بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
1
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ
subḥānallāh
Glory be to Allah
2
وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ
walḥamdu lillāh
All praise be to Allah
3
وَلَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ
walā ilāha illallāh
There is no god but Allah
4
وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
wallāhu akbar
Allah is the Greatest
5
وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ
walā ḥawla walā quwwata illā billāhil `aliyyil `aẓīm
There is no power or strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Magnificent
6
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ آنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَأَطْرَافَ النَّهَارِ
subḥānallāhi-ānā-al layli wa-aṭrāfan nahār
Glory be to Allah during the night and at the ends of the day
7
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالْآصَالِ
subḥānallāhi bil ghuduwwi wal-āṣāl
Glory be to Allah in the morning and the evening
8
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَالْإِبْكَارِ
subḥānallāhi bil `ashiyyi wal-ibkār
Glory be to Allah in the evening and the morning
9
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ حِينَ تُمْسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصْبِحُونَ
subḥānallāhi ḥīna tumsūna waḥīna tuṣbiḥūn
Glory be to Allah when you reach the evening and when you reach the morning
10
وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِيْ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ
walahul ḥamdu fis samāwāti wal-ar-ḍ
And to Him is all praise in the heavens and the earth
11
وَعَشِيًّا وَحِينَ تُظْهِرُونَ
wa`ashiyyan waḥīna tuẓhirūn
In the evening and when you are at midday
12
يُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ
yukhrijul ḥayya minal mayyit
He brings forth the living from the dead
13
وَيُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ
wayukhrijul mayyita minal ḥayy
And brings forth the dead from the living
14
وَيُحْيِيْ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا
wayuḥyil ar-ḍa ba`da mawtihā
And He gives life to the earth after its death
15
وَكَذَلِكَ تُخْرَجُونَ
wakadhalika tukhrajūn
And likewise you will be brought forth
16
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
subḥāna rabbika rabbil `izzati `ammā yaṣifūn
Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Honor, above what they describe
17
وَسَلامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ
wasalāmun `alal mur-salīn
And peace be upon the Messengers
18
وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
walḥamdu lillāhi rabbil `ālamīn
And all praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds
19
سُبْحَانَ ذِيْ الْمُلْكِ وَالْمَلَكُوتِ
subḥāna dhil mulki walmalakūt
Glory be to the Owner of the Kingdom and Sovereignty
20
سُبْحَانَ ذِيْ الْعِزَّةِ وَالْجَبَرُوتِ
subḥāna dhil `izzati waljabarūt
Glory be to the Owner of Honor and Might
21
سُبْحَانَ ذِيْ الْكِبْرِيَاءِ وَالْعَظَمَةِ
subḥāna dhil kibriyā-i wal`aẓamah
Glory be to the Owner of Greatness and Magnificence
22
اَلْمَلِكِ الْحَقِّ المُهَيْمِنِ الْمُبِينِ القُدُّوسِ
al malikil ḥaqqil muhayminil mubīnil quddūs
The True King, the Guardian, the Manifest, the Holy
23
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْمَلِكِ الْحَيِّ الَّذِيْ لَايَمُوتُ
subḥānallāhil malikil ḥayyil ladhī lāyamūt
Glory be to Allah, the Living King who never dies
24
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْمَلِكِ الْحَيِّ الْقُدُّوسِ
subḥānallāhil malikil ḥayyil quddūs
Glory be to Allah, the Living King, the Holy
25
سُبْحَانَ الْقَائِمِ الدَّائِمِ
subḥānal qā-imid dā-im
Glory be to the Ever-Standing, the Everlasting
26
سُبْحَانَ الدَّائِمِ الْقَائِمِ
subḥānad dā-imil qā-im
Glory be to the Everlasting, the Ever-Standing
27
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْعَظِيمِ
subḥāna rabbiyal `aẓīm
Glory be to my Lord, the Magnificent
28
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلىٰ
subḥāna rabbiyal a`lā
Glory be to my Lord, the Most High
29
سُبْحَانَ الْحَيِّ الْقَيُّومِ
subḥānal ḥayyil qayyūm
Glory be to the Living, the Self-Subsisting
30
سُبْحَانَ الْعَلِيِّ الْأَعْلىٰ
subḥānal `aliyyil a`lā
Glory be to the Most High, the Exalted
31
سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ
subḥānahu wata`ālā
Glory be to Him and Exalted is He
32
سُبُّوحٌ قُدُّوسٌ
subbūḥun quddūs
The Perfect, the Holy
33
رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّ الْمَلائِكَةِ وَالرُّوحِ
rabbunā warabbul malā-ikati war rūḥ
Our Lord and the Lord of the angels and the Spirit
34
سُبْحَانَ الدَّائِمِ غَيْرِ الْغَافِلِ
subḥānad dā-imi ghayril ghāfil
Glory be to the Everlasting who is never heedless
35
سُبْحَانَ الْعَالِمِ بِغَيْرِ تَعْلِيمٍ
subḥānal `ālimi bighayri ta`līm
Glory be to the Knower who needs no teaching
36
سُبْحَانَ خَالِقِ مَا يُرىٰ وَمَا لَايُرىٰ
subḥāna khāliqi mā yurā wamā lāyurā
Glory be to the Creator of what is seen and what is unseen
37
سُبْحَانَ الَّذِيْ يُدْرِكُ الْأَبْصَارَ
subḥānal ladhī yudrikul abṣār
Glory be to the One who perceives all vision
38
وَلَا تُدْرِكُهُ الْأَبْصَارُ
walā tudrikuhul abṣār
But vision cannot perceive Him
39
وَهُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ
wahuwal laṭīful khabīr
And He is the Subtle, the All-Aware
40
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَصْبَحْتُ مِنْكَ فِيْ نِعْمَةٍ وَخَيْرٍ
allāhumma innī aṣbaḥtu minka fī ni`matin wakhayr
O Allah, I have entered the morning in Your blessing and goodness
41
وَبَرَكَةٍ وَعَافِيَةٍ
wabarakatin wa`āfiyah
And bounty and well-being
42
فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
faṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
So send blessings upon Muhammad and his family
43
وَأَتْمِمْ عَلَيَّ نِعْمَتَكَ وَخَيْرَكَ
wa-atmim `alayya ni`mataka wakhayrak
And complete Your blessing and goodness upon me
44
وَبَرَكَاتِكَ وَعَافِيَتَكَ
wabarakātika wa`āfiyatak
And Your bounties and Your well-being
45
بِنَجَاةٍ مِنَ النَّارِ
binajātin minan nār
With salvation from the Fire
46
وَارْزُقْنِيْ شُكْرَكَ وَعَافِيَتَكَ
war-zuqnī shukraka wa`āfiyatak
And grant me gratitude for You and Your well-being
47
وَفَضْلَكَ وَكَرَامَتَكَ أَبَدًا مَا أَبْقَيْتَنِيْ
wafaḍlaka wakarāmataka abadan mā abqaytanī
And Your grace and Your honor, forever, as long as You keep me alive
48
اَللّٰهُمَّ بِنُوْرِكَ اهْتَدَيْتُ
allāhumma binūrikahtadayt
O Allah, by Your light I am guided
49
وَبِفَضْلِكَ اسْتَغْنَيْتُ
wabifaḍlikastaghnayt
And by Your grace I am enriched
50
وَبِنِعْمَتِكَ أَصْبَحْتُ وَأَمْسَيْتُ
wabini`matika aṣbaḥtu wa-amsayt
And by Your blessing I enter the morning and the evening
51
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أُشْهِدُكَ وَكَفىٰ بِكَ شَهِيدًا
allāhumma innī ush-hiduka wakafā bika shahīdā
O Allah, I call You to witness, and sufficient are You as a witness
52
وَأُشْهِدُ مَلائِكَتَكَ وَأَنْبِيَاءَكَ وَرُسُلَكَ
wa-ush-hidu malā-ikataka wa-anbiyā-aka warusulak
And I call to witness Your angels, Your prophets, and Your messengers
53
وَحَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ وَسُكَّانَ سَمَاوَاتِكَ وَأَرْضِكَ
waḥamalata `ar-shika wasukkāna samāwātika wa-ar-ḍik
And the bearers of Your Throne, and the inhabitants of Your heavens and earth
54
وَجَمِيعَ خَلْقِكَ
wajamī`a khalqik
And all Your creation
55
بِأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَاإِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
bi-annaka antallāhu la-ilāha illā ant
That You are Allah, there is no god but You
56
وَحْدَكَ لَاشَرِيكَ لَكَ
waḥdaka lāsharīka lak
Alone, without any partner
57
وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ
wa-anna muḥammadan ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa-ālihi `abduka warasūluk
And that Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, is Your servant and messenger
58
وَأَنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
wa-annaka `alā kulli shay-in qadīr
And that You have power over all things
59
تُحْيِيْ وَتُمِيتُ وَتُمِيتُ وَتُحْيِيْ
tuḥyī watumītu watumītu watuḥyī
You give life and cause death, and cause death and give life
60
وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ الْجَنَّةَ حَقٌّ
wa-ash-hadu annal jannata ḥaqq
And I bear witness that Paradise is true
61
وَأَنَّ النَّارَ حَقٌّ
wa-annan nāra ḥaqq
And that Hellfire is true
62
وَالنُّشُورَ حَقٌّ
wan nushūra ḥaqq
And resurrection is true
63
وَالسَّاعَةَ آتِيَةٌ لَارَيْبَ فِيهَا
was sā`ata-ātiyatun lārayba fīhā
And the Hour is coming, there is no doubt about it
64
وَأَنَّ اللّٰهَ يَبْعَثُ مَنْ فِيْ الْقُبُورِ
wa-annallāha yab`athu man fil qubūr
And that Allah will resurrect those in the graves
65
وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِيْ طَالِبٍ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَقًّا حَقًّا
wa-ash-hadu anna `aliyyabna abī ṭālibin amīrul mu-minīna ḥaqqan ḥaqqā
And I bear witness that Ali ibn Abi Talib is truly the Commander of the Faithful, truly, truly
66
وَأَنَّ الْأَئِمَّةَ مِنْ وُلْدِهِ هُمُ الْأَئِمَّةُ الْهُدَاةُ الْمَهْدِيُّونَ
wa-annal a-immata min wuldihi humul a-immatul hudātul mahdiyyūn
And that the Imams from his descendants are the guiding Imams, the guided ones
67
غَيْرُ الضَّالِّينَ وَلَا الْمُضِلِّينَ
ghayruḍ ḍāllīna walal muḍillīn
Neither astray nor leading others astray
68
وَأَنَّهُمْ أَوْلِيَاؤُكَ الْمُصْطَفَوْنَ
wa-annahum awliya-ukal muṣṭafawn
And that they are Your chosen guardians
69
وَحِزْبُكَ الْغَالِبُونَ
waḥizbukal ghālibūn
And Your victorious party
70
وَصِفْوَتُكَ وَخِيَرَتُكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ
waṣifwatuka wakhiyaratuka min khalqik
And Your chosen ones and Your best from Your creation
71
وَنُجَبَاؤُكَ الَّذِيْنَ انْتَجَبْتَهُمْ لِدِينِكَ
wanujaba-ukal ladhīnantajabtahum lidīnik
And Your distinguished ones whom You have selected for Your religion
72
وَاخْتَصَصْتَهُمْ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ
wakhtaṣaṣtahum min khalqik
And have chosen them from Your creation
73
وَاصْطَفَيْتَهُمْ عَلَى عِبَادِكَ
waṣṭafaytahum `alā `ibādik
And selected them over Your servants
74
وَجَعَلْتَهُمْ حُجَّةً عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ
waja`altahum ḥujjatan `alal `ālamīn
And made them a proof for the worlds
75
صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَالسَّلامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
ṣalawātuka `alayhim was salāmu waraḥmatullāhi wabarakātuh
Your blessings upon them, and peace, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings
76
اَللّٰهُمَّ اكْتُبْ لِيْ هٰذِهِ الشَّهَادَةَ عِنْدَكَ
allāhummaktub lī hādhihish shahādata `indak
O Allah, record this testimony for me with You
77
حَتّىٰ تُلَقِّنَنِيهَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَأَنْتَ عَنِّيْ رَاضٍ
ḥattā tulaqqinanīhā yawmal qiyāmati wa-anta `annī rāḍ
So that You may remind me of it on the Day of Resurrection, while You are pleased with me
78
إِنَّكَ عَلَى مَا تَشَاءُ قَدِيرٌ
innaka `alā mā tashā-u qadīr
Verily, You have power over whatever You will
79
اَللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا يَصْعَدُ أَوَّلُهُ وَلَا يَنْفَدُ آخِرُهُ
allāhumma lakal ḥamdu ḥamdan yaṣ`adu awwaluhu walā yanfadu-ākhiruh
O Allah, all praise be to You, praise whose beginning ascends but whose end never depletes
80
اَللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا تَضَعُ لَكَ السَّمَاءُ كَنَفَيْهَا
allāhumma lakal ḥamdu ḥamdan taḍa`u lakas samā-u kanafayhā
O Allah, to You is all praise, praise for which the heavens lower their sides
81
وَتُسَبِّحُ لَكَ الْأَرْضُ وَمَنْ عَلَيْهَا
watusabbiḥu lakal ar-ḍu waman `alayhā
And the earth and all upon it glorify You
82
اَللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا سَرْمَدًا أَبَدًا
allāhumma lakal ḥamdu ḥamdan sar-madan abadā
O Allah, to You is all praise, eternal and everlasting praise
83
لَاانْقِطَاعَ لَهُ وَلَا نَفَادَ
lanqiṭā`a lahu walā nafād
With no interruption and no end
84
وَلَكَ يَنْبَغِيْ وَ إِلَيْكَ يَنْتَهِيْ
walaka yanbaghī wa ilayka yantahī
And it is fitting for You and ends with You
85
فِيَّ وَعَلَيَّ وَلَدَيَّ
fiyya wa`alayya waladayy
In me and upon me and with me
86
وَمَعِيْ وَقَبْلِيْ وَبَعْدِيْ
wama`ī waqablī waba`dī
And with me and before me and after me
87
وَأَمَامِيْ وَفَوْقِيْ وَتَحْتِيْ
wa-amāmī wafawqī wataḥtī
And in front of me and above me and beneath me
88
وَإِذَا مِتُّ وَبَقِيتُ فَرْدًا وَحِيدًا ثُمَّ فَنِيتُ
wa-idhā mittu wabaqītu far-dan waḥīdan thumma fanīt
And when I die and remain alone and isolated, then perish
89
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ إِذَا نُشِرْتُ وَبُعِثْتُ
walakal ḥamdu idhā nushir-tu wabu`itht
And to You is all praise when I am resurrected and raised
90
يَا مَوْلاَيَ
yā mawlāy
O my Master
91
اَللّٰهُمَّ وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ بِجَمِيعِ مَحَامِدِكَ كُلِّهَا
allāhumma walakal ḥamdu walakash shukru bijamī`i maḥāmidika kullihā
O Allah, to You is all praise and to You is all thanks with all of Your praises
92
عَلىٰ جَمِيعِ نَعْمَائِكَ كُلِّهَا
`alā jamī`i na`mā-ika kullihā
For all of Your blessings
93
حَتَّىٰ يَنْتَهِيَ الْحَمْدُ إِلَى مَا تُحِبُّ رَبَّنَا وَتَرْضىٰ
ḥattā yantahiyal ḥamdu ilā mā tuḥibbu rabbanā watar-ḍā
Until praise reaches what You love, our Lord, and what pleases You
94
اَللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى كُلِّ أَكْلَةٍ وَشَرْبَةٍ
allāhumma lakal ḥamdu `alā kulli aklatin washar-bah
O Allah, to You is all praise for every morsel and drink
95
وَبَطْشَةٍ وَقَبْضَةٍ
wabaṭshatin waqabḍah
And grasp and grip
96
وَبَسْطَةٍ وَفِيْ كُلِّ مَوْضِعِ شَعْرَةٍ
wabasṭatin wafī kulli mawḍi`i sha`rah
And extension and in every place of a hair
97
اَللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا خَالِدًا مَعَ خُلُودِكَ
allāhumma lakal ḥamdu ḥamdan khālidan ma`a khulūdik
O Allah, to You is all praise, praise lasting with Your eternity
98
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا لَامُنْتَهىٰ لَهُ دُوْنَ عِلْمِكَ
walakal ḥamdu ḥamdan lāmuntahā lahu dūna `ilmik
And to You is all praise, praise that has no end short of Your knowledge
99
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا لَاأَمَدَ لَهُ دُوْنَ مَشِيَّتِكَ
walakal ḥamdu ḥamdan lā-amada lahu dūna mashiyyatik
And to You is all praise, praise that has no limit short of Your will
100
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا لَا أَجْرَ لِقَائِلِهِ إِلَّا رِضَاكَ
walakal ḥamdu ḥamdan lā ajra liqā-ilihi illā riḍāk
And to You is all praise, praise for which its speaker has no reward except Your pleasure
101
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى حِلْمِكَ بَعْدَ عِلْمِكَ
walakal ḥamdu `alā ḥilmika ba`da `ilmik
And to You is all praise for Your forbearance after Your knowledge
102
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى عَفْوِكَ بَعْدَ قُدْرَتِكَ
walakal ḥamdu `alā `afwika ba`da qudratik
And to You is all praise for Your pardon after Your power
103
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ بَاعِثَ الْحَمْدِ
walakal ḥamdu bā`ithal ḥamd
And to You is all praise, O Initiator of praise
104
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَارِثَ الْحَمْدِ
walakal ḥamdu wārithal ḥamd
And to You is all praise, O Inheritor of praise
105
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ بَدِيعَ الْحَمْدِ
walakal ḥamdu badī`al ḥamd
And to You is all praise, O Originator of praise
106
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ مُنْتَهَى الْحَمْدِ
walakal ḥamdu muntahal ḥamd
And to You is all praise, O Ultimate End of praise
107
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ مُبْتَدِعَ الْحَمْدِ
walakal ḥamdu mubtadi`al ḥamd
And to You is all praise, O Innovator of praise
108
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ مُشْتَرِيَ الْحَمْدِ
walakal ḥamdu mushtariyal ḥamd
And to You is all praise, O Purchaser of praise
109
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَلِيَّ الْحَمْدِ
walakal ḥamdu waliyyal ḥamd
And to You is all praise, O Guardian of praise
110
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ قَدِيمَ الْحَمْدِ
walakal ḥamdu qadīmal ḥamd
And to You is all praise, O Ancient of praise
111
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ صَادِقَ الْوَعْدِ وَفِيَّ الْعَهْدِ
walakal ḥamdu ṣādiqal wa`di wafiyyal `ahd
And to You is all praise, O True to the Promise, Faithful to the Covenant
112
عَزِيزَ الْجُنْدِ قَائِمَ الْمَجْدِ
`azīzal jundi qā-imal majd
Mighty in armies, Perpetual in glory
113
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ رَفِيعَ الدَّرَجَاتِ مُجِيبَ الدَّعَوَاتِ
walakal ḥamdu rafī`ad darajāti mujībad da`awāt
And to You is all praise, O Raiser of ranks, Answerer of prayers
114
مُنْزِلَ الْآيَاتِ مِنْ فَوْقِ سَبْعِ سَمَاوَاتٍ
munzilal-āyāti min fawqi sab`i samāwāt
Revealer of verses from above the seven heavens
115
عَظِيمَ الْبَرَكَاتِ
`aẓīmal barakāt
Great in blessings
116
مُخْرِجَ النُّورِ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ
mukhrijan nūri minaẓ ẓulumāt
Bringer of light from darkness
117
وَمُخْرِجَ مَنْ فِيْ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ
wamukhrija man fiẓ ẓulumāti ilan nūr
And Bringer of those in darkness to light
118
مُبَدِّلَ السَّيِّئاتِ حَسَنَاتٍ
mubaddilas sayyi-āti ḥasanāt
Transformer of evil deeds into good deeds
119
وَجَاعِلَ الْحَسَنَاتِ دَرَجَاتٍ
wajā`ilal ḥasanāti darajāt
And Maker of good deeds into degrees of elevation
120
اَللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ غَافِرَ الذَّنْبِ وَقَابِلَ التَّوْبِ
allāhumma lakal ḥamdu ghāfiradh dhanbi waqābilat tawb
O Allah, to You is all praise, O Forgiver of sin, Acceptor of repentance
121
شَدِيدَ الْعِقَابِ ذَا الطَّوْلِ
shadīdal `iqābi dhaṭ ṭawl
Severe in punishment, Possessor of bounty
122
لَاإِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ إِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ
la-ilāha illā anta ilaykal maṣīr
There is no god but You, to You is the final return
123
اَللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فِيْ اللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشىٰ
allāhumma lakal ḥamdu fil layli idhā yaghshā
O Allah, to You is all praise in the night when it covers
124
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ فِيْ النَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلّىٰ
walakal ḥamdu fin nahāri idhā tajallā
And to You is all praise in the day when it appears
125
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ فِيْ الْآخِرَةِ وَالْأُولىٰ
walakal ḥamdu fil-ākhirati wal-ūlā
And to You is all praise in the Hereafter and the first life
126
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ كُلِّ نَجْمٍ وَمَلَكٍ فِيْ السَّمَاءِ
walakal ḥamdu `adada kulli najmin wamalakin fis samā
And to You is all praise to the number of every star and angel in the sky
127
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ الثَّرَىٰ وَالْحَصىٰ وَالنَّوَىٰ
walakal ḥamdu `adadath tharā walḥaṣā wan nawā
And to You is all praise to the number of soil particles, pebbles and date seeds
128
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ مَا فِيْ جَوِّ السَّمَاءِ
walakal ḥamdu `adada mā fī jawwis samā
And to You is all praise to the number of what is in the atmosphere of the sky
129
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ مَا فِيْ جَوْفِ الْأَرْضِ
walakal ḥamdu `adada mā fī jawfil ar-ḍ
And to You is all praise to the number of what is in the depths of the earth
130
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ أَوْزَانِ مِيَاهِ الْبِحَارِ
walakal ḥamdu `adada awzāni miyāhil biḥār
And to You is all praise to the weight of the waters of the seas
131
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ أَوْرَاقِ الْأَشْجَارِ
walakal ḥamdu `adada awrāqil ashjār
And to You is all praise to the number of the leaves of the trees
132
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ مَا عَلَى وَجْهِ الْأَرْضِ
walakal ḥamdu `adada mā `alā wajhil ar-ḍ
And to You is all praise to the number of what is on the face of the earth
133
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ مَا أَحْصىٰ كِتَابُكَ
walakal ḥamdu `adada mā aḥṣā kitābuk
And to You is all praise to the number of what Your Book has enumerated
134
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ مَا أَحَاطَ بِهِ عِلْمُكَ
walakal ḥamdu `adada mā aḥāṭa bihi `ilmuk
And to You is all praise to the number of what Your knowledge encompasses
135
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ الْإِنْسِ وَالْجِنِّ
walakal ḥamdu `adadal insi waljinn
And to You is all praise to the number of humans and jinn
136
وَالْهَوٓامِّ وَالطَّيْرِ وَالْبَهَائِمِ وَالسِّبَاعِ
walhawāmmi waṭ ṭayri walbahā-imi was sibā`
And insects, birds, beasts, and predators
137
حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا
ḥamdan kathīran ṭayyibā
Abundant, good praise
138
مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ كَمَا تُحِبُّ رَبَّنَا وَتَرْضىٰ
mubārakan fīhi kamā tuḥibbu rabbanā watar-ḍā
Blessed as You love, our Lord, and as pleases You
139
وَكَمَا يَنْبَغِيْ لِكَرَمِ وَجْهِكَ وَعِزِّ جَلالِكَ
wakamā yanbaghī likarami wajhika wa`izzi jalālik
And as befits the generosity of Your face and the might of Your majesty
Then, repeat the following ten times:
140
لَاإِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَاشَرِيكَ لَهُ
la-ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lāsharīka lah
There is no god but Allah, alone with no partner
141
لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ
lahul mulku walahul ḥamd
To Him belongs the kingdom and to Him belongs all praise
142
وَهُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ
wahuwal laṭīful khabīr
And He is the Subtle, the All-Aware
Then, repeat the following ten times:
143
لَاإِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَاشَرِيكَ لَهُ
la-ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lāsharīka lah
There is no god but Allah, alone with no partner
144
لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ
lahul mulku walahul ḥamd
To Him belongs the kingdom and to Him belongs all praise
145
يُحْيِيْ وَيُمِيتُ، وَيُمِيتُ وَيُحْيِيْ وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَايَمُوتُ
yuḥyī wayumīt, wayumītu wayuḥyī wahuwa ḥayyun lāyamūt
He gives life and causes death, and causes death and gives life, and He is Living and never dies
146
بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
biyadihil khayru wahuwa `alā kulli shay-in qadīr
In His hand is all good and He has power over all things
Then, repeat the following ten times:
147
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللّٰهَ الَّذِيْ لَاإِلٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
astaghfirullāhal ladhī la-ilāha illā huwal ḥayyul qayyūmu wa-atūbu ilayh
I seek forgiveness from Allah, besides whom there is no god, the Living, the Self-Subsisting, and I turn to Him in repentance
Then, repeat the following ten times:
148
يَا اَللَّهُ يَا اَللَّهُ
yā allāhu yā allāh
O Allah, O Allah
Then, repeat the following ten times:
149
يَا رَحْمَانُ يَا رَحْمَانُ
yā raḥmānu yā raḥmān
O Most Gracious, O Most Gracious
Then, repeat the following ten times:
150
يَا رَحِيمُ يَا رَحِيمُ
yā raḥīmu yā raḥīm
O Most Merciful, O Most Merciful
Then, repeat the following ten times:
151
يَا بَدِيعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ
yā badī`as samāwāti wal ar-ḍ
O Originator of the heavens and the earth
Then, repeat the following ten times:
152
يَا ذَا الْجَلالِ وَ الْإِكْرَامِ
yā dhal jalāli wal ikrām
O Lord of Majesty and Honor
Then, repeat the following ten times:
153
يَا حَنَّانُ يَا مَنَّانُ
yā ḥannānu yā mannān
O Most Compassionate, O Most Beneficent
Then, repeat the following ten times:
154
يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ
yā ḥayyu yā qayyūm
O Living, O Self-Subsisting
Then, repeat the following ten times:
155
يَا حَيُّ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
yā ḥayyu lā ilāha illā ant
O Living, there is no god but You
Then, repeat the following ten times:
156
يَا اَللَّهُ يَا لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
yā allāhu yā lā ilāha illā ant
O Allah, O There is no god but You
Then, repeat the following ten times:
157
بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Then, repeat the following ten times:
158
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
Then, repeat the following ten times:
159
اَللَّهُمَّ افْعَلْ بِيْ مَا أَنْتَ أَهْلُهُ
allāhummaf`al bī mā anta ahluh
O Allah, do with me as You are worthy of doing
Then, repeat the following ten times:
160
آمِينَ آمِينَ
āmīna-āmīn
Amen, Amen
Then, repeat the following ten times:
161
قُل هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
qul huwallāhu aḥad
Say: He is Allah, the One
You should then say the following:
162
اَللّٰهُمَّ اصْنَعْ بِيْ مَا أَنْتَ أَهْلُهُ
allāhummaṣna` bī mā anta ahluh
O Allah, treat me as You are worthy of treating
163
وَلَا تَصْنَعْ بِيْ مَا أَنَا أَهْلُهُ
walā taṣna` bī mā ana ahluh
And do not treat me as I am worthy of being treated
164
فَإِنَّكَ أَهْلُ التَّقْوىٰ وَأَهْلُ الْمَغْفِرَةِ
fa-innaka ahlut taqwā wa-ahlul maghfirah
For You are worthy of piety and worthy of forgiveness
165
وَأَنَا أَهْلُ الذُّنُوبِ وَالْخَطَايَا
wa-ana ahludh dhunūbi walkhaṭāyā
And I am worthy of sins and mistakes
166
فَارْحَمْنِيْ يَا مَوْلاَيَ
far-ḥamnī yā mawlāy
So have mercy on me, O my Master
167
وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
wa-anta ar-ḥamur rāḥimīn
And You are the Most Merciful of the merciful
Then repeat the following ten times:
168
لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
lā ḥawla walā quwwata illā billāh
There is no power or strength except with Allah
169
تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى الْحَيِّ الَّذِيْ لَايَمُوتُ
tawakkaltu `alal ḥayyil ladhī lāyamūt
I rely on the Living who never dies
170
وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِيْ لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا
walḥamdu lillāhil ladhī lam yattakhidh waladā
And all praise be to Allah who has not taken a son
171
وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَرِيكٌ فِيْ الْمُلْكِ
walam yakun lahu sharīkun fil mulk
And has no partner in His dominion
172
وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ وَ لِيٌّ مِنَ الذُّلِّ
walam yakun lahu wa liyyun minadh dhull
And has no protector out of weakness
173
وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيرًا
wakabbir-hu takbīrā
And magnify Him with glorification
