بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
1
رَبِّ أَدْخِلْنِيْ فِيْ لُجَّةِ بَحْرِ أَحَدِيَّتِكَ
rabbi adkhilnī fī lujjati baḥri aḥadiyyatik
My Lord, immerse me in the depth of the ocean of Your Oneness
2
وَطَمْطَامِ يَمِّ وَحْدَانِيَّتِكَ
waṭamṭāmi yammi waḥdāniyyatik
And in the vast sea of Your Unity
3
وَقَوِّنِيْ بِقُوَّةِ سَطْوَةِ سُلْطَانِ فَرْدَانِيَّتِكَ
waqawwinī biquwwati saṭwati sulṭāni far-dāniyyatik
And strengthen me with the power of the might of Your Unique Sovereignty
4
حَتَّىٰ أَخْرُجَ إِلٰى فَضَاءِ سَعَةِ رَحْمَتِكَ
ḥattā akhruja ilā faḍā-i sa`ati raḥmatik
So that I may emerge into the expanse of Your vast mercy
5
وَفِيْ وَجْهِيْ لَمَعَاتُ بَرْقِ الْقُرْبِ مِنْ آثَارِ حِمَايَتِكَ
wafī wajhī lama`ātu bar-qil qur-bi min-āthāri ḥimāyatik
With my face illuminated by the flashes of the lightning of nearness from the effects of Your protection
6
مَهِيبًا بِهَيْبَتِكَ
mahīban bihaybatik
Awe-inspiring through Your majesty
7
عَزِيزًا بِعِنَايَتِكَ
`azīzan bi`ināyatik
Honored through Your care
8
مُتَجَلِّلًا مُكَرَّمًا
mutajallilan mukarramā
Adorned and dignified
9
بِتَعْلِيمِكَ وَتَزْكِيَتِكَ
bita`līmika watazkiyatik
By Your teaching and Your purification
10
وَأَلْبِسْنِيْ خِلَعَ الْعِزَّةِ وَالْقَبُولِ
wa-albisnī khila`al `izzati walqabūl
And clothe me with the robes of honor and acceptance
11
وَسَهِّلْ لِيْ مَنَاهِجَ الْوُصْلَةِ وَالْوُصُولِ
wasahhil lī manāhijal wuṣlati walwuṣūl
And ease for me the paths of connection and arrival
12
وَتَوِّجْنِيْ بِتَاجِ الْكَرَامَةِ وَالْوَقَارِ
watawwijnī bitājil karāmati walwaqār
And crown me with the crown of dignity and reverence
13
وَأَلِّفْ بَيْنِيْ وَبَيْنَ أَحِبَّائِكَ
wa-allif baynī wabayna aḥibbā-ik
And establish harmony between me and Your beloved ones
14
فِيْ دَارِ الدُّنْيَا وَدَارِ الْقَرَارِ
fī dārid dunyā wadāril qarār
In this worldly abode and the eternal abode
15
وَارْزُقْنِيْ مِنْ نُوْرِ اسْمِكَ هَيْبَةً وَسَطْوَةً
war-zuqnī min nūrismika haybatan wasaṭwah
And grant me from the light of Your name an awe and authority
16
تَنْقَادُ لِيَ الْقُلُوبُ وَالْأَرْوَاحُ
tanqādu liyal qulūbu wal-ar-wāḥ
By which hearts and souls are led to me
17
وَتَخْضَعُ لَدَيَّ النُّفُوسُ وَالْأَشْبَاحُ
watakhḍa`u ladayyan nufūsu wal-ashbāḥ
And by which selves and bodies submit to me
18
يَا مَنْ ذَلَّتْ لَهُ رِقَابُ الْجَبَابِرَةِ
yā man dhallat lahu riqābul jabābirah
O You before whom the necks of tyrants are humbled
19
وَخَضَعَتْ لَدَيْهِ أَعْنَاقُ الْأَكَاسِرَةِ
wakhaḍa`at ladayhi a`nāqul akāsirah
And before whom the necks of mighty kings bow down
20
لَامَلْجَأَ وَلَا مَنْجٰا مِنْكَ إِلَّا إِلَيْكَ
lāmalja-a walā manjā minka illā ilayk
There is no refuge nor escape from You except to You
21
وَلَا إِعَانَةَ إِلَّا بِكَ
walā i`ānata illā bik
And no assistance except through You
22
وَلَا اتِّكَاءَ إِلَّا عَلَيْكَ
walattikā-a illā `alayk
And no reliance except upon You
23
اِدْفَعْ عَنِّيْ كَيْدَ الْحَاسِدِيْنَ
idfa` `annī kaydal ḥāsidīn
Repel from me the plots of the envious
24
وَظُلُمَاتِ شَرِّ الْمُعَانِدِيْنَ
waẓulumāti sharril mu`ānidīn
And the darkness of the evil of the obstinate
25
وَارْحَمْنِيْ تَحْتَ سُرَادِقَاتِ عَرْشِكَ
war-ḥamnī taḥta surādiqāti `ar-shik
And have mercy on me beneath the canopies of Your throne
26
يَا أَكْرَمَ الْأَكْرَمِيْنَ
yā akramal akramīn
O Most Generous of the generous ones
27
أَيِّدْ ظَاهِرِيْ فِيْ تَحْصِيلِ مَرَاضِيكَ
ayyid ẓāhirī fī taḥṣīli marāḍīk
Support my outward self in attaining Your pleasure
28
وَنَوِّرْ قَلْبِىْ وَسِرِّى بِالَاطِّلاعِ عَلَى مَنَاهِجِ مَسَاعِيكَ
wanawwir qalbī wasirrī bilāṭṭilā`i `alā manāhiji masā`īk
And illuminate my heart and my innermost being with insight into the methods of Your works
29
إِلٰهِيْ كَيْفَ أَصْدُرُ عَنْ بَابِكَ بِخَيْبَةٍ مِنْكَ
ilāhī kayfa aṣduru `an bābika bikhaybatin mink
My God, how could I depart from Your door in disappointment from You
30
وَقَدْ وَرَدْتُهُ عَلَى ثِقَةٍ بِكَ
waqad waradtuhu `alā thiqatin bik
While I have come to it with trust in You
31
وَكَيْفَ تُؤْيِسُنِيْ مِنْ عَطَائِكَ
wakayfa tu-yisunī min `aṭā-ik
And how could You make me despair of Your giving
32
وَقَدْ أَمَرْتَنِيْ بِدُعَائِكَ
waqad amar-tanī bidu`ā-ik
When You have commanded me to call upon You
33
وَهَا أَنَا مُقْبِلٌ عَلَيْكَ
wahā ana muqbilun `alayk
And here I am, turning towards You
34
مُلْتَجِئٌ إِلَيْكَ
multaji-un ilayk
Taking refuge in You
35
بَاعِدْ بَيْنِيْ وَبَيْنَ أَعْدَائِي
bā`id baynī wabayna a`dā-ī
Distance between me and my enemies
36
كَمَا بَاعَدْتَ بَيْنَ أَعْدَائِي
kamā bā`adta bayna a`dā-ī
As You have distanced between my enemies
37
اِخْتَطِفْ أَبْصَارَهُمْ عَنِّي
ikhtaṭif abṣārahum `annī
Snatch their sight away from me
38
بِنُوْرِ قُدْسِكَ
binūri qudsik
By the light of Your holiness
39
وَجَلَالِ مَجْدِكَ
wajalāli majdik
And the majesty of Your glory
40
إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ
innaka antallāh
Indeed, You are Allah
41
اَلْمُعْطِيْ جَلَائِلَ النِّعَمِ الْمُكَرَّمَةِ
al mu`ṭī jalā-ilan ni`amil mukarramah
The Giver of magnificent, honored blessings
42
لِمَنْ نَاجَاكَ بِلَطَائِفِ رَحْمَتِكَ
liman nājāka bilaṭā-ifi raḥmatik
To those who call upon You with the subtleties of Your mercy
43
يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ
yā ḥayyu yā qayyūm
O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting
44
يَا ذَا الْجَلالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ
yā dhal jalāli wal-ikrām
O Possessor of Majesty and Honor
45
وَصَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا وَنَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ
waṣallallāhu `alā sayyidinā wanabiyyinā muḥammad
And may Allah bless our master and prophet Muhammad
46
وَ آلِهِ أَجْمَعِينَ الطَّيِّبِينَ الطَّاهِرِينَ
wa ālihi ajma`īnaṭ ṭayyibīnaṭ ṭāhirīn
And all his family, the good and the pure
