1
أَسْتَوْدِعُكَ اللَّهَ وَأَسْتَرْعِيْكَ
astawdi`ukallāha wa-astar-`īk
I entrust you to Allah and seek His protection for you
2
وَأَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكَ السَّلَامَ
wa-aqra-u `alaykas salām
And I convey peace upon you
3
آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَبِرَسُوْلِهِ وَبِكِتَابِهِ
āmannā billāhi wabirasūlihi wabikitābih
We believe in Allah, His Messenger, and His Book
4
وَبِمَا جَاءَ بِهِ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ
wabimā jā-a bihi min `indillāh
And in what he brought from Allah
5
اَللَّهُمَّ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِيْنَ
allāhumma faktubnā ma`ash shāhidīn
O Allah, write us among the witnesses
6
اَللَّهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ آخِرَ العَهْدِ مِنْ زِيَارَتِيْ قَبْرَ ابْنِ أَخِيْ رَسُوْلِكَ
allāhumma lā taj`alhu-ākhiral `ahdi min ziyāratī qabrabni akhī rasūlik
O Allah, do not make this my last visit to the grave of the son of Your Messenger's brother
7
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa-ālih
May Allah's blessings be upon him and his family
8
وَارْزُقْنِيْ زِيَارَتَهُ أَبَدًا مَا أَبْقَيْتَنِيْ
war-zuqnī ziyāratahu abadan mā abqaytanī
And grant me the opportunity to visit him for as long as You keep me alive
9
وَاحْشُرْنِيْ مَعَهُ وَمَعَ آبَائِهِ فِيْ الْجِنَانِ
waḥshur-nī ma`ahu wama`a-ābā-ihi fil jinān
And gather me with him and his forefathers in Paradise
10
وَعَرِّفْ بَيْنِيْ وَبَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ رَسُوْلِكَ وَأَوْلِيَائِكَ
wa`arrif baynī wabaynahu wabayna rasūlika wa-awliyā-ik
And establish recognition between me, him, Your Messenger, and Your chosen ones

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa-āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
12
وَتَوَفَّنِيْ عَلَى الْإِيْـمَانِ بِكَ
watawaffanī `alal īmāni bik
And let me die with faith in You
13
وَالتَّصْدِيْقِ بِرَسُوْلِكَ
wat taṣdīqi birasūlik
And with belief in Your Messenger
14
وَالوِلَايَةِ لِعَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِيْ طَالِبٍ وَالْأَئِمَّةِ مِنْ وُلْدِهِ
wālwilāyati li`aliyyibni abī ṭālibin wal-a-immati min wuldih
And with loyalty to Ali ibn Abi Talib and the Imams from his descendants
15
وَالْبَرَاءَةِ مِنْ عَدُوِّهِمْ
walbarā-ati min `aduwwihim
And with disassociation from their enemies
16
فَإِنِّيْ قَدْ رَضِيتُ يَا رَبِّيْ بِذٰلِكَ
fa-innī qad raḍītu yā rabbī bidhālik
For I am pleased with this, O my Lord
17
وَصَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
waṣallallāhu `alā muḥammadin wa-āli muḥammad
And may Allah's blessings be upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
