بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ كَلِمَةِ الْمُعْتَصِمِيْنَ
bismillāhi kalimatil mu`taṣimīn
In the name of Allah, the word of those who seek protection
2
وَمَقَالَةِ الْمُتَحَرِّزِينَ
wamaqālatil mutaḥarrizīn
And the statement of those who guard themselves
3
وَأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ تَعَالَى مِنْ جَوْرِ الْجَائِرِينَ
wa-a`ūdhu billāhi ta`ālā min jawril jā-irīn
And I seek refuge in Allah from the oppression of the oppressors
4
وَكَيْدِ الْحَاسِدِيْنَ
wakaydil ḥāsidīn
And from the plots of the envious
5
وَبَغْيِ الظَّالِمِيْنَ
wabaghyiẓ ẓālimīn
And from the transgression of the wrongdoers
6
وَأَحْمَدُهُ فَوْقَ حَمْدِ الْحَامِدِيْنَ
wa-aḥmaduhu fawqa ḥamdil ḥāmidīn
And I praise Him above all praises of those who praise
7
اَللّٰهُمَّ أَنْتَ الْوَاحِدُ بِلَا شَرِيكٍ
allāhumma antal wāḥidu bilā sharīk
O Allah, You are the One without any partner
8
وَالْمَلِكُ بِلَا تَمْلِيكٍ
walmaliku bilā tamlīk
And the King without being possessed
9
لَاتُضَادُّ فِيْ حُكْمِكَ
lātuḍāddu fī ḥukmik
You are not opposed in Your judgment
10
وَلَا تُنَازَعُ فِيْ مُلْكِكَ
walā tunāza`u fī mulkik
And not disputed in Your dominion
11
أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ
as-aluka an tuṣalliya `alā muḥammad
I ask You to send blessings upon Muhammad
12
عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُولِكَ
`abdika warasūlik
Your servant and Your messenger
13
وَأَنْ تُوْزِعَنِيْ مِنْ شُكْرِ نُعْمَاكَ
wa-an tūzi`anī min shukri nu`māk
And to inspire me to thank You for Your blessings
14
مَا تَبْلُغُ بِىْ غَايَةَ رِضَاكَ
mā tablughu bī ghāyata riḍāk
In a way that reaches the extent of Your pleasure
15
وَأَنْ تُعِينَنِيْ عَلٰى طَاعَتِكَ
wa-an tu`īnanī `alā ṭā`atik
And to help me in Your obedience
16
وَلُزُومِ عِبَادَتِكَ
waluzūmi `ibādatik
And to adhere to Your worship
17
وَاسْتِحْقَاقِ مَثُوبَتِكَ
wastiḥqāqi mathūbatik
And to deserve Your reward
18
بِلُطْفِ عِنَايَتِكَ
biluṭfi `ināyatik
Through Your gentle care
19
وَتَرْحَمَنِيْ بِصَدِّي عَنْ مَعَاصِيكَ مَا أَحْيَيْتَنِي
watar-ḥamanī biṣaddī `an ma`āṣīka mā aḥyaytanī
And to have mercy on me by keeping me away from Your disobedience as long as You keep me alive
20
وَتُوَفِّقَنِيْ لِمَا يَنْفَعُنِيْ مَا أَبْقَيْتَنِي
watuwaffiqanī limā yanfa`unī mā abqaytanī
And to grant me success in what benefits me as long as You keep me existing
21
وَأَنْ تَشْرَحَ بِكِتَابِكَ صَدْرِيْ
wa-an tashraḥa bikitābika ṣadrī
And to expand my chest through Your Book
22
وَتَحُطَّ بِتِلاوَتِهِ وِزْرِيْ
wataḥuṭṭa bitilāwatihi wizrī
And to remove my burden through its recitation
23
وَتَمْنَحَنِيْ السَّلَامَةَ فِيْ دِينِيْ وَنَفْسِي
watamnaḥanis salāmata fī dīnī wanafsī
And to grant me safety in my religion and myself
24
وَلَا تُوحِشَ بِىْ أَهْلَ أُنْسِي
walā tūḥisha bī ahla unsī
And not to alienate those who are familiar to me
25
وَتُتِمَّ إِحْسَانَكَ فِيْمَا بَقِيَ مِنْ عُمْرِيْ
watutimma iḥsānaka fīmā baqiya min `umrī
And to complete Your favor in what remains of my life
26
كَمَا أَحْسَنْتَ فِيْمَا مَضَىٰ مِنْهُ
kamā aḥsanta fīmā maḍā minh
As You have favored me in what has passed of it
27
يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
yā ar-ḥamar rāḥimīn
O Most Merciful of the merciful ones
