بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِيْ مَنَّ عَلَيْنَا
walḥamdu lillāhil ladhī manna `alaynā
And praise be to Allah who favored us
2
بِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيِّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
bimuḥammadin nabiyyihi ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa-ālih
With Muhammad, His Prophet, peace be upon him and his family
3
دُوْنَ الْاُمَمِ الْمَاضِيَةِ وَالْقُـرُونِ السَّالِفَةِ
dūnal umamil māḍiyati walqurūnis sālifah
Above the past nations and bygone generations
4
بِقُدْرَتِهِ الَّتِيْ لَا تَعْجِزُ عَنْ شَيْءٍ وَ إِنْ عَظُمَ
biqudratihil latī lā ta`jizu `an shay-in wa in `aẓum
By His power that is never incapable of anything, however great
5
وَ لَا يَفُوتُهَا شَيْءٌ وَ إِنْ لَطُفَ
wa lā yafūtuhā shay-un wa in laṭuf
And nothing escapes it, however subtle
6
فَخَتَمَ بِنَا عَلَى جَمِيْعِ مَنْ ذَرَأَ
fakhatama binā `alā jamī`i man dhara-a
Thus He sealed with us over all those He created
7
وَ جَعَلَنَا شُهَدَاءَ عَلَى مَنْ جَحَدَ
wa ja`alanā shuhadā-a `alā man jaḥad
And made us witnesses over those who denied
8
وَكَثَّرَنَا بِمَنِّهِ عَلَى مَنْ قَلَّ
wakathharanā bimannihi `alā man qall
And multiplied us by His favor over those who were few
9
اَللَّهُمَّ فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ أَمِينِكَ عَلَى وَحْيِكَ
allāhumma faṣalli `alā muḥammadin amīnika `alā waḥyik
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad, Your trustee over Your revelation
10
وَنَجِيبِكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ
wanajībika min khalqik
And Your chosen one from Your creation
11
وَ صَفِيِّكَ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ
wa ṣafiyyika min `ibādik
And Your pure one from among Your servants
12
إِمَامِ الرَّحْمَةِ وَقَائِدِ الْخَيْرِ
imāmir raḥmati waqā-idil khayr
The leader of mercy and the guide to goodness
13
وَ مِفْتَاحِ الْبَرَكَةِ
wa miftāḥil barakah
And the key to blessing
14
كَمَا نَصَبَ لِأَمْرِكَ نَفْسَهُ
kamā naṣaba li-amrika nafsah
Just as he dedicated himself to Your command
15
وَ عَرَّضَ فِيكَ لِلْمَكْرُوهِ بَدَنَهُ
wa `arraḍa fīka lilmakrūhi badanah
And exposed his body to hardship for Your sake
16
وَكَاشَفَ فِيْ الدُّعَاءِ إِلَيْكَ حَامَّتَهُ
wakāshafa fid du`ā-i ilayka ḥāmmatah
And confronted his close relatives in calling to You
17
وَحَارَبَ فِيْ رِضَاكَ أُسْرَتَهُ
waḥāraba fī riḍāka usratah
And fought his family for Your pleasure
18
وَقَطَعَ فِيْ إِحْيَاءِ دِينِكَ رَحِمَهُ
waqaṭa`a fī iḥyā-i dīnika raḥimah
And severed his family ties to revive Your religion
19
وَ أَقْصَى الْأَدْنَيْنَ عَلَى جُحُودِهِمْ
wa aqṣal adnayna `alā juḥūdihim
And distanced the nearest ones for their denial
20
وَ قَرَّبَ الْأَقْصَيْنَ عَلَى اسْتِجَابَتِهِمْ لَكَ
wa qarrabal aqṣayna `alastijābatihim lak
And brought closer the distant ones for their response to You
21
وَ وَالَى فِيكَ الْأَبْعَدِيْنَ
wa wālā fīkal ab`adīn
And befriended the remote ones for Your sake
22
وَ عَادَى فِيكَ الْأَقْرَبِينَ
wa `ādā fīkal aqrabīn
And opposed the closest ones for Your sake
23
وَ أَدْأَبَ نَفْسَهُ فِيْ تَبْلِيغِ رِسَالَتِكَ
wa ad-aba nafsahu fī tablīghi risālatik
And exhausted himself in delivering Your message
24
وَأَتْعَبَهَا بِالدُّعَاءِ إِلَى مِلَّتِكَ
wa-at`abahā bid du`ā-i ilā millatik
And tired himself by calling to Your path
25
وَ شَغَلَهَا بِالنُّصْحِ لِأَهْلِ دَعْوَتِكَ
wa shaghalahā binnuṣ-ḥi li-ahli da`watik
And occupied himself with advising the people of Your call
26
وَهَاجَرَ إِلَى بِلَادِ الْغُرْبَةِ
wahājara ilā bilādil ghur-bah
And migrated to the land of exile
27
وَمَحَلِّ النَّأْيِ عَنْ مَوْطِنِ رَحْلِهِ
wamaḥallin na-yi `an mawṭini raḥlih
And the place distant from the home of his residence
28
وَمَوْضِعِ رِجْلِهِ وَ مَسْقَطِ رَأْسِهِ
wamawḍi`i rijlihi wa masqaṭi ra-sih
And the place of his foot and the birthplace of his head
29
وَمَأْنَسِ نَفْسِهِ إِرَادَةً مِنْهُ لِإِعْزَازِ دِينِكَ
wama-nasi nafsihi irādatan minhu li-i`zāzi dīnik
And the comfort of his soul, out of his desire to elevate Your religion
30
وَاسْتِنْصَارًا عَلَى أَهْلِ الْكُفْرِ بِكَ
wastinṣāran `alā ahlil kufri bik
And to seek victory over the people who disbelieved in You
31
حَتَّى اسْتَتَبَّ لَهُ مَا حَاوَلَ فِيْ أَعْدَائِكَ
ḥattastatabba lahu mā ḥāwala fī a`dā-ik
Until what he attempted against Your enemies was accomplished
32
وَاسْتَتَمَّ لَهُ مَا دَبَّرَ فِيْ أَوْلِيَائِكَ
wastatamma lahu mā dabbara fī awliyā-ik
And what he planned for Your friends was completed
33
فَنَهَدَ إِلَيْهِمْ مُسْتَفْتِحًا بِعَوْنِكَ
fanahada ilayhim mustaftiḥan bi`awnik
So he rose against them, seeking victory through Your help
34
وَمُتَقَوِّيًا عَلَى ضَعْفِهِ بِنَصْرِكَ
wamutaqawwiyan `alā ḍa`fihi binaṣrik
And strengthening his weakness with Your support
35
فَغَزَاهُمْ فِيْ عُقْرِ دِيَارِهِمْ
faghazāhum fī `uqri diyārihim
And he fought them in the heart of their lands
36
وَهَجَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ فِيْ بُحْبُوحَةِ قَرَارِهِمْ
wahajama `alayhim fī buḥbūḥati qarārihim
And attacked them in the midst of their settlements
37
حَتَّى ظَهَرَ أَمْرُكَ
ḥattā ẓahara amruk
Until Your command prevailed
38
وَعَلَتْ كَلِمَتُكَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ
wa`alat kalimatuka walaw karihal mushrikūn
And Your word was exalted, even though the polytheists disliked it
39
اَللَّهُمَّ فَارْفَعْهُ بِمَا كَدَحَ فِيكَ
allāhumma far-fa`hu bimā kadaḥa fīk
O Allah, raise him for his struggles for Your sake
40
إِلَى الدَّرَجَةِ الْعُلْيَا مِنْ جَنَّتِكَ
ilad darajatil `ulyā min jannatik
To the highest level of Your paradise
41
حَتَّى لَا يُسَاوَى فِيْ مَنْزِلَةٍ
ḥattā lā yusāwā fī manzilah
Until he is not equaled in rank
42
وَلَا يُكَافَأَ فِيْ مَرْتَبَةٍ
walā yukāfa-a fī mar-tabah
Nor matched in status
43
وَلَا يُوَازِيَهُ لَدَيْكَ مَلَكٌ مُقَرَّبٌ وَلَا نَبِيٌّ مُرْسَلٌ
walā yuwāziyahu ladayka malakun muqarrabun walā nabiyyun mur-sal
And no angel close to You nor prophet sent by You can parallel him before You
44
وَعَرِّفْهُ فِيْ أَهْلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ
wa`arrifhu fī ahlihiṭ ṭāhirīn
And make known to him among his pure family
45
وَأُمَّتِهِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ مِنْ حُسْنِ الشَّفَاعَةِ
wa-ummatihil mu-minīna min ḥusnish shafā`ah
And his believing nation, the excellence of his intercession
46
أَجَلَّ مَا وَعَدْتَهُ يَا نَافِذَ الْعِدَةِ
ajalla mā wa`adtahu yā nāfidhal `idah
The most sublime of what You promised him, O Fulfiller of promises
47
يَا وَافِيَ الْقَوْلِ يَا مُبَدِّلَ السَّيِّئَاتِ بِأَضْعَافِهَا مِنَ الْحَسَنَاتِ
yā wāfiyal qawli yā mubaddilas sayyi-āti bi-aḍ`āfihā minal ḥasanāt
O Keeper of words, O Transformer of sins into manifold good deeds
48
إِنَّكَ ذُوْ الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ
innaka dhul faḍlil `aẓīm
Indeed, You are the Possessor of great bounty
