اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yabna rasūlillāh
Peace be upon you, O son of the Messenger of Allah
2
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ اَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
as salāmu `alayka yabna amīril mu-minīn
Peace be upon you, O son of the Commander of the Faithful
3
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ الصِّدِّيقَةِ الطَّاهِرَةِ
as salāmu `alayka yabnaṣ ṣiddīqatiṭ ṭāhirah
Peace be upon you, O son of the truthful, the pure
4
فَاطِمَةَ سَيِّدَةِ نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
fāṭimata sayyidati nisā-il `ālamīn
Fatima, the leader of the women of the worlds
5
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلَايَ يَا اَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā mawlāya yā abā `abdillāh
Peace be upon you, O my master, O Abu Abdullah
6
وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
waraḥmatullāhi wabarakātuh
And may Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you
7
اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ قَدْ اَقَمْتَ الصَّلاَةَ
ash-hadu annaka qad aqamtaṣ ṣalāh
I bear witness that you established prayer
8
وَ آتَيْتَ الزَّكَاةَ
wa ātaytaz zakāh
And gave the zakat
9
وَ اَمَرْتَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ
wa amar-ta bil ma`rūf
And enjoined good
10
وَنَهَيْتَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ
wanahayta `anil munkar
And forbade evil
11
وَتَلَوْتَ الْكِتَابَ حَقَّ تِلاَوَتِهِ
watalawtal kitāba ḥaqqa tilāwatih
And recited the Book as it should be recited
12
وَجَاهَدْتَ فِيْ اللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِ
wajāhadta fillāhi ḥaqqa jihādih
And strived in the way of Allah with true striving
13
وَصَبَرْتَ عَلَى الَاذَىٰ فِيْ جَنْبِهِ مُحْتَسِبًا حَتَّى اَتَاكَ الْيَقِينُ
waṣabar-ta `alal ādhā fī janbihi muḥtasiban ḥattā atākal yaqīn
And patiently endured harm in His cause until certainty came to you

اَشْهَدُ اَنَّ الَّذِيْنَ خَالَفُوْكَ وَحَارَبُوْكَ
ash-hadu annal ladhīna khālafūka waḥārabūk
I bear witness that those who opposed you and fought you
15
وَالَّذِيْنَ خَذَلُوْكَ وَالَّذِيْنَ قَتَلُوْكَ
walladhīna khadhalūka walladhīna qatalūk
And those who abandoned you and those who killed you
16
مَلْعُوْنُوْنَ عَلَى لِسَانِ النَّبِيِّ الْأُمِّيِّ
mal`ūnūna `alā lisānin nabiyyil ummiyy
Are cursed by the tongue of the unlettered Prophet
17
وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنِ افْتَرَى
waqad khāba maniftarā
And failed has the one who fabricated lies
18
لَعَنَ اللَّهُ الظَّالِمِيْنَ لَكُمْ مِنَ الَاوَّلِينَ وَالْآخِرِينَ
la`anallāhuẓ ẓālimīna lakum minal āwwalīna wal-ākhirīn
May Allah curse those who oppressed you, from the first to the last
19
وَضَاعَفَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْعَذَابَ الْأَلِيمَ
waḍā`afa `alayhimul `adhābal alīm
And may He multiply for them the painful punishment
20
اَتَيْتُكَ يَا مَوْلَايَ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ
ataytuka yā mawlāya yabna rasūlillāh
I have come to you, O my master, O son of the Messenger of Allah
21
زَائِرًا عَارِفًا بِحَقِّكَ
zā-iran `ārifan biḥaqqik
As a visitor, aware of your rights
22
مُوَالِيًا لِأَوْلِيَائِكَ
muwāliyan li-awliyā-ik
Loyal to your friends
23
مُعَادِيًا لِأَعْدَائِكَ
mu`ādiyan li-a`dā-ik
Hostile to your enemies
24
مُسْتَبْصِرًا بِالْهُدَى الَّذِيْ انْتَ عَلَيْهِ
mustabṣiran bil hudal ladhinta `alayh
Enlightened by the guidance that you follow
25
عَارِفًا بِضَلَالَةِ مَنْ خَالَفَكَ
`ārifan biḍalālati man khālafak
Aware of the misguidance of those who opposed you
26
فَاشْفَعْ لِيْ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ
fashfa` lī `inda rabbik
So intercede for me with your Lord
27
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ اللَّهِ فِيْ اَرْضِهِ وَسَمَائِهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā ḥujjatallāhi fī ar-ḍihi wasamā-ih
Peace be upon you, O proof of Allah on His earth and in His heaven
28
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى رُوْحِكَ الطَّيِّبِ وَجَسَدِكَ الطَّاهِرِ
ṣallallāhu `alā rūḥikaṭ ṭayyibi wajasadikaṭ ṭāhir
May Allah's blessings be upon your pure soul and your purified body
29
وَعَلَيْكَ السَّلاَمُ يَا مَوْلَايَ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
wa`alaykas salāmu yā mawlāya waraḥmatullāhi wabarakātuh
And upon you be peace, O my master, and Allah's mercy and blessings
30
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلَايَ وَابْنَ مَوْلَايَ
as salāmu `alayka yā mawlāya wabna mawlāy
Peace be upon you, O my master and son of my master
31
وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
waraḥmatullāhi wabarakātuh
And may Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you
32
لَعَنَ اللَّهُ مَنْ ظَلَمَكَ
la`anallāhu man ẓalamak
May Allah curse whoever oppressed you
33
وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ مَنْ قَتَلَكَ
wala`anallāhu man qatalak
And may Allah curse whoever killed you
34
وَضَاعَفَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْعَذَابَ الَالِيمَ
waḍā`afa `alayhimul `adhābal ālīm
And multiply for them the painful punishment
35
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ اَيُّهَا الصِّدِّيقُونَ
as salāmu `alaykum ayyuhaṣ ṣiddīqūn
Peace be upon you, O truthful ones
36
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ اَيُّهَا الشُّهَدَاءُ الصَّابِرُونَ
as salāmu `alaykum ayyuhash shuhadā-uṣ ṣābirūn
Peace be upon you, O patient martyrs
37
اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكُمْ جَاهَدْتُمْ فِيْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ
ash-hadu annakum jāhadtum fī sabīlillāh
I bear witness that you strived in the way of Allah
38
وَصَبَرْتُمْ عَلَى الَاذَى فِيْ جَنْبِ اللَّهِ
waṣabar-tum `alal ādhā fī janbillāh
And patiently endured harm for the sake of Allah
39
وَنَصَحْتُمْ لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ حَتَّى اَتَاكُمُ الْيَقِينُ
wanaṣaḥtum lillāhi walirasūlihi ḥattā atākumul yaqīn
And you were sincere to Allah and His Messenger until certainty came to you
40
اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكُمْ اَحْيَاءٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّكُمْ تُرْزَقُونَ
ash-hadu annakum aḥyā-un `inda rabbikum tur-zaqūn
I bear witness that you are alive with your Lord, receiving provision
41
فَجَزَاكُمُ اللَّهُ عَنِ الْاِسْلاَمِ وَاَهْلِهِ اَفْضَلَ جَزَاءِ الْمُحْسِنِيْنَ
fajazākumullāhu `anil islāmi wa-ahlihi afḍala jazā-il muḥsinīn
May Allah reward you on behalf of Islam and its people with the best reward of the good-doers
42
وَجَمَعَ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ فِيْ مَحَلِّ النَّعِيمِ
wajama`a baynanā wabaynakum fī maḥallin na`īm
And may He unite us with you in the place of bliss
43
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ اَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
as salāmu `alayka yabna amīril mu-minīn
Peace be upon you, O son of the Commander of the Faithful
44
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْعَبْدُ الصَّالِحُ
as salāmu `alayka ayyuhal `abduṣ ṣāliḥ
Peace be upon you, O righteous servant
45
اَلْمُطِيعُ لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ
al muṭī`u lillāhi walirasūlih
Obedient to Allah and His Messenger
46
اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ قَدْ جَاهَدْتَ وَنَصَحْتَ
ash-hadu annaka qad jāhadta wanaṣaḥt
I bear witness that you strived and were sincere
47
وَصَبَرْتَ حَتَّى اَتَاكَ الْيَقِينُ
waṣabar-ta ḥattā atākal yaqīn
And endured patiently until certainty came to you
48
لَعَنَ اللَّهُ الظَّالِمِيْنَ لَكُمْ مِنَ اَلاَوَّلِينَ وَالْآخِرِينَ
la`anallāhuẓ ẓālimīna lakum mina alāwwalīna wal-ākhirīn
May Allah curse those who oppressed you, from the first to the last
49
وَ اَلْحَقَهُمْ بِدَرْكِ الْجَحِيمِ
wa alḥaqahum bidar-kil jaḥīm
And may He cast them into the depths of Hellfire
