اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى الشَّجَرَةِ النَّبَوِيَّةِ
as salāmu `alash shajaratin nabawiyyah
Peace be upon the Prophetic tree
2
وَالدَّوْحَةِ الْهَاشِمِيَّةِ الْمُضِيئَةِ
wad dawḥatil hāshimiyyatil muḍī-ah
And the illuminated Hashimite branch
3
اَلْمُثْمِرَةِ بِالنُّبُوَّةِ
al muthmirati binnubuwwah
Bearing the fruits of Prophethood
4
اَلْمُونِقَةِ بِالْإِمَامَةِ
al mūniqati bil imāmah
Flourishing with Imamate
5
وَعَلَى ضَجِيعَيْكَ آدَمَ وَنُوحٍ
wa`alā ḍajī`ayka-ādama wanūḥ
And upon your companions Adam and Noah
6
عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلامُ
`alayhimas salām
Peace be upon them
7
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلٰى أَهْلِ بَيْتِكَ
as salāmu `alayka wa`alā ahli baytik
Peace be upon you and your household
8
اَلطَّيِّبِينَ الطَّاهِرِينَ
aṭ ṭayyibīnaṭ ṭāhirīn
The pure and the purified
9
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى الْمَلَائِكَةِ الْمُحْدِقِينَ بِكَ
as salāmu `alayka wa`alal malā-ikatil muḥdiqīna bik
Peace be upon you and upon the angels surrounding you
10
وَالْحَافِّينَ بِقَبْرِكَ
walḥāffīna biqabrik
And encircling your grave
11
يَا مَوْلاَيَ يَا أَمِيرَالْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
yā mawlāya yā amīralmu-minīn
O my master, O Commander of the Faithful
12
هَذَا يَوْمُ الْأَحَدِ
hadhā yawmul aḥad
This is Sunday
13
وَهُوَ يَوْمُكَ وَبِاسْمِكَ
wahuwa yawmuka wabismik
And it is your day and in your name
14
وَأَنَا ضَيْفُكَ فِيهِ وَجَارُكَ
wa-ana ḍayfuka fīhi wajāruk
I am your guest on this day and your neighbor
15
فَأَضِفْنِيْ يَا مَوْلاَيَ وَأَجِرْنِي
fa-aḍifnī yā mawlāya wa-ajir-nī
So host me, O my master, and protect me
16
فَإِنَّكَ كَرِيمٌ تُحِبُّ الضِّيَافَةَ
fa-innaka karīmun tuḥibbuḍ ḍiyāfah
For you are generous and love hospitality
17
وَمَأْمُورٌ بِالْإِجَارَةِ
wama-mūrun bil ijārah
And you are commanded to grant protection
18
فَافْعَلْ مَا رَغِبْتُ إِلَيْكَ فِيهِ
faf`al mā raghibtu ilayka fīh
So do what I desire from you
19
وَرَجَوْتُهُ مِنْكَ
warajawtuhu mink
And hope for from you
20
بِمَنْزِلَتِكَ وَ آلِ بَيْتِكَ عِنْدَاللَّهِ
bimanzilatika wa āli baytika `indallāh
By your status and your household's status with Allah
21
وَمَنْزِلَتِهِ عِنْدَكُمْ
wamanzilatihi `indakum
And His status with you all
22
وَبِحَقِّ ابْنِ عَمِّكَ رَسُوْلِ اللَّهِ
wabiḥaqqibni `ammika rasūlillāh
And by the right of your cousin, the Messenger of Allah
23
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأٓلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ
ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa-ālihi wasallam
May Allah's blessings be upon him and his family
24
وَعَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
wa`alayhim ajma`īn
And upon all of them
25
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكِ يَا مُمْتَحَنَةُ
as salāmu `alayki yā mumtaḥanah
Peace be upon you, O the one who was tested
26
اِمْتَحَنَكِ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَكِ
imtaḥanakil ladhī khalaqak
The One who created you tested you
27
فَوَجَدَكِ لِمَا امْتَحَنَكِ صَابِرَةً
fawajadaki limamtaḥanaki ṣābirah
And found you patient in what He tested you with
28
أَنَا لَكِ مُصَدِّقٌ صَابِرٌ عَلٰى مَا أَتىٰ بِهِ أَبُوكِ وَوَصِيُّهُ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمَا
anā laki muṣaddiqun ṣābirun `alā mā atā bihi abūki wawaṣiyyuhu ṣalawātullāhi `alayhimā
I am a believer in you, patient upon what your father and his successor brought, may Allah's blessings be upon them both
29
وَأَنَا أَسْأَلُكِ إِنْ كُنْتُ صَدَّقْتُكِ
wa-ana as-aluki in kuntu ṣaddaqtuk
And I ask you, if I have truly believed in you
30
إِلَّا أَلْحَقْتِنِيْ بِتَصْدِيقِيْ لَهُمَا
illā alḥaqtinī bitaṣdīqī lahumā
To join me with my belief in them both
31
لِتُسَرَّ نَفْسِي
litusarra nafsī
So that my soul may be pleased
32
فَاشْهَدِيْ أَنِّيْ ظَاهِرٌ بِوِلايَتِكِ
fash-hadī annī ẓāhirun biwilāyatik
Bear witness that I openly declare loyalty to you
33
وَوِلايَةِ آلِ بَيْتِكِ
wawilāyati-āli baytik
And loyalty to your household
34
صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
ṣalawātullāhi `alayhim ajma`īn
May Allah's blessings be upon them all
