بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَللَّهُمَّ وَحَمَلَةُ عَرْشِكَ الَّذِيْنَ لَا يَفْتُرُونَ مِنْ تَسْبِيحِكَ
allāhumma waḥamalatu `ar-shikal ladhīna lā yafturūna min tasbīḥik
O Allah, and the bearers of Your Throne who never tire from glorifying You
2
وَلَا يَسْـأَمُـونَ مِنْ تَقْـدِيْسِكَ
walā yas-amūna min taqdīsik
And never weary from sanctifying You
3
وَلَا يَسْتَحسِرُونَ مِنْ عِبَادَتِكَ
walā yastaḥsirūna min `ibādatik
And never become exhausted from worshipping You
4
وَلَا يُؤْثِرُونَ التَّقْصِيرَ عَلَى الْجِدِّ فِيْ أَمْرِكَ
walā yu-thirūnat taqṣīra `alal jiddi fī amrik
And never prefer negligence over diligence in Your command
5
وَلَا يَغْفُلُونَ عَنِ الْوَلَهِ إلَيْكَ
walā yaghfulūna `anil walahi layk
And never become heedless of their devotion to You
6
وَإِسْرَافِيْلُ صَاحِبُ الصُّوْرِ، اَلشَّاخِصُ الَّذِيْ يَنْتَظِرُ
wa-isrāfīlu ṣāḥibuṣ ṣūr, ash shākhiṣul ladhī yantaẓir
And Israfil, the keeper of the Trumpet, who vigilantly awaits
7
مِنْكَ الْإِذْنَ وَحُلُوْلَ الَامْرِ، فَيُنَبِّهُ بِالنَّفْخَةِ
minkal idhna waḥulūlal amr, fayunabbihu binnafkhah
Your permission and command, who will awaken with a blast
8
صَرْعَى رَهَائِنِ الْقُبُورِ وَمِيْكَائِيْلُ ذُوْ الْجَاهِ عِنْدَكَ
ṣar-`ā rahā-inil qubūri wamīkā-īlu dhul jāhi `indak
Those lying in their graves, and Mikael, who has high status with You
9
وَالْمَكَانِ الرَّفِيعِ مِنْ طَاعَتِكَ
walmakānir rafī`i min ṭā`atik
And an elevated position due to his obedience to You
10
وَجِبْريلُ الَامِيْنُ عَلَى وَحْيِكَ
wajibrilul āmīnu `alā waḥyik
And Gabriel, the trustworthy bearer of Your revelation
11
اَلْمُطَاعُ فِيْ أَهْلِ سَمَاوَاتِكَ
al muṭā`u fī ahli samāwātik
Who is obeyed by the inhabitants of Your heavens
12
اَلْمَكِينُ لَدَيْكَ، الْمُقَرَّبُ عِنْدَكَ
al makīnu ladayk,al muqarrabu `indak
Who holds a secure position with You, and is close to You
13
وَالرُّوْحُ الَّذِيْ هُوَ عَلَى مَلَائِكَةِ الْحُجُبِ
war rūḥul ladhī huwa `alā malā-ikatil ḥujub
And the Spirit who is over the angels of the veils
14
وَالرُّوْحُ الَّذِيْ هُوَ مِنْ أَمْرِكَ
war rūḥul ladhī huwa min amrik
And the Spirit who is from Your command
15
فَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ وَعَلَى الْمَلَائِكَةِ
faṣalli `alayhim wa`alal malā-ikah
So send blessings upon them and upon the angels
16
اَلَّذِيْنَ مِنْ دُونِهِمْ مِنْ سُكَّانِ سَمَاوَاتِكَ
al ladhīna min dūnihim min sukkāni samāwātik
Who are below them among the dwellers of Your heavens
17
وَأَهْلِ الْأَمَانَةِ عَلَى رِسَالَاتِكَ
wa-ahlil amānati `alā risālātik
And the bearers of trust for Your messages
18
وَالَّذِيْنَ لَا تَدْخُلُهُمْ سَأْمَةٌ مِنْ دُؤُوْب
walladhīna lā tadkhuluhum sa-matun min du-ūb
And those who are never affected by weariness from constant work
19
وَلَا أَعْيَاءٌ مِنْ لُغُوب وَلَا فُتُورٌ
walā a`yā-un min lughūb walā futūr
Nor by fatigue, exhaustion, or weakness
20
وَلَا تَشْغَلُهُمْ عَنْ تَسْبِيحِكَ الشَّهَوَاتُ
walā tashghaluhum `an tasbīḥikash shahawāt
And whom desires do not distract from glorifying You
21
وَلَا يَقْطَعُهُمْ عَنْ تَعْظِيمِكَ سَهْوُ الْغَفَلاَتِ
walā yaqṭa`uhum `an ta`ẓīmika sahwul ghafalāt
And whom the forgetfulness of negligence does not cut off from exalting You
22
اَلْخُشَّعُ الَابْصَارِ فَلَا يَرُومُوْنَ النَّظَرَ إلَيْكَ
al khushha`ul abṣāri falā yarūmūnan naẓara layk
Those with lowered gazes who do not attempt to look at You
23
اَلنَّوَاكِسُ الَاذْقَانِ الَّذِيْنَ قَدْ طَالَتْ رَغْبَتُهُمْ فِيمَا لَدَيْكَ
an nawākisul adhqānil ladhīna qad ṭālat raghbatuhum fīmā ladayk
Those with heads bowed whose desire for what is with You has grown long
24
اَلْمُسْتَهْتِرُونَ بِذِكْرِ آلاَئِكَ
al mustahtirūna bidhikri-ālā-ik
Those who are enchanted by the mention of Your blessings
25
وَالْمُتَوَاضِعُونَ دُوْنَ عَظَمَتِكَ وَجَلاَلِ كِبْرِيَائِكَ
walmutawāḍi`ūna dūna `aẓamatika wajalāli kibriyā-ik
And those who humble themselves before Your greatness and the majesty of Your grandeur
26
وَالَّذِيْنَ يَقُولُونَ إِذَا نَظَرُوْا إِلَى جَهَنَّمَ تَزْفِرُ عَلَى أَهْلِ مَعْصِيَتِكَ
walladhīna yaqūlūna idhā naẓarū ilā jahannama tazfiru `alā ahli ma`ṣiyatik
And those who say, when they look at Hell roaring over the people who disobeyed You
27
سُبْحَانَكَ مَا عَبَدْنَاكَ حَقَّ عِبَادَتِكَ
subḥānaka mā `abadnāka ḥaqqa `ibādatik
"Glory be to You, we have not worshipped You as You deserve to be worshipped"
28
فَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ وَعَلَى الرَّوْحَانِيِّينَ مِنْ مَلَائِكَتِكَ
faṣalli `alayhim wa`alar rawḥāniyyīna min malā-ikatik
So send blessings upon them and upon the spiritual ones among Your angels
29
وَأَهْلِ الزُّلْفَةِ عِنْدَكَ، وَحُمَّالِ الْغَيْبِ إِلَى رُسُلِكَ
wa-ahliz zulfati `indak, waḥummālil ghaybi ilā rusulik
And those close to You, and the bearers of the unseen to Your messengers
30
وَالْمُؤْتَمَنِيْنَ عَلَى وَحْيِكَ وَقَبَائِلِ الْمَلَائِكَةِ الَّذِيْنَ اخْتَصَصْتَهُمْ لِنَفْسِكَ
walmu-tamanīna `alā waḥyika waqabā-ilil malā-ikatil ladhīnakhtaṣaṣtahum linafsik
And those entrusted with Your revelation, and the tribes of angels whom You have chosen for Yourself
31
وَأَغْنَيْتَهُمْ عَنِ الطَّعَامِ وَالشَّرَابِ بِتَقْدِيسِكَ
wa-aghnaytahum `aniṭ ṭa`āmi wash sharābi bitaqdīsik
And whom You have freed from the need for food and drink through Your sanctification
32
وَأَسْكَنْتَهُمْ بُطُونَ أَطْبَاقِ سَمَاوَاتِكَ
wa-askantahum buṭūna aṭbāqi samāwātik
And whom You have settled in the interiors of the layers of Your heavens
33
وَالَّذِيْنَ عَلَى أَرْجَائِهَا إِذَا نَزَلَ الَامْرُ بِتَمَامِ وَعْدِكَ
walladhīna `alā ar-jā-ihā idhā nazalal amru bitamāmi wa`dik
And those who are at its borders when the command descends with the fulfillment of Your promise
34
وَخُزَّانِ الْمَطَرِ وَزَوَاجِرِ السَّحَابِ
wakhuzzānil maṭari wazawājiris saḥāb
And the keepers of rain and the drivers of clouds
35
وَالَّذِيْ بِصَوْتِ زَجْرِهِ يُسْمَعُ زَجَلُ الرُّعُودِ
walladhī biṣawti zajrihi yusma`u zajalur ru`ūd
And the one whose driving sound causes the rumble of thunder to be heard
36
وَإِذَا سَبَحَتْ بِهِ حَفِيفَةُ السَّحَابِ الْتَمَعَتْ صَوَاعِقُ الْبُرُوقِ
wa-idhā sabaḥat bihi ḥafīfatus saḥābil tama`at ṣawā`iqul burūq
And when the clouds rustle with his glorification, the thunderbolts of lightning flash
37
وَمُشَيِّعِيْ الثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ وَالْهَابِطِينَ مَعَ قَطْرِ الْمَطَرِ إِذَا نَزَلَ
wamushayyi`ith thalji walbaradi walhābiṭīna ma`a qaṭril maṭari idhā nazal
And the escorts of snow and hail, and those who descend with the drops of rain when it falls
38
وَالْقُوَّامِ عَلَى خَزَائِنِ الرِّيَاحِ
walquwwāmi `alā khazā-inir riyāḥ
And those in charge of the treasuries of the winds
39
وَالْمُوَكَّلِينَ بِالْجِبَالِ فَلَا تَزُولُ
walmuwakkalīna bil jibāli falā tazūl
And those assigned to the mountains so they do not move
40
وَالَّذِيْنَ عَرَّفْتَهُمْ مَثَاقِيلَ الْمِيَاهِ
walladhīna `arraftahum mathāqīlal miyāh
And those whom You have taught the weights of waters
41
وَكَيْلَ مَا تَحْوِيهِ لَوَاعِجُ الَامْطَارِ وَعَوَالِجُهَا
wakayla mā taḥwīhi lawā`ijul amṭāri wa`awālijuhā
And the measure of what the bursts and floods of rain contain
42
وَرُسُلِكَ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ إِلَى أَهْلِ الَارْضِ بِمَكْرُوهِ مَا يَنْزِلُ مِنَ الْبَلاءِ
warusulika minal malā-ikati ilā ahlil ar-ḍi bimakrūhi mā yanzilu minal balā
And Your messengers from the angels to the people of earth with the unpleasant afflictions that descend
43
وَمَحْبُوبِ الرَّخَاءِ، وَالسَّفَرَةِ الْكِرَامِ الْبَرَرَةِ
wamaḥbūbir rakhā-i, was safaratil kirāmil bararah
And the pleasant ease, and the noble, righteous scribes
44
وَالْحَفَظَةِ الْكِرَامِ الْكَاتِبِينَ، وَمَلَكِ الْمَوْتِ وَأَعْوَانِهِ
walḥafaẓatil kirāmil kātibīn, wamalakil mawti wa-a`wānih
And the noble recording guardians, and the Angel of Death and his assistants
45
وَمُنْكَر وَنَكِير، وَرُومَانَ فَتَّانِ الْقُبُورِ
wamunkar wanakīr, warūmāna fattānil qubūr
And Munkar and Nakir, and Ruman, the examiner of graves
46
وَالطَّائِفِينَ بِالْبَيْتِ الْمَعْمُورِ، وَمَالِك
waṭ ṭā-ifīna bil baytil ma`mūr, wamālik
And those who circle around the Frequented House, and Malik
47
وَالْخَزَنَةِ، وَرِضْوَانَ، وَسَدَنَةِ الْجِنَانِ
walkhazanah, wariḍwān, wasadanatil jinān
And the keepers, and Ridwan, and the guardians of Paradise
48
وَالَّذِيْنَ لَا يَعْصُونَ اللَّهَ مَا أَمَرَهُمْ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُؤْمَرُونَ
walladhīna lā ya`ṣūnallāha mā amarahum wayaf`alūna mā yu-marūn
And those who do not disobey Allah in what He commands them and do what they are commanded
49
وَالَّذِيْنَ يَقُولُونَ سَلاَمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ بِمَا صَبَرْتُمْ فَنِعْمَ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ
walladhīna yaqūlūna salāmun `alaykum bimā ṣabar-tum fani`ma `uqbad dār
And those who say, "Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured. How excellent is the final home"
50
وَالزَّبَانِيَةِ الَّذِيْنَ إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ خُذُوهُ فَغُلُّوهُ
waz zabāniyatil ladhīna idhā qīla lahum khudhūhu faghullūh
And the guardians of Hell who, when told, "Seize him and shackle him"
51
ثُمَّ الْجَحِيمَ صَلُّوهُ، اِبْتَدَرُوهُ سِرَاعًا وَلَمْ يُنْظِرُوهُ
thummal jaḥīma ṣallūh, ibtadarūhu sirā`an walam yunẓirūh
"Then burn him in Hellfire," they rush to him quickly and do not give him respite
52
وَمَنْ أَوْهَمْنَا ذِكْرَهُ، وَلَمْ نَعْلَمْ مَكَانَهُ مِنْكَ
waman awhamnā dhikrah, walam na`lam makānahu mink
And those whom we have not mentioned, and whose position with You we do not know
53
وَبِأَيِّ أَمْرٍ وَكَّلْتَهُ وَسُكَّانَ الْهَوَاءِ وَالَارْضِ وَالْمَاءِ
wabi-ayyi amrin wakkaltahu wasukkānal hawā-i wālar-ḍi walmā
And what task You have assigned them, and the dwellers of air, earth, and water
54
وَمَنْ مِنْهُمْ عَلَى الْخَلْقِ فَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ
waman minhum `alal khalqi faṣalli `alayhim
And those among them who are over creation, so send blessings upon them
55
يَوْمَ تَأْتِيْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَعَهَا سَائِقٌ وَشَهِيدٌ
yawma ta-tī kullu nafsin ma`ahā sā-iqun washahīd
On the Day when every soul will come with a driver and a witness
56
وَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ صَلاَةً تَزِيدُهُمْ كَرَامَةً عَلَى كَرَامَتِهِمْ
waṣalli `alayhim ṣalātan tazīduhum karāmatan `alā karāmatihim
And send blessings upon them - blessings that increase their honor upon their honor
57
وَطَهَارَةً عَلَى طَهَارَتِهِمْ
waṭahāratan `alā ṭahāratihim
And purity upon their purity
58
اَللّٰهُمَّ وَإِذَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى مَلَائِكَتِكَ وَرُسُلِكَ
allāhumma wa-idhā ṣallayta `alā malā-ikatika warusulik
O Allah, when You send blessings upon Your angels and messengers
59
وَبَلَّغْتَهُمْ صَلاَتَنَا عَلَيْهِمْ، فَصَلِّ عَلَيْنَا
waballaghtahum ṣalātanā `alayhim, faṣalli `alaynā
And convey to them our blessings upon them, then send blessings upon us
60
بِمَا فَتَحْتَ لَنَا مِنْ حُسْنِ الْقَوْلِ فِيهِمْ إِنَّكَ جَوَادٌ كَرِيمٌ
bimā fataḥta lanā min ḥusnil qawli fīhim innaka jawādun karīm
For what You have opened for us of good words regarding them. Indeed, You are Generous, Noble
