful
46
عَبْدِكَ وَ وَلِيِّ دِينِكَ
`abdika wa waliyyi dīnik
Your servant and the guardian of Your religion
47
وَحُجَّتِكَ عَلَى خَلْقِكَ أَجْمَعِيْنَ
waḥujjatika `alā khalqika ajma`īn
And Your proof over all Your creation
48
اَلصَّادِقِ الْبَارِّ
aṣ ṣādiqil bārr
The truthful, the virtuous
49
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُوْسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā mūsabni ja`far
O Allah, send blessings upon Musa ibn Ja'far
50
عَبْدِكَ الصَّالِحِ
`abdikaṣ ṣāliḥ
Your righteous servant
51
وَلِسَانِكَ فِيْ خَلْقِكَ
walisānika fī khalqik
And Your tongue among Your creation
52
اَلنَّاطِقِ بِحُكْمِكَ
an nāṭiqi biḥukmik
The one who speaks with Your wisdom
53
وَالْحُجَّةِ عَلَى بَرِيَّتِكَ
walḥujjati `alā bariyyatik
And the proof over Your creation
54
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُوْسَى
allāhumma ṣalli `alā `aliyyibni mūsā
O Allah, send blessings upon Ali ibn Musa
55
اَلرِّضَا الْمُرْتَضَى
ar riḍal mur-taḍā
Al-Ridha, the pleasing one
56
عَبْدِكَ وَوَلِيِّ دِيْنِكَ
`abdika wawaliyyi dīnik
Your servant and the guardian of Your religion
57
اَلْقَائِمِ بِعَدْلِكَ
al qā-imi bi`adlik
The one who stands with Your justice
58
وَالدَّاعِيْ إِلَى دِيْنِكَ وَدِيْنِ آبَائِهِ الصَّادِقِيْنَ
wad dā`ī ilā dīnika wadīni-ābā-ihiṣ ṣādiqīn
And calls to Your religion and the religion of his truthful forefathers
59
صَلَاةً لَا يَقْوَى عَلَى إِحْصَائِهَا غَيْرُكَ
ṣalātan lā yaqwā `alā iḥṣā-ihā ghayruk
Blessings that none can enumerate except You
60
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadibni `aliyy
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad ibn Ali
61
عَبْدِكَ وَ وَلِيِّكَ
`abdika wa waliyyik
Your servant and Your guardian
62
اَلْقَائِمِ بِأَمْرِكَ
al qā-imi bi-amrik
The one who stands by Your command
63
وَالدَّاعِيْ إِلَى سَبِيْلِكَ
wad dā`ī ilā sabīlik
And calls to Your path
64
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى عَليِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā `alyyibni muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Ali ibn Muhammad
65
عَبْدِكَ وَ وَلِيِّ دِيْنِكَ
`abdika wa waliyyi dīnik
Your servant and the guardian of Your religion
66
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ
allāhumma ṣalli `alal ḥasanibni `aliyy
O Allah, send blessings upon Hasan ibn Ali
67
اَلْعَامِلِ بِأَمْرِكَ
al `āmili bi-amrik
The one who acts according to Your command
68
اَلْقَائِمِ فِيْ خَلْقِكَ
al qā-imi fī khalqik
The one who stands among Your creation
69
وَحُجَّتِكَ الْمُؤَدِّيْ عَنْ نَبِيِّكَ
waḥujjatikal mu-addī `an nabiyyik
And Your proof who fulfills on behalf of Your Prophet
70
وَشَاهِدِكَ عَلَى خَلْقِكَ
washāhidika `alā khalqik
And Your witness over Your creation
71
اَلْمَخْصُوْصِ بِكَرَامَتِكَ
al makhṣūṣi bikarāmatik
The one specially honored with Your generosity
72
اَلدَّاعِيْ إِلَى طَاعَتِكَ وَطَاعَةِ رَسُوْلِكَ
ad dā`ī ilā ṭā`atika waṭā`ati rasūlik
The one who calls to Your obedience and the obedience of Your Messenger
73
صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِيْنَ
ṣalawātuka `alayhim ajma`īn
Your blessings be upon them all
74
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى حُجَّتِكَ وَ وَلِيِّكَ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā ḥujjatika wa waliyyik
O Allah, send blessings upon Your proof and Your guardian
75
اَلْقَائِمِ فِيْ خَلْقِكَ
al qā-imi fī khalqik
The one who stands among Your creation
76
صَلَاةً تَامَّةً نَامِيَةً بَاقِيَةً
ṣalātan tāmmatan nāmiyatan bāqiyah
Blessings that are complete, increasing, and everlasting
77
تُعَجِّلُ بِهَا فَرَجَهُ
tu`ajjilu bihā farajah
Through which You hasten his relief
78
وَتَنْصُرُهُ بِهَا
watanṣuruhu bihā
And through which You aid him
79
وَتَجْعَلُنَا مَعَهُ فِيْ الدُّنْيَا وَالْأٓخِرَةِ
wataj`alunā ma`ahu fid dunyā wal-ākhirah
And make us with him in this world and the Hereafter
80
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيْكَ بِحُبِّهِمْ
allāhumma innī ataqarrabu ilayka biḥubbihim
O Allah, I seek nearness to You through love for them
81
وَأُوَالِيْ وَلِيَّهُمْ وَأُعَادِيْ عَدُوَّهُمْ
wa-uwālī waliyyahum wa-u`ādī `aduwwahum
I befriend their friends and oppose their enemies
82
فَارْزُقْنِيْ بِهِمْ خَيْرَ الدُّنْيَا وَالْأٓخِرَةِ
far-zuqnī bihim khayrad dunyā wal-ākhirah
So grant me through them the good of this world and the Hereafter
83
وَاصْرِفْ عَنِّيْ بِهِمْ شَرَّ الدُّنْيَا وَالْأٓخِرَةِ
waṣrif `annī bihim sharrad dunyā wal-ākhirah
And divert from me through them the evil of this world and the Hereafter
84
وَأَهْوَالَ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ
wa-ahwāla yawmil qiyāmah
And the terrors of the Day of Resurrection
You may then sit to the side of the Imam’s head and say the following words:
85
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَلِيَّ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā waliyyallāh
Peace be upon you, O Guardian of Allah
86
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā ḥujjatallāh
Peace be upon you, O Proof of Allah
87
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نُوْرَ اللَّهِ فِيْ ظُلُمَاتِ الْأَرْضِ
as salāmu `alayka yā nūrallāhi fī ẓulumātil ar-ḍ
Peace be upon you, O Light of Allah in the darkness of the earth
88
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا عَمُوْدَ الدِّيْنِ
as salāmu `alayka yā `amūdad dīn
Peace be upon you, O Pillar of Religion
89
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ آدَمَ صَفْوَةِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha-ādama ṣafwatillāh
Peace be upon you, O Heir of Adam, the chosen one of Allah
90
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ نُوْحٍ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha nūḥin nabiyyillāh
Peace be upon you, O Heir of Noah, the prophet of Allah
91
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ خَلِيْلِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha ibrāhīma khalīlillāh
Peace be upon you, O Heir of Abraham, the friend of Allah
92
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ ذَبِيْحِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha ismā`īla dhabīḥillāh
Peace be upon you, O Heir of Ishmael, the sacrifice of Allah

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ مُوْسَى كَلِيْمِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha mūsā kalīmillāh
Peace be upon you, O Heir of Moses, the one who spoke with Allah
94
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ عِيْسَى رُوْحِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha `īsā rūḥillāh
Peace be upon you, O Heir of Jesus, the spirit of Allah
95
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ مُحَمَّدٍ رَسُوْلِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha muḥammadin rasūlillāh
Peace be upon you, O Heir of Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah
96
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ أَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha amīril mu-minīn
Peace be upon you, O Heir of the Commander of the Faithful
97
عَلِيٍّ وَلِيِّ اللَّهِ
`aliyyin waliyyillāh
Ali, the Guardian of Allah
98
وَوَصِيِّ رَسُوْلِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
wawaṣiyyi rasūli rabbil `ālamīn
And the successor of the Messenger of the Lord of the Worlds
99
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ فَاطِمَةَ الزَّهْرَاءِ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha fāṭimataz zahrā
Peace be upon you, O Heir of Fatima al-Zahra
100
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ الْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ
as salāmu `alayka yā wārithal ḥasani walḥusayn
Peace be upon you, O Heir of Hasan and Husayn
101
سَيِّدَيْ شَبَابِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ
sayyiday shabābi ahlil jannah
The two masters of the youth of Paradise
102
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ زَيْنِ الْعَابِدِيْنَ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha `aliyyibnil ḥusayni zaynil `ābidīn
Peace be upon you, O Heir of Ali ibn Husayn, Zayn al-Abidin

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha muḥammadibni `aliyy
Peace be upon you, O Heir of Muhammad ibn Ali

بَاقِرِ عِلْمِ الْأَوَّلِيْنَ وَالْأٓخِرِيْنَ
bāqiri `ilmil awwalīna wal-ākhirīn
The one who split open the knowledge of the first and the last
105
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha ja`faribni muḥammad
Peace be upon you, O Heir of Ja'far ibn Muhammad

اَلصَّادِقِ الْبَارِّ
aṣ ṣādiqil bārr
The truthful, the virtuous

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ مُوْسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha mūsabni ja`far
Peace be upon you, O Heir of Musa ibn Ja'far
108
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا الصِّدِّيْقُ الشَّهِيْدُ
as salāmu `alayka ayyuhaṣ ṣiddīqush shahīd
Peace be upon you, O truthful martyr

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا الْوَصِيُّ الْبَارُّ التَّقِيُّ
as salāmu `alayka ayyuhal waṣiyyul bārrut taqiyy
Peace be upon you, O virtuous and pious successor
110
أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ قَدْ أَقَمْتَ الصَّلَاةَ
ash-hadu annaka qad aqamtaṣ ṣalāh
I bear witness that you established prayer
111
وَ آتَيْتَ الزَّكَاةَ
wa-ātaytaz zakāh
And gave the prescribed charity
112
وَأَمَرْتَ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ
wa-amar-ta bil ma`rūf
And enjoined good
113
وَنَهَيْتَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ
wanahayta `anil munkar
And forbade evil
114
وَعَبَدْتَ اللَّهَ مُخْلِصًا حَتَّى أَتَاكَ الْيَقِيْنُ
wa`abadtallāha mukhliṣan ḥattā atākal yaqīn
And worshipped Allah sincerely until death came to you
115
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَبَا الْحَسَنِ
as salāmu `alayka yā abal ḥasan
Peace be upon you, O Abu al-Hasan
116
وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
waraḥmatullāhi wabarakātuh
And the mercy of Allah and His blessings
You may then throw yourself on the tomb and say the following prayer:
117
اَللَّهُمَّ إِلَيْكَ صَمَدْتُ مِنْ أَرْضِيْ
allāhumma ilayka ṣamadtu min ar-ḍī
O Allah, to You I have journeyed from my land
118
وَقَطَعْتُ الْبِلَادَ رَجَاءَ رَحْمَتِكَ
waqaṭa`tul bilāda rajā-a raḥmatik
And traversed cities hoping for Your mercy
119
فَلَا تُخَيِّبْنِيْ وَلَا تَرُدَّنِيْ بِغَيْرِ قَضَاءِ حَاجَتِيْ
falā tukhayyibnī walā taruddanī bighayri qaḍā-i ḥājatī
So do not disappoint me nor send me back without fulfilling my needs
120
وَارْحَمْ تَقَلُّبِيْ عَلَى قَبْرِ ابْنِ أَخِيْ رَسُوْلِكَ
war-ḥam taqallubī `alā qabribni akhī rasūlik
And have mercy on my devotion at the grave of the son of Your Messenger's brother
121
صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
ṣalawātuka `alayhi wa-ālih
Your blessings be upon him and his family
122
بِأَبِيْ أَنْتَ وَأُمِّيْ يَا مَوْلَايَ
bi-abī anta wa-ummī yā mawlāy
May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, O my master
123
أَتَيْتُكَ زَائِرًا وَافِدًا
ataytuka zā-iran wāfidā
I have come to you as a visitor, as a delegate
124
عَائِذًا مِمَّا جَنَيْتُ عَلَى نَفْسِيْ
`ā-idhan mimmā janaytu `alā nafsī
Seeking refuge from what I have committed against myself
125
وَاحْتَطَبْتُ عَلَى ظَهْرِيْ
waḥtaṭabtu `alā ẓahrī
And the burdens I have placed upon my back
126
فَكُنْ لِيْ شَافِعًا إِلَى اللَّهِ
fakun lī shāfi`an ilallāh
So be an intercessor for me with Allah
127
يَوْمَ فَقْرِيْ وَفَاقَتِيْ
yawma faqrī wafāqatī
On the day of my poverty and need

فَلَكَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مَقَامٌ مَحْمُوْدٌ
falaka `indallāhi maqāmun maḥmūd
For you have an honorable station with Allah
129
وَأَنْتَ عِنْدَهُ وَجِيْهٌ
wa-anta `indahu wajīh
And you are distinguished in His presence
You may then raise your right hand towards the sky, stretch out your left hand on the tomb, and say the following prayer:
130
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيْكَ بِحُبِّهِمْ وَبِوِلَايَتِهِمْ
allāhumma innī ataqarrabu ilayka biḥubbihim wabiwilāyatihim
O Allah, I seek nearness to You through love for them and through their guardianship
131
أَتَوَلَّى آخِرَهُمْ بِمَا تَوَلَّيْتُ بِهِ أَوَّلَهُمْ
atawallā-ākhirahum bimā tawallaytu bihi awwalahum
I befriend the last of them as I befriend the first of them
132
وَأَبْرَأُ مِنْ كُلِّ وَلِيْجَةٍ دُوْنَهُمْ
wa-abra-u min kulli walījatin dūnahum
And I disavow every confidant besides them
133
اَللَّهُمَّ الْعَنِ الَّذِيْنَ بَدَّلُوْا نِعْمَتَكَ
allāhummal `anil ladhīna baddalū ni`matak
O Allah, curse those who changed Your blessing
134
وَاتَّهَمُوْا نَبِيَّكَ
wattahamū nabiyyak
And accused Your Prophet
135
وَجَحَدُوْا بِأٓيَاتِكَ
wajaḥadū bi-āyātik
And denied Your signs
136
وَسَخِرُوْا بِإِمَامِكَ
wasakhirū bi-imāmik
And mocked Your Imam
137
وَحَمَلُوْا النَّاسَ عَلَى أَكْتَافِ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
waḥamalun nāsa `alā aktāfi-āli muḥammad
And burdened the people with the oppression of Muhammad's family
138
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيْكَ بِالْلَّعْنَةِ عَلَيْهِمْ
allāhumma innī ataqarrabu ilayka bil-la`nati `alayhim
O Allah, I seek nearness to You by cursing them
139
وَالْبَرَاءَةِ مِنْهُمْ فِيْ الدُّنْيَا وَالْأٓخِرَةِ يَا رَحْمٰنُ
walbarā-ati minhum fid dunyā wal-ākhirati yā raḥmān
And disavowing them in this world and the Hereafter, O Most Merciful
You may turn to the side of the Imam’s feet and say the following words:
140
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَبَا الْحَسَنِ
ṣallallāhu `alayka yā abal ḥasan
May Allah bless you, O Abu al-Hasan
141
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى رُوْحِكَ وَبَدَنِكَ
ṣallallāhu `alā rūḥika wabadanik
May Allah bless your soul and your body
142
صَبَرْتَ وَأَنْتَ الصَّادِقُ الْمُصَدَّقُ
ṣabar-ta wa-antaṣ ṣādiqul muṣaddaq
You were patient and you are the truthful, the confirmed
143
قَتَلَ اللَّهُ مَنْ قَتَلَكَ بِالْأَيْدِيْ وَالْأَلْسُنِ
qatalallāhu man qatalaka bil aydī wal-alsun
May Allah destroy those who killed you with their hands and tongues
