بِسْمِ اللَّهِ
bismillāh
In the name of Allah
2
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِيْ إِلَيْكَ
allāhumma innī aslamtu nafsī ilayk
O Allah, I submit myself to You
3
وَوَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيْ إِلَيْكَ
wawajjahtu wajhī ilayk
And I turn my face towards You
4
وَفَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِيْ إِلَيْكَ
wafawwaḍtu amrī ilayk
And I entrust my affairs to You
5
وَأَلْجَأْتُ ظَهْرِيْ إِلَيْكَ
wa-alja-tu ẓahrī ilayk
And I seek refuge with You
6
وَتَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَيْكَ رَهْبَةً مِنْكَ وَرَغْبَةً إِلَيْكَ
watawakkaltu `alayka rahbatan minka waraghbatan ilayk
And I rely upon You, in fear of You and in hope of You
7
لَا مَلْجَأَ وَلَا مَنْجَى مِنْكَ إِلَّا إِلَيْكَ
lā malja-a walā manjā minka illā ilayk
There is no refuge and no escape from You except to You
8
آمَنْتُ بِكِتَابِكَ الَّذِيْ أَنْزَلْتَ
āmantu bikitābikal ladhī anzalt
I believe in Your Book which You have revealed
9
وَبِرَسُوْلِكَ الَّذِيْ أَرْسَلْتَ
wabirasūlikal ladhī ar-salt
And in Your Messenger whom You have sent
