بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الْأَوَّلِ بِلَا أَوَّلٍ كَانَ قَبْلَهُ
al ḥamdu lillāhil awwali bilā awwalin kāna qablah
All praise belongs to Allah, the First without any beginning before Him
2
وَ الْآخِرِ بِلَا آخِرٍ يَكُونُ بَعْدَهُ
wal-ākhiri bilā-ākhirin yakūnu ba`dah
And the Last without any end after Him
3
اَلَّذِيْ قَصُرَتْ عَنْ رُؤْيَتِهِ أَبْصَارُ النَّاظِرِينَ
al ladhī qaṣurat `an ru-yatihi abṣārun nāẓirīn
The One whose vision is beyond the sight of those who observe
4
وَ عَجَزَتْ عَنْ نَعْتِهِ أَوْهَامُ الْوَاصِفِينَ
wa `ajazat `an na`tihi awhāmul wāṣifīn
And whose description is beyond the imagination of those who describe
5
اِبْتَدَعَ بِقُدْرَتِهِ الْخَلْقَ ابْتِدَاعًا
ibtada`a biqudratihil khalqabtidā`ā
He originated creation with His power, a complete origination
6
وَ اخْتَرَعَهُمْ عَلَى مَشِيَّتِهِ اخْتِرَاعًا
wakhtara`ahum `alā mashiyyatihikhtirā`ā
And fashioned them according to His will, a perfect fashioning
7
ثُمَّ سَلَكَ بِهِمْ طَرِيقَ إِرَادَتِهِ
thumma salaka bihim ṭarīqa irādatih
Then He set them on the path of His intention
8
وَ بَعَثَهُمْ فِيْ سَبِيلِ مَحَبَّتِهِ
wa ba`athahum fī sabīli maḥabbatih
And sent them on the way of His love
9
لَا يَمْلِكُونَ تَأْخِيرًا عَمَّا قَدَّمَهُمْ إِلَيْهِ
lā yamlikūna ta-khīran `ammā qaddamahum ilayh
They cannot delay what He has hastened for them
10
وَ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ تَقَدُّمًا إِلَى مَا أَخَّرَهُمْ عَنْهُ
wa lā yastaṭī`ūna taqadduman ilā mā akhharahum `anh
Nor can they hasten what He has delayed for them
11
وَ جَعَلَ لِكُلِّ رُوحٍ مِنْهُمْ
wa ja`ala likulli rūḥin minhum
And He has assigned for every soul among them
12
قُوتًا مَعْلُومًا مَقْسُومًا مِنْ رِزْقِهِ
qūtan ma`lūman maqsūman min rizqih
A known, allocated sustenance from His provision
13
لَا يَنْقُصُ مَنْ زَادَهُ نَاقِصٌ
lā yanquṣu man zādahu nāqiṣ
No decrease can diminish what He increases
14
وَ لَا يَزِيدُ مَنْ نَقَصَ مِنْهُمْ زَائِدٌ
wa lā yazīdu man naqaṣa minhum zā-id
And no increase can add to what He decreases
15
ثُمَّ ضَرَبَ لَهُ فِيْ الْحَيَاةِ أَجَلًا مَوْقُوتًا
thumma ḍaraba lahu fil ḥayāti ajalan mawqūtā
Then He set for each a fixed term in life
16
وَ نَصَبَ لَهُ أَمَدًا مَحْدُودًا
wa naṣaba lahu amadan maḥdūdā
And established for each a limited duration
17
يَتَخَطَّأُ إِلَيْهِ بِأَيَّامِ عُمُرِهِ
yatakhaṭṭa-u ilayhi bi-ayyāmi `umurih
Approaching it through the days of their lives
18
وَ يَرْهَقُهُ بِأَعْوَامِ دَهْرِهِ
wa yar-haquhu bi-a`wāmi dahrih
And reaching it through the years of their time
19
حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَ أَقْصَى أَثَرِهِ
ḥattā idhā balagha aqṣā atharih
Until when one reaches the end of their journey
20
وَ اسْتَوْعَبَ حِسَابَ عُمُرِهِ
wastaw`aba ḥisāba `umurih
And completes the count of their lifetime
21
قَبَضَهُ إِلَى مَا نَدَبَهُ إِلَيْهِ
qabaḍahu ilā mā nadabahu ilayh
He takes them to what He has ordained for them
22
مِنْ مَوْفُورِ ثَوَابِهِ، أَوْ مَحْذُورِ عِقَابِهِ
min mawfūri thawābih, aw maḥdhūri `iqābih
Either to abundant reward or dreaded punishment
23
لِيَجْزِيَ الَّذِيْنَ أَسَاءُوْا بِمَا عَمِلُوْا
liyajziyal ladhīna asā-ū bimā `amilū
That He may recompense those who do evil according to what they did
24
وَ يَجْزِيَ الَّذِيْنَ أَحْسَنُوْا بِالْحُسْنَى
wa yajziyal ladhīna aḥsanū bil ḥusnā
And reward those who do good with goodness
25
عَدْلًا مِنْهُ، تَقَدَّسَتْ أَسْمَاؤُهُ
`adlan minh, taqaddasat asma-uh
With justice from Him, holy are His names
26
وَ تَظاَهَرَتْ آلَاؤُهُ
wa taẓāharat-āla-uh
And manifest are His blessings
27
لَا يُسْأَلُ عَمَّا يَفْعَلُ وَ هُمْ يُسْأَلُونَ
lā yus-alu `ammā yaf`alu wa hum yus-alūn
He is not questioned about what He does, but they are questioned
28
وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِيْ لَوْ حَبَسَ عَنْ عِبَادِهِ مَعْرِفَةَ
wal ḥamdu lillāhil ladhī law ḥabasa `an `ibādihi ma`rifah
And all praise belongs to Allah who, if He had withheld from His servants
29
حَمْدِهِ عَلَى مَا أَبْلَاهُمْ مِنْ مِنَنِهِ الْمُتَتَابِعَةِ
ḥamdihi `alā mā ablāhum min minanihil mutatābi`ah
The knowledge of praising Him for the continuous favors He bestowed upon them
30
وَ أَسْبَغَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ نِعَمِهِ الْمُتَظَاهِرَةِ
wa asbagha `alayhim min ni`amihil mutaẓāhirah
And the abundant blessings He showered upon them
31
لَتَصَرَّفُوْا فِيْ مِنَنِهِ فَلَمْ يَحْمَدُوهُ
lataṣarrafū fī minanihi falam yaḥmadūh
They would have used His blessings without praising Him
32
وَ تَوَسَّعُوْا فِيْ رِزْقِهِ فَلَمْ يَشْكُرُوهُ
wa tawassa`ū fī rizqihi falam yashkurūh
And expanded in His provision without thanking Him
33
وَ لَوْ كَانُوْا كَذَلِكَ لَخَرَجُوْا مِنْ حُدُودِ الْإِنْسَانِيَّةِ
wa law kānū kadhalika lakharajū min ḥudūdil insāniyyah
And had they been like that, they would have departed from the bounds of humanity
34
إِلَى حَدِّ الْبَهِيمِيَّةِ
ilā ḥaddil bahīmiyyah
To the limits of animality
35
فَكَانُوْا كَمَا وَصَفَ فِيْ مُحْكَمِ كِتَابِهِ
fakānū kamā waṣafa fī muḥkami kitābih
And they would have been as He described in His clear Book
36
إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا كَالْأَنْعَامِ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ سَبيلًا
in hum illā kal-an`āmi bal hum aḍallu sabilā
"They are like cattle, nay, they are even more astray from the path"
37
وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى مَا عَرَّفَنَا مِنْ نَفْسِهِ
wal ḥamdu lillāhi `alā mā `arrafanā min nafsih
And all praise belongs to Allah for what He has made known to us of Himself
38
وَ أَلْهَمَنَا مِنْ شُكْرِهِ
wa alhamanā min shukrih
And inspired us of His gratitude
39
وَ فَتَحَ لَنَا مِنْ أَبْوَابِ الْعِلْمِ بِرُبُوبِيَّتِهِ
wa fataḥa lanā min abwābil `ilmi birubūbiyyatih
And opened for us the doors of knowledge of His Lordship
40
وَ دَلَّنَا عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْإِخْلَاصِ لَهُ فِيْ تَوْحِيدِهِ
wa dallanā `alayhi minal ikhlāṣi lahu fī tawḥīdih
And guided us to sincerity to Him in His Oneness
41
وَ جَنَّبَنَا مِنَ الْإِلْحَادِ وَ الشَّكِّ فِيْ أَمْرِهِ
wa jannabanā minal ilḥādi wash shakki fī amrih
And kept us away from heresy and doubt in His command
42
حَمْدًا نُعَمَّرُ بِهِ فِيمَنْ حَمِدَهُ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ
ḥamdan nu`ammaru bihi fīman ḥamidahu min khalqih
Praise by which we live among those who praise Him from His creation
43
وَ نَسْبِقُ بِهِ مَنْ سَبَقَ إِلَى رِضَاهُ وَ عَفْوِهِ
wa nasbiqu bihi man sabaqa ilā riḍāhu wa `afwih
And by which we outpace those who hasten to His pleasure and forgiveness
44
حَمْدًا يُضِيْءُ لَنَا بِهِ ظُلُمَاتِ الْبَرْزَخِ
ḥamdan yuḍī-u lanā bihi ẓulumātil bar-zakh
Praise that illuminates for us the darkness of the grave
45
وَ يُسَهِّلُ عَلَيْنَا بِهِ سَبِيلَ الْمَبْعَثِ
wa yusahhilu `alaynā bihi sabīlal mab`ath
And eases for us the path of resurrection
46
وَ يُشَرِّفُ بِهِ مَنَازِلَنَا عِنْدَ مَوَاقِفِ الْأَشْهَادِ
wa yusharrifu bihi manāzilanā `inda mawāqifil ash-hād
And honors our stations at the stands of the witnesses
47
يَوْمَ تُجْزَى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ وَ هُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُوْنَ
yawma tujzā kullu nafsin bimā kasabat wa hum lā yuẓlamūn
On the Day when every soul will be rewarded for what it earned, and they will not be wronged
48
يَوْمَ لَا يُغْنِيْ مَوْلًى عَنْ مَوْلًى شَيْئًا وَ لَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُونَ
yawma lā yughnī mawlan `an mawlan shay-an wa lā hum yunṣarūn
On the Day when no friend will avail a friend in anything, nor will they be helped
49
حَمْدًا يَرْتَفِعُ مِنَّا إِلَى أَعْلَى عِلِّيِّينَ
ḥamdan yar-tafi`u minnā ilā a`lā `illiyyīn
Praise that rises from us to the highest of 'Illiyyin (lofty places)
50
فِيْ كِتَابٍ مَرْقُومٍ يَشْهَدُهُ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ
fī kitābin mar-qūmin yash-haduhul muqarrabūn
In a written record, witnessed by those brought near
51
حَمْدًا تَقَرُّ بِهِ عُيُونُنَا إِذَا بَرِقَتِ الْأَبْصَارُ
ḥamdan taqarru bihi `uyūnunā idhā bariqatil abṣār
Praise by which our eyes are comforted when sight is dazzled
52
وَ تَبْيَضُّ بِهِ وُجُوهُنَا إِذَا اسْوَدَّتِ الْأَبْشَارُ
wa tabyaḍḍu bihi wujūhunā idhaswaddatil abshār
And by which our faces are brightened when complexions are darkened
53
حَمْدًا نُعْتَقُ بِهِ مِنْ أَلِيمِ نَارِ اللَّهِ
ḥamdan nu`taqu bihi min alīmi nārillāh
Praise by which we are freed from the painful Fire of Allah
54
إِلَى كَرِيمِ جِوَارِ اللَّهِ
ilā karīmi jiwārillāh
To the generous neighborhood of Allah
55
حَمْدًا نُزَاحِمُ بِهِ مَلَائِكَتَهُ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ
ḥamdan nuzāḥimu bihi malā-ikatahul muqarrabīn
Praise by which we join His close angels
56
وَ نُضَامُّ بِهِ أَنْبِيَاءَهُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
wa nuḍāmmu bihi anbiyā-ahul mur-salīn
And accompany His sent prophets
57
فِيْ دَارِ الْمُقَامَةِ الَّتِيْ لَا تَزُولُ
fī dāril muqāmatil latī lā tazūl
In the abode of permanence that does not cease
58
وَ مَحَلِّ كَرَامَتِهِ الَّتِيْ لَا تَحُولُ
wa maḥalli karāmatihil latī lā taḥūl
And the place of His honor that does not change
59
وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِيْ اخْتَارَ لَنَا مَحَاسِنَ الْخَلْقِ
wal ḥamdu lillāhil ladhikhtāra lanā maḥāsinal khalq
And all praise belongs to Allah who chose for us the best of creation
60
وَ أَجْرَى عَلَيْنَا طَيِّبَاتِ الرِّزْقِ
wa ajrā `alaynā ṭayyibātir rizq
And provided us with wholesome sustenance
61
وَ جَعَلَ لَنَا الْفَضِيلَةَ بِالْمَلَكَةِ عَلَى جَمِيْعِ الْخَلْقِ
wa ja`ala lanal faḍīlata bil malakati `alā jamī`il khalq
And granted us excellence with authority over all creation
62
فَكُلُّ خَلِيقَتِهِ مُنْقَادَةٌ لَنَا بِقُدْرَتِهِ
fakullu khalīqatihi munqādatun lanā biqudratih
So all His creatures are submissive to us by His power
63
وَ صَائِرَةٌ إِلَى طَاعَتِنَا بِعِزَّتِهِ
wa ṣā-iratun ilā ṭā`atinā bi`izzatih
And compliant to our obedience by His might
64
وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِيْ أَغْلَقَ عَنَّا بَابَ الْحَاجَةِ إِلَّا إِلَيْهِ
wal ḥamdu lillāhil ladhī aghlaqa `annā bābal ḥājati illā ilayh
And all praise belongs to Allah who closed the door of need for us except to Him
65
فَكَيْفَ نُطِيقُ حَمْدَهُ أَمْ مَتَى نُؤَدِّيْ شُكْرَهُ لَا، مَتَى
fakayfa nuṭīqu ḥamdahu am matā nu-addī shukrahu lā, matā
So how can we adequately praise Him, or when can we fulfill His thanks? No, when?
66
وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِيْ رَكَّبَ فِينَا آلَاتِ الْبَسْطِ
wal ḥamdu lillāhil ladhī rakkaba fīnā-ālātil basṭ
And all praise belongs to Allah who installed in us the means of expansion
67
وَ جَعَلَ لَنَا أَدَوَاتِ الْقَبْضِ
wa ja`ala lanā adawātil qabḍ
And made for us the instruments of contraction
68
وَ مَتَّعَنَا بِأَرْوَاحِ الْحَيَاةِ
wa matta`anā bi-ar-wāḥil ḥayāh
And blessed us with the spirits of life
69
وَ أَثْبَتَ فِينَا جَوَارِحَ الْأَعْمَالِ
wa athbata fīnā jawāriḥal a`māl
And established in us the limbs for deeds
70
وَ غَذَّانَا بِطَيِّبَاتِ الرِّزْقِ
wa ghadhhānā biṭayyibātir rizq
And nourished us with wholesome sustenance
71
وَ أَغْنَانَا بِفَضْلِهِ
wa aghnānā bifaḍlih
And enriched us by His grace
72
وَ أَقْنَانَا بِمَنِّهِ
wa aqnānā bimannih
And satisfied us by His favor
73
ثُمَّ أَمَرَنَا لِيَخْتَبِرَ طَاعَتَنَا
thumma amaranā liyakhtabira ṭā`atanā
Then He commanded us to test our obedience
74
وَ نَهَانَا لِيَبْتَلِيَ شُكْرَنَا
wa nahānā liyabtaliya shukranā
And prohibited us to test our gratitude
75
فَخَالَفْنَا عَنْ طَرِيقِ أَمْرِهِ
fakhālafnā `an ṭarīqi amrih
But we deviated from the path of His command
76
وَ رَكِبْنَا مُتُونَ زَجْرِهِ
wa rakibnā mutūna zajrih
And pursued what He forbade
77
فَلَمْ يَبْتَدِرْنَا بِعُقُوبَتِهِ
falam yabtadir-nā bi`uqūbatih
Yet He did not hasten to punish us
78
وَ لَمْ يُعَاجِلْنَا بِنِقْمَتِهِ
wa lam yu`ājilnā biniqmatih
And did not rush His vengeance upon us
79
بَلْ تَأَنَّانَا بِرَحْمَتِهِ تَكَرُّمًا
bal ta-annānā biraḥmatihi takarrumā
Rather, He treated us with patience out of His generosity
80
وَ انْتَظَرَ مُرَاجَعَتَنَا بِرَأْفَتِهِ حِلْمًا
wantaẓara murāja`atanā bira-fatihi ḥilmā
And awaited our return with His kindness and forbearance
81
وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِيْ دَلَّنَا عَلَى التَّوْبَةِ
wal ḥamdu lillāhil ladhī dallanā `alat tawbah
And all praise belongs to Allah who guided us to repentance
82
اَلَّتِيْ لَمْ نُفِدْهَا إِلَّا مِنْ فَضْلِهِ
al latī lam nufid-hā illā min faḍlih
Which we could not have achieved except through His grace
83
فَلَوْ لَمْ نَعْتَدِدْ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ
falaw lam na`tadid min faḍlih
If we were to count nothing of His grace
84
إِلَّا بِهَا لَقَدْ حَسُنَ بَلَاؤُهُ عِنْدَنَا
illā bihā laqad ḥasuna bala-uhu `indanā
Except this, His favor would still be beautiful to us
85
وَ جَلَّ إِحْسَانُهُ إِلَيْنَا
wa jalla iḥsānuhu ilaynā
And His kindness to us magnificent
86
وَ جَسُمَ فَضْلُهُ عَلَيْنَا
wa jasuma faḍluhu `alaynā
And His bounty upon us immense
87
فَمَا هَكَذَا كَانَتْ سُنَّتُهُ فِيْ التَّوْبَةِ
famā hakadhā kānat sunnatuhu fit tawbah
For His way regarding repentance was not like this
88
لِمَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَنَا
liman kāna qablanā
For those who came before us
89
لَقَدْ وَضَعَ عَنَّا
laqad waḍa`a `annā
He has indeed relieved us
90
مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ
mā lā ṭāqata lanā bih
Of what we had no strength to bear
91
وَ لَمْ يُكَلِّفْنَا إِلَّا وُسْعًا
wa lam yukallifnā illā wus`ā
And has not charged us except with our capacity
92
وَ لَمْ يُجَشِّمْنَا إِلَّا يُسْرًا
wa lam yujashhimnā illā yusrā
And has not burdened us except with ease
93
وَ لَمْ يَدَعْ لِأَحَدٍ مِنَّا حُجَّةً وَ لَا عُذْرًا
wa lam yada` li-aḥadin minnā ḥujjatan wa lā `udhrā
And has left no one among us with an excuse or pretext
94
فَالْهَالِكُ مِنَّا مَنْ هَلَكَ عَلَيْهِ
falhāliku minnā man halaka `alayh
So the perished among us is the one who perishes against Him
95
وَ السَّعِيدُ مِنَّا مَنْ رَغِبَ إِلَيْهِ
was sa`īdu minnā man raghiba ilayh
And the happy among us is the one who seeks Him
96
وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ بِكُلِّ مَا حَمِدَهُ بِهِ
wal ḥamdu lillāhi bikulli mā ḥamidahu bih
And all praise belongs to Allah with all the praise
97
أَدْنَى مَلَائِكَتِهِ إِلَيْهِ
adnā malā-ikatihi ilayh
That the nearest of His angels have praised Him with
98
وَ أَكْرَمُ خَلِيقَتِهِ عَلَيْهِ
wa akramu khalīqatihi `alayh
And the most honorable of His creation to Him
99
وَ أَرْضَى حَامِدِيهِ لَدَيْهِ
wa ar-ḍā ḥāmidīhi ladayh
And the most pleasing of those who praise Him
100
حَمْدًا يَفْضُلُ سَائِرَ الْحَمْدِ
ḥamdan yafḍulu sā-iral ḥamd
Praise that exceeds all other praise
101
كَفَضْلِ رَبِّنَا عَلَى جَمِيْعِ خَلْقِهِ
kafaḍli rabbinā `alā jamī`i khalqih
As our Lord exceeds all His creation
102
ثُمَّ لَهُ الْحَمْدُ
thumma lahul ḥamd
Then to Him belongs praise
103
مَكَانَ كُلِّ نِعْمَةٍ لَهُ عَلَيْنَا
makāna kulli ni`matin lahu `alaynā
For every blessing He has upon us
104
وَ عَلَى جَمِيْعِ عِبَادِهِ الْمَاضِينَ وَ الْبَاقِينَ
wa `alā jamī`i `ibādihil māḍīna wal bāqīn
And upon all His servants, past and present
105
عَدَدَ مَا أَحَاطَ بِهِ عِلْمُهُ مِنْ جَمِيْعِ الْأَشْيَاءِ
`adada mā aḥāṭa bihi `ilmuhu min jamī`il ashyā
To the number of all things encompassed by His knowledge
106
وَ مَكَانَ كُلِّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهَا عَدَدُهَا
wa makāna kulli wāḥidatin minhā `adaduhā
And in place of each one of them, its number
107
أَضْعَافًا مُضَاعَفَةً أَبَدًا سَرْمَدًا إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ
aḍ`āfan muḍā`afatan abadan sar-madan ilā yawmil qiyāmah
Multiplied endlessly and eternally until the Day of Resurrection
108
حَمْدًا لَا مُنْتَهَى لِحَدِّهِ
ḥamdan lā muntahā liḥaddih
Praise that has no end to its limit
109
وَ لَا حِسَابَ لِعَدَدِهِ
wa lā ḥisāba li`adadih
And no reckoning of its number
110
وَ لَا مَبْلَغَ لِغَايَتِهِ
wa lā mablagha lighāyatih
And no reaching its goal
111
وَ لَا انْقِطَاعَ لِأَمَدِهِ
wa lanqiṭā`a li-amadih
And no cessation to its duration
112
حَمْدًا يَكُونُ وُصْلَةً إِلَى طَاعَتِهِ وَ عَفْوِهِ
ḥamdan yakūnu wuṣlatan ilā ṭā`atihi wa `afwih
Praise that becomes a connection to His obedience and forgiveness
113
وَ سَبَبًا إِلَى رِضْوَانِهِ
wa sababan ilā riḍwānih
And a cause for His pleasure
114
وَ ذَرِيْعَةً إِلَى مَغْفِرَتِهِ
wa dharī`atan ilā maghfiratih
And a means to His pardon
115
وَ طَرِيقًا إِلَى جَنَّتِهِ
wa ṭarīqan ilā jannatih
And a path to His Paradise
116
وَ خَفِيرًا مِنْ نَقِمَتِهِ
wa khafīran min naqimatih
And a protection from His vengeance
117
وَ أَمْنًا مِنْ غَضَبِهِ
wa amnan min ghaḍabih
And a security from His wrath
118
وَ ظَهِيرًا عَلَى طَاعَتِهِ
wa ẓahīran `alā ṭā`atih
And a support for His obedience
119
وَ حَاجِزًا عَنْ مَعْصِيَتِهِ
wa ḥājizan `an ma`ṣiyatih
And a barrier against His disobedience
120
وَ عَوْنًا عَلَى تَأْدِيَةِ حَقِّهِ وَ وَظَائِفِهِ
wa `awnan `alā ta-diyati ḥaqqihi wa waẓā-ifih
And an aid in fulfilling His rights and duties
121
حَمْدًا نَسْعَدُ بِهِ فِيْ السُّعَدَاءِ مِنْ أَوْلِيَائِهِ
ḥamdan nas`adu bihi fis su`adā-i min awliyā-ih
Praise by which we become happy among the fortunate of His friends
122
وَ نَصِيرُ بِهِ فِيْ نَظْمِ الشُّهَدَاءِ بِسُيُوفِ أَعْدَائِهِ
wa naṣīru bihi fī naẓmish shuhadā-i bisuyūfi a`dā-ih
And join the ranks of martyrs by the swords of His enemies
123
إِنَّهُ وَلِيٌّ حَمِيدٌ
innahu waliyyun ḥamīd
Indeed, He is the Praiseworthy Guardian
