بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
أَيُّهَا الْخَلْقُ الْمُطِيعُ
ayyuhal khalqul muṭī`
O obedient creation
2
اَلدَّائِبُ السَّرِيعُ
ad dā-ibus sarī`
The persistent, the swift
3
اَلْمُتَرَدِّدُ فِيْ مَنَازِلِ التَّقْدِيرِ
al mutaraddidu fī manāzilit taqdīr
Moving through the stations of decree
4
اَلْمُتَصَرِّفُ فِيْ فَلَكِ التَّدْبِيرِ
al mutaṣarrifu fī falakit tadbīr
Revolving in the orbit of management
5
آمَنْتُ بِمَنْ نَوَّرَ بِكَ الظُّلَمَ
āmantu biman nawwara bikaẓ ẓulam
I believe in the One who illuminated darkness through you
6
وَأَوْضَحَ بِكَ الْبُهَمَ
wa-awḍaḥa bikal buham
And clarified obscurities through you
7
وَجَعَلَكَ آيَةً مِنْ آيَاتِ مُلْكِهِ
waja`alaka-āyatan min-āyāti mulkih
And made you a sign among the signs of His kingdom
8
وَعَلاَمَةً مِنْ عَلاَمَاتِ سُلْطَانِهِ
wa`alāmatan min `alāmāti sulṭānih
And a symbol among the symbols of His authority
9
وَامْتَهَنَكَ بِالزِّيَادَةِ وَالنُّقْصَانِ
wamtahanaka bizziyādati wan nuqṣān
And subjected you to increase and decrease
10
وَالطُّلُوعِ وَالْأُفُولِ
waṭ ṭulū`i wal-ufūl
And rising and setting
11
وَالْاِنَارَةِ وَالْكُسُوفِ
wal-inārati walkusūf
And illumination and eclipse
12
فِيْ كُلِّ ذٰلِكَ أَنْتَ لَهُ مُطِيعٌ
fī kulli dhālika anta lahu muṭī`
In all of this, you are obedient to Him
13
وَإِلَى إِرَادَتِهِ سَرِيعٌ
wa-ilā irādatihi sarī`
And quick to respond to His will
14
سُبْحَانَهُ مَا أَعْجَبَ مَا دَبَّرَ فِيْ أَمْرِكَ
subḥānahu mā a`jaba mā dabbara fī amrik
Glory be to Him, how amazing is what He has ordained in your affair
15
وَأَلْطَفَ مَا صَنَعَ فِيْ شَأْنِكَ
wa-alṭafa mā ṣana`a fī sha-nik
And how subtle is what He has designed in your state
16
جَعَلَكَ مِفْتَاحَ شَهْرٍ حَادِثٍ لِأَمْرٍ حَادِثٍ
ja`alaka miftāḥa shahrin ḥādithin li-amrin ḥādith
He has made you the key to a new month for a new matter
17
فَأَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ رَبِّيْ وَرَبَّكَ
fa-as-alullāha rabbī warabbak
So I ask Allah, my Lord and your Lord
18
وَخَالِقِيْ وَخَالِقَكَ
wakhāliqī wakhāliqak
My Creator and your Creator
19
وَمُقَدِّرِيْ وَمُقَدِّرَكَ
wamuqaddirī wamuqaddirak
My Ordainer and your Ordainer
20
وَمُصَوِّرِيْ وَمُصَوِّرَكَ
wamuṣawwirī wamuṣawwirak
My Fashioner and your Fashioner
21
أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
an yuṣalliya `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
To send blessings upon Muhammad and his family
22
وَأَنْ يَجْعَلَكَ هِلاَلَ بَرَكَةٍ لَا تَمْحَقُهَا الْاَيَّامُ
wa-an yaj`alaka hilāla barakatin lā tamḥaquhal ayyām
And to make you a crescent of blessing that the days cannot erase
23
وَطَهَارَةٍ لَا تُدَنِّسُهَا الْآثَامُ
waṭahāratin lā tudannisuhal-āthām
And of purity that sins cannot defile
24
هِلاَلَ أَمْنٍ مِنَ الْآفَاتِ
hilāla amnin minal-āfāt
A crescent of safety from calamities
25
وَسَلاَمَةٍ مِنَ السَّيِّئَاتِ
wasalāmatin minas sayyi-āt
And security from evil deeds
26
هِلاَلَ سَعْدٍ لَا نَحْسَ فِيهِ
hilāla sa`din lā naḥsa fīh
A crescent of good fortune with no misfortune in it
27
وَيُمْنٍ لَا نَكَدَ مَعَهُ
wayumnin lā nakada ma`ah
And of prosperity with no trouble accompanying it
28
وَيُسْرٍ لَا يُمَازِجُهُ عُسْرٌ
wayusrin lā yumāzijuhu `usr
And of ease unmixed with hardship
29
وَخَيْرٍ لَا يَشُوبُهُ شَرٌّ
wakhayrin lā yashūbuhu sharr
And of goodness untainted by evil
30
هِلاَلَ أَمْنٍ وَإِيمَانٍ
hilāla amnin wa-īmān
A crescent of security and faith
31
وَنِعْمَةٍ وَإِحْسَانٍ
wani`matin wa-iḥsān
And blessing and benevolence
32
وَسَلاَمَةٍ وَإِسْلاَمٍ
wasalāmatin wa-islām
And peace and submission
33
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and his family
34
وَاجْعَلْنَا مِنْ أَرْضَى مَنْ طَلَعَ عَلَيْهِ
waj`alnā min ar-ḍā man ṭala`a `alayh
And make us among the most pleased of those upon whom it rises
35
وَأَزْكَى مَنْ نَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ
wa-azkā man naẓara ilayh
And the purest of those who look at it
36
وَأَسْعَدَ مَنْ تَعَبَّدَ لَكَ فِيهِ
wa-as`ada man ta`abbada laka fīh
And the happiest of those who worship You in it
37
وَوَفِّقْنَا فِيهِ لِلتَّوْبَةِ
wawaffiqnā fīhi littawbah
And grant us success in it for repentance
38
وَاعْصِمْنَا فِيهِ مِنَ الْحَوْبَةِ
wa`ṣimnā fīhi minal ḥawbah
And protect us in it from sin
39
وَاحْفَظْنَا فِيهِ مِنْ مُبَاشَرَةِ مَعْصِيَتِكَ
waḥfaẓnā fīhi min mubāsharati ma`ṣiyatik
And preserve us in it from committing disobedience to You
40
وَأَوْزِعْنَا فِيهِ شُكْرَ نِعْمَتِكَ
wa-awzi`nā fīhi shukra ni`matik
And inspire us in it to be thankful for Your blessings
41
وَأَلْبِسْنَا فِيهِ جُنَنَ الْعَافِيَةِ
wa-albisnā fīhi junanal `āfiyah
And clothe us in it with the shield of well-being
42
وَأَتْمِمْ عَلَيْنَا بِاسْتِكْمَالِ طَاعَتِكَ فِيهِ الْمِنَّةَ
wa-atmim `alaynā bistikmāli ṭā`atika fīhil minnah
And complete Your favor upon us by perfecting our obedience to You in it
43
إِنَّكَ الْمَنَّانُ الْحَمِيدُ
innakal mannānul ḥamīd
Indeed, You are the Beneficent, the Praiseworthy
44
وَصَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ الطَّاهِرِينَ
waṣallallāhu `alā muḥammadin wa ālihiṭ ṭayyibīnaṭ ṭāhirīn
And may Allah bless Muhammad and his pure, purified family
