بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَللّٰهُمَّ مَا عَمِلْتُ فِيْ هٰذِهِ السَّنَةِ
allāhumma mā `amiltu fī hādhihis sanah
O Allah, whatever deeds I have done in this year
2
مِنْ عَمَلٍ نَهَيْتَنِيْ عَنْهُ وَلَمْ تَرْضَهُ
min `amalin nahaytanī `anhu walam tar-ḍah
from actions which You forbade me from and were not pleased with
3
وَنَسِيتُهُ وَلَمْ تَنْسَهُ
wanasītuhu walam tansah
and I forgot them but You did not forget
4
وَدَعَوْتَنِيْ إِلَى التَّوْبَةِ بَعْدَ اجْتِرَائِي عَلَيْكَ
wada`awtanī ilat tawbati ba`dajtirā-ī `alayk
and You called me to repentance after my boldness against You
5
اَللّٰهُمَّ فَإِنِّي أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ مِنْهُ فَاغْفِرْ لِيْ
allāhumma fa-innī astaghfiruka minhu faghfir lī
O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness for it, so forgive me
6
وَمَا عَمِلْتُ مِنْ عَمَلٍ يُقَرِّبُنِيْ إِلَيْكَ
wamā `amiltu min `amalin yuqarribunī ilayk
And whatever deeds I have done that bring me closer to You
7
فَاقْبَلْهُ مِنِّي وَلَا تَقْطَعْ رَجَائِي مِنْكَ يَا كَرِيمُ
faqbalhu minnī walā taqṭa` rajā-ī minka yā karīm
accept them from me and do not cut off my hope from You, O Generous One
