اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِيْ اَطْعَمَنَا
al ḥamdu lillāhil ladhī aṭ`amanā
All praise belongs to Allah who has fed us

وَسَقَانَا، وَكَفَانَا
wasaqānā, wakafānā
and given us to drink, and sufficed us
3
وَاَيَّدَنَا، وَ آوَانَا
wa-ayyadanā, wa āwānā
and strengthened us, and sheltered us
4
وَاَنْعَمَ عَلَيْنَا، وَاَفْضَلَ
wa-an`ama `alaynā, wa-afḍal
and bestowed His blessings upon us, and favored us

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِيْ يُطْعِمُ وَلَا يُطْعَمُ
al ḥamdu lillāhil ladhī yuṭ`imu walā yuṭ`am
All praise belongs to Allah who feeds others but is not fed
