بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَللَّهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ
allāhumma innī as-aluk
O Allah, I ask of You
2
وَ لَمْ يُسْئَلْ مِثْلُكَ
wa lam yus-al mithluk
And none like You has ever been asked
3
اَنْتَ مَوْضِعُ مَسْئَلَةِ السَّائِلِيْنَ
anta mawḍi`u mas-alatis sā-ilīn
You are the place of request for those who ask
4
وَ مُنْتَهَى رَغْبَةِ الرَّاغِبِيْنَ
wa muntahā raghbatir rāghibīn
And the ultimate goal of those who desire
5
اَدْعُوْكَ وَلَمْ يُدْعَ مِثْلُكَ
ad`ūka walam yud`a mithluk
I call upon You and none like You has ever been called
6
وَ اَرْغَبُ اِلَيْكَ
wa ar-ghabu ilayk
And I turn to You with desire
7
وَ لَمْ يُرْغَبْ اِلَى مِثْلِكَ
wa lam yur-ghab ilā mithlik
And none like You has ever been turned to with desire
8
اَنْتَ مُجِيْبُ دَعْوَةِ الْمُضْطَرِّيْنَ
anta mujību da`watil muḍṭarrīn
You are the One who answers the call of the distressed
9
وَ اَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
wa ar-ḥamur rāḥimīn
And the Most Merciful of all who show mercy
10
اَسْأَلُكَ بِأَفْضَلِ الْمَسَائِلِ
as-aluka bi-afḍalil masā-il
I ask You by the best of requests
11
وَ اَنْجَحِهَا وَ اَعْظَمِهَا
wa anjaḥihā wa a`ẓamihā
And the most successful and greatest of them
12
يَا اَللَّهُ يَا رَحْمٰنُ يَا رَحِيْمُ
yā allāhu yā raḥmānu yā raḥīm
O Allah, O Most Beneficent, O Most Merciful
13
وَ بِأَسْمَائِكَ الْحُسْنَى
wa bi-asmā-ikal ḥusnā
And by Your beautiful names
14
وَ اَمْثَالِكَ الْعُلْيَا
wa amthālikal `ulyā
And Your highest examples
15
وَ نِعْمَتِكَ الَّتِيْ لَا تُحْصَى
wa ni`matikal latī lā tuḥṣā
And Your countless blessings
16
وَ بِأَكْرَمِ اَسْمَائِكَ
wa bi-akrami asmā-ik
And by Your most noble names
17
وَ اَحَبِّهَا اِلَيْكَ
wa aḥabbihā ilayk
And the most beloved of them to You
18
وَ اَقْرَبِهَا مِنْكَ وَسِيْلَةً
wa aqrabihā minka wasīlah
And the closest of them to You as a means
19
وَ اَشْرَفِهَا عِنْدَكَ مَنْزِلَةً
wa ashrafihā `indaka manzilah
And the most honorable of them in rank with You
20
وَ اَجْزَلِهَا لَدَيْكَ ثَوَابًا
wa ajzalihā ladayka thawābā
And the most abundant in reward with You
21
وَ اَسْرَعِهَا فِيْ الْاُمُوْرِ اِجَابَةً
wa asra`ihā fil umūri ijābah
And the quickest of them in answering matters
22
وَ بِاسْمِكَ الْمَكْنُوْنِ الْاَكْبَرِ
wa bismikal maknūnil akbar
And by Your hidden, greatest name
23
اَلْاَعَزِّ الْاَجَلِّ الْاَعْظَمِ الْاَكْرَمِ
al a`azzil ajallil a`ẓamil akram
The most honored, the most glorious, the most magnificent, the most generous
24
اَلَّذِيْ تُحِبُّهُ وَ تَهْوَاهُ
al ladhī tuḥibbuhu wa tahwāh
Which You love and desire
25
وَ تَرْضَى بِهِ عَمَّنْ دَعَاكَ
wa tar-ḍā bihi `amman da`āk
And with which You are pleased when someone calls upon You
26
فَاسْتَجَبْتَ لَهُ دُعَائَهُ
fastajabta lahu du`ā-ah
And You respond to their supplication
27
وَ حَقٌّ عَلَيْكَ اَنْ لَا تَحْرِمَ سَائِلَكَ
wa ḥaqqun `alayka an lā taḥrima sā-ilak
And it is a right upon You not to deprive the one who asks You
28
وَ لَا تَرُدَّهُ
wa lā taruddah
And not to turn them away
29
وَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ فِيْ التَّوْرَاتِ وَ الْاِنْجِيْلِ
wa bikullismin huwa laka fit tawrāti wal injīl
And by every name that belongs to You in the Torah and the Gospel
30
وَ الزَّبُوْرِ وَ الْفُرْقَانِ الْعَظِيْمِ
waz zabūri wal fur-qānil `aẓīm
And the Psalms and the Great Furqan (Quran)
31
وَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ دَعَاكَ بِهِ حَمَلَةُ عَرْشِكَ وَ مَلَائِكَتُكَ
wa bikullismin da`āka bihi ḥamalatu `ar-shika wa malā-ikatuk
And by every name by which the bearers of Your Throne and Your angels have called You
32
وَ اَنْبِيَاؤُكَ وَ رُسُلُكَ
wa anbiya-uka wa rusuluk
And Your prophets and messengers
33
وَ اَهْلُ طَاعَتِكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ
wa ahlu ṭā`atika min khalqik
And the obedient ones among Your creation
34
اَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
an tuṣalliya `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
That You send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
35
وَ اَنْ تُعَجِّلَ فَرَجَ وَلِيِّكَ
wa an tu`ajjila faraja waliyyik
And that You hasten the relief of Your representative (Wali)
36
وَ تُعَجِّلَ خِزْيَ اَعْدَائِهِ
wa tu`ajjila khizya a`dā-ih
And hasten the disgrace of his enemies
37
وَ اَنْ تَفْعَلَ بِيْ
wa an taf`ala bī
And that You do for me
