اَللَّهُمَّ طَهِّرْنِيْ وَطَهِّرْ لِيْ قَلْبِيْ
allāhumma ṭahhir-nī waṭahhir lī qalbī
O Allah, purify me and purify my heart for me

وَاشْرَحْ لِيْ صَدْرِيْ
washraḥ lī ṣadrī
And expand my chest for me
3
وَأَجْرِ عَلَى لِسَانِيْ مِدْحَتَكَ وَمَحَبَّتَكَ وَالثَّنَاءَ عَلَيْكَ
wa-ajri `alā lisānī mid-ḥataka wamaḥabbataka wath thanā-a `alayk
And let Your praise, Your love, and glorification of You flow upon my tongue

فإِنَّهُ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِكَ
finnahu lā quwwata illā bik
For indeed there is no power except through You
5
وَقَدْ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّ قِوَامَ دِيْنِيْ
waqad `alimtu anna qiwāma dīnī
And I have known that the foundation of my religion
6
اَلتَّسْلِيْمُ لِأَمْرِكَ وَالْإِتِّبَاعُ لِسُنَّةِ نَبِيِّكَ
at taslīmu li-amrika wal-ittibā`u lisunnati nabiyyik
Is submission to Your command and following the tradition of Your Prophet
7
وَالشَّهَادَةُ عَلَى جَمِيْعِ خَلْقِكَ
wash shahādatu `alā jamī`i khalqik
And bearing witness over all Your creation
8
اَللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ لِيْ شِفَاءً وَنُوْرًا
allāhummaj`alhu lī shifā-an wanūrā
O Allah, make it a healing and light for me
9
إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ
innaka `alā kulli shay-in qadīr
Indeed, You are over all things powerful
