بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ لَمْ يُشْهِدْ أَحَدًا
al ḥamdu lillāhil ladhī lam yush-hid aḥadā
All praise is for Allah who did not have any witness
2
حِيْنَ فَطَرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ
ḥīna faṭaras samāwāti wal-ar-ḍ
When He created the heavens and the earth
3
وَلَا اتَّخَذَ مُعِينًا حِيْنَ بَرَأَ النَّسَمَات
walattakhadha mu`īnan ḥīna bara-an nasamāt
And did not take any helper when He created the souls
4
لَمْ يُشَارَكْ فِيْ الْإِلٰهِيَّةِ
lam yushārak fil ilāhiyyah
He has no partner in His divinity
5
وَلَمْ يُظَاهَرْ فِيْ الْوَحْدَانِيَّةِ
walam yuẓāhar fil waḥdāniyyah
And has no associate in His oneness
6
كَلَّتِ الْأَلْسُنُ عَنْ غَايَةِ صِفَتِهِ
kallatil alsunu `an ghāyati ṣifatih
Tongues fail to describe His attributes
7
وَالْعُقُولُ عَنْ كُنْهِ مَعْرِفَتِهِ
wal`uqūlu `an kunhi ma`rifatih
And intellects are incapable of comprehending His essence
8
وَتَوَاضَعَتِ الْجَبَابِرَةُ لِهَيْبَتِهِ
watawāḍa`atil jabābiratu lihaybatih
The tyrants humble themselves before His majesty
9
وَعَنَتِ الْوُجُوهُ لِخَشْيَتِهِ
wa`anatil wujūhu likhashyatih
And all faces bow down in fear of Him
10
وَانْقَادَ كُلُّ عَظِيمٍ لِعَظَمَتِهِ
wanqāda kullu `aẓīmin li`aẓamatih
Every great one submits to His greatness
11
فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ مُتَوَاتِرًا مُتَّسِقًا
falakal ḥamdu mutawātiran muttasiqā
So to You belongs praise, continuous and consistent
12
وَمُتَوَالِيًا مُسْتَوْسِقًا
wamutawāliyan mustawsiqā
Successive and interconnected
13
وَصَلَوَاتُهُ عَلٰى رَسُولِهِ أَبَدًا
waṣalawātuhu `alā rasūlihi abadā
And His blessings be upon His Messenger forever
14
وَسَلامُهُ دَائِمًا سَرْمَدًا
wasalāmuhu dā-iman sar-madā
And His peace be eternal and everlasting
15
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْ أَوَّلَ يَوْمِيْ هٰذَا صَلاحًا
allāhummaj`al awwala yawmī hādhā ṣalāḥā
O Allah, make the beginning of this day righteous
16
وَأَوْسَطَهُ فَلاحًا
wa-awsaṭahu falāḥā
Its middle successful
17
وَ آخِرَهُ نَجَاحًا
wa ākhirahu najāḥā
And its end prosperous
18
وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ يَوْمٍ أَوَّلُهُ فَزَعٌ
wa-a`ūdhu bika min yawmin awwaluhu faza`
And I seek refuge in You from a day whose beginning is fear
19
وَأَوْسَطُهُ جَزَعٌ
wa-awsaṭuhu jaza`
Whose middle is anxiety
20
وَ آخِرُهُ وَجَعٌ
wa ākhiruhu waja`
And whose end is pain
21
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِكُلِّ نَذْرٍ نَذَرْتُهُ
allāhumma innī astaghfiruka likulli nadhrin nadhar-tuh
O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness for every vow I have made
22
وَكُلِّ وَعْدٍ وَعَدْتُهُ
wakulli wa`din wa`adtuh
And every promise I have given
23
وَكُلِّ عَهْدٍ عَاهَدْتُهُ
wakulli `ahdin `āhadtuh
And every covenant I have entered into
24
ثُمَّ لَمْ أَفِ بِهِ
thumma lam afi bih
Then failed to fulfill it
25
وَأَسْأَلُكَ فِيْ مَظَالِمِ عِبَادِكَ عِنْدِيْ
wa-as-aluka fī maẓālimi `ibādika `indī
And I ask You regarding the rights of Your servants that are upon me
26
فَأَيُّمَا عَبْدٍ مِنْ عَبِيدِكَ
fa-ayyumā `abdin min `abīdik
So whichever of Your male servants
27
أَوْ أَمَةٍ مِنْ إِمَائِكَ
aw amatin min imā-ik
Or female servants
28
كَانَتْ لَهُ قِبَلِيْ مَظْلِمَةٌ ظَلَمْتُهَا إِيَّاهُ
kānat lahu qibalī maẓlimatun ẓalamtuhā iyyāh
Has a right over me that I have wronged them of
29
فِيْ نَفْسِهِ أَوْ فِيْ عِرْضِهِ
fī nafsihi aw fī `ir-ḍih
Concerning their self or their honor
30
أَوْ فِيْ مَالِهِ أَوْ فِيْ أَهْلِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ
aw fī mālihi aw fī ahlihi wawaladih
Or their wealth or their family and children
31
أَوْ غِيبَةٌ اغْتَبْتُهُ بِهَا
aw ghībatunightabtuhu bihā
Or backbiting by which I slandered them
32
أَوْ تَحَامُلٌ عَلَيْهِ بِمَيْلٍ أَوْ هَوَىً
aw taḥāmulun `alayhi bimaylin aw hawā
Or prejudice against them through bias or desire
33
أَوْ أَنَفَةٍ أَوْ حَمِيَّةٍ
aw anafatin aw ḥamiyyah
Or pride or partisanship
34
أَوْ رِيَاءٍ أَوْ عَصَبِيَّةٍ
aw riyā-in aw `aṣabiyyah
Or ostentation or bigotry
35
غَائِبًا كَانَ أَوْ شَاهِدًا
ghā-iban kāna aw shāhidā
Whether they were absent or present
36
وَحَيًّا كَانَ أَوْ مَيِّتًا
waḥayyan kāna aw mayyitā
And whether they were alive or dead
37
فَقَصُرَتْ يَدِيْ
faqaṣurat yadī
And my hand falls short
38
وَضَاقَ وُسْعِيْ عَنْ رَدِّهَا إِلَيْهِ
waḍāqa wus`ī `an raddihā ilayh
And my ability is insufficient to return it to them
39
وَالتَّحَلُّلِ مِنْهُ
wat taḥalluli minh
And to be absolved of it
40
فَأَسْأَلُكَ يَا مَنْ يَمْلِكُ الْحَاجَاتِ
fa-as-aluka yā man yamlikul ḥājāt
So I ask You, O One who possesses all needs
41
وَهِيَ مُسْتَجِيبَةٌ لِمَشِيَّتِهِ
wahiya mustajībatun limashiyyatih
Which respond to His will
42
وَمُسْرِعَةٌ إِلٰى إِرَادَتِهِ
wamusri`atun ilā irādatih
And hasten to His intention
43
أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
an tuṣalliya `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
To send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
44
وَأَنْ تُرْضِيَهُ عَنِّيْ بِمَا شِئْتَ
wa-an tur-ḍiyahu `annī bimā shi-t
And to satisfy them with me in whatever way You please
45
وَتَهَبَ لِيْ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ رَحْمَةً
watahaba lī min `indika raḥmah
And to grant me mercy from Your presence
46
إِنَّهُ لَاتَنْقُصُكَ الْمَغْفِرَةُ
innahu lātanquṣukal maghfirah
Indeed, forgiveness does not diminish You
47
وَلَا تَضُرُّكَ الْمَوْهِبَةُ
walā taḍurrukal mawhibah
And giving does not harm You
48
يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
yā ar-ḥamar rāḥimīn
O Most Merciful of those who show mercy
49
اَللّٰهُمَّ أَوْلِنِيْ فِيْ كُلِّ يَوْمِ اثْنَيْنِ
allāhumma awlinī fī kulli yawmithnayn
O Allah, grant me on every Monday
50
نِعْمَتَيْنِ مِنْكَ ثِنْتَيْنِ
ni`matayni minka thintayn
Two blessings from You
51
سَعَادَةً فِيْ أَوَّلِهِ بِطَاعَتِكَ
sa`ādatan fī awwalihi biṭā`atik
Happiness at its beginning through Your obedience
52
وَنِعْمَةً فِيْ آخِرِهِ بِمَغْفِرَتِكَ
wani`matan fī-ākhirihi bimaghfiratik
And blessing at its end through Your forgiveness
53
يَا مَنْ هُوَ الْإِلٰهُ
yā man huwal ilāh
O You who is the God
54
وَلَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ سِوَاهُ
walā yaghfirudh dhunūba siwāh
And none forgives sins except You
