بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad

مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya mawlāy
My Master, My Master
2
اَنْتَ الْمَوْلٰى وَ اَنَا الْعَبْدُ
antal mawlā wa anal `abd
You are the Master and I am the servant
3
وَ هَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْعَبْدَ اِلَّا الْمَوْلٰى
wa hal yar-ḥamul `abda illal mawlā
And who shows mercy to the servant except the Master?
4
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya mawlāy
My Master, My Master
5
اَنْتَ الْعَزِيْزُ وَ اَنَا الذَّلِيْلُ
antal `azīzu wa anadh dhalīl
You are the Mighty and I am the humble
6
وَ هَلْ يَرْحَمُ الذَّلِيْلَ اِلَّا الْعَزِيْزُ
wa hal yar-ḥamudh dhalīla illal `azīz
And who shows mercy to the humble except the Mighty?
7
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya mawlāy
My Master, My Master
8
اَنْتَ الْخَالِقُ وَ اَنَا الْمَخْلُوقُ
antal khāliqu wa anal makhlūq
You are the Creator and I am the created
9
وَ هَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْمَخْلُوقَ اِلَّا الْخَالِقُ
wa hal yar-ḥamul makhlūqa illal khāliq
And who shows mercy to the created except the Creator?
10
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya mawlāy
My Master, My Master
11
اَنْتَ الْمُعْطِيْ وَ اَنَا السَّائِلُ
antal mu`ṭī wa anas sā-il
You are the Giver and I am the beggar
12
وَ هَلْ يَرْحَمُ السَّائِلَ اِلَّا الْمُعْطِيْ
wa hal yar-ḥamus sā-ila illal mu`ṭī
And who shows mercy to the beggar except the Giver?
13
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya mawlāy
My Master, My Master
14
اَنْتَ الْمُغِيْثُ وَ اَنَا الْمُسْتَغِيْثُ
antal mughīthu wa anal mustaghīth
You are the Helper and I am the one seeking help
15
وَ هَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْمُسْتَغِيْثَ اِلَّا الْمُغِيْثُ
wa hal yar-ḥamul mustaghītha illal mughīth
And who shows mercy to the one seeking help except the Helper?
16
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya mawlāy
My Master, My Master
17
اَنْتَ الْبَاقِيْ وَ اَنَا الْفَانِيْ
antal bāqī wa anal fānī
You are the Everlasting and I am the perishing
18
وَ هَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْفَانِيَ اِلَّا الْبَاقِيْ
wa hal yar-ḥamul fāniya illal bāqī
And who shows mercy to the perishing except the Everlasting?
19
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya mawlāy
My Master, My Master
20
اَنْتَ الدَّائِمُ وَ اَنَا الزَّائِلُ
antad dā-imu wa anaz zā-il
You are the Eternal and I am the transient
21
وَ هَلْ يَرْحَمُ الزَّآئِلَ اِلَّا الدَّآئِمُ
wa hal yar-ḥamuz zā-ila illad dā-im
And who shows mercy to the transient except the Eternal?
22
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya mawlāy
My Master, My Master
23
اَنْتَ الْحَيُّ وَ اَنَا الْمَيِّتُ
antal ḥayyu wa anal mayyit
You are the Living and I am the dead
24
وَ هَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْمَيِّتَ اِلَّا الْحَيُّ
wa hal yar-ḥamul mayyita illal ḥayy
And who shows mercy to the dead except the Living?
25
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya mawlāy
My Master, My Master
26
اَنْتَ الْقَوِيُّ وَ اَنَا الضَّعِيْفُ
antal qawiyyu wa anaḍ ḍa`īf
You are the Strong and I am the weak
27
وَ هَلْ يَرْحَمُ الضَّعِيْفَ اِلَّا الْقَوِيُّ
wa hal yar-ḥamuḍ ḍa`īfa illal qawiyy
And who shows mercy to the weak except the Strong?
28
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya mawlāy
My Master, My Master
29
اَنْتَ الْغَنِيُّ وَ اَنَا الْفَقِيْرُ
antal ghaniyyu wa anal faqīr
You are the Rich and I am the poor
30
وَ هَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْفَقِيْرَ اِلَّا الْغَنِيُّ
wa hal yar-ḥamul faqīra illal ghaniyy
And who shows mercy to the poor except the Rich?
31
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya mawlāy
My Master, My Master
32
اَنْتَ الْكَبِيْرُ وَ اَنَا الصَّغِيْرُ
antal kabīru wa anaṣ ṣaghīr
You are the Great and I am the small
33
وَ هَلْ يَرْحَمُ الصَّغِيْرَ اِلَّا الْكَبِيْرُ
wa hal yar-ḥamuṣ ṣaghīra illal kabīr
And who shows mercy to the small except the Great?
34
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya mawlāy
My Master, My Master
35
اَنْتَ الْمَالِكُ وَ اَنَا الْمَمْلُوكَ
antal māliku wa anal mamlūk
You are the Owner and I am the owned
36
وَ هَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْمَمْلُوكَ اِلَّا الْمَالِكُ
wa hal yar-ḥamul mamlūka illal mālik
And who shows mercy to the owned except the Owner?
