بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيِّكَ
allāhumma innī as-aluka biḥaqqi muḥammadin nabiyyik
O Allah, I ask You by the right of Muhammad, Your Prophet
2
وَعَلِيٍّ وَلِيِّكَ
wa`aliyyin waliyyik
And Ali, Your Guardian
3
وَالشَّأْنِ وَالْقَدْرِ الَّذِيْ خَصَصْتَهُمَا بِهِ دُوْنَ خَلْقِكَ
wash sha-ni walqadril ladhī khaṣaṣtahumā bihi dūna khalqik
And by the status and honor that You have exclusively given them above Your creation
4
أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلِيٍّ
an tuṣalliya `alā muḥammadin wa`aliyy
To send blessings upon Muhammad and Ali
5
وَأَنْ تَبْدَأَ بِهِمَا فِيْ كُلِّ خَيْرٍ عَاجِلٍ
wa-an tabda-a bihimā fī kulli khayrin `ājil
And to begin with them in every immediate good
6
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
7
اَلْأَئِمَّةِ الْقَادَةِ
al a-immatil qādah
The guiding Imams
8
وَالدُّعَاةِ السَّادَةِ
wad du`ātis sādah
The calling masters
9
وَالنُّجُومِ الزَّاهِرَةِ
wan nujūmiz zāhirah
The brilliant stars
10
وَالْأَعْلاَمِ الْبَاهِرَةِ
wal-a`lāmil bāhirah
The radiant symbols
11
وَسَاسَةِ الْعِبَادِ
wasāsatil `ibād
The caretakers of the servants
12
وَأَرْكَانِ الْبِلادِ
wa-ar-kānil bilād
The pillars of the lands
13
وَالنَّاقَةِ الْمُرْسَلَةِ
wan nāqatil mur-salah
The sent she-camel
14
وَالسَّفِينَةِ النَّاجِيَةِ
was safīnatin nājiyah
The saving ark
15
اَلْجَارِيَةِ فِيْ اللُّجَجِ الْغَامِرَةِ
al jāriyati fil lujajil ghāmirah
Sailing through the overwhelming depths
16
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
17
خُزَّانِ عِلْمِكَ
khuzzāni `ilmik
The treasurers of Your knowledge
18
وَأَرْكَانِ تَوْحِيدِكَ
wa-ar-kāni tawḥīdik
The pillars of Your Oneness
19
وَدَعَائِمِ دِينِكَ
wada`ā-imi dīnik
The supports of Your religion
20
وَمَعَادِنِ كَرَامَتِكَ
wama`ādini karāmatik
The mines of Your generosity
21
وَصَفْوَتِكَ مِنْ بَرِيَّتِكَ
waṣafwatika min bariyyatik
Your chosen ones from Your creation
22
وَخِيَرَتِكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ
wakhiyaratika min khalqik
Your selected ones from Your creation
23
اَلْأَتْقِيَاءِ الْأَنْقِيَاءِ
al atqiyā-il anqiyā
The pious, the pure
24
اَلنُّجَبَاءِ الْأَبْرَارِ
an nujabā-il abrār
The noble, the righteous
25
وَالْبَابِ الْمُبْتَلىٰ بِهِ النَّاسُ
walbābil mubtalā bihin nās
And the gate through which people are tested
26
مَنْ أَتَاهُ نَجَا
man atāhu najā
Whoever comes to it is saved
27
وَمَنْ أَبَاهُ هَوٰى
waman abāhu hawā
And whoever rejects it falls
28
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
29
أَهْلِ الذِّكْرِ الَّذِيْنَ أَمَرْتَ بِمَسْأَلَتِهِمْ
ahlidh dhikril ladhīna amar-ta bimas-alatihim
The people of remembrance whom You commanded to be asked
30
وَذَوِيْ الْقُرْبَى الَّذِيْنَ أَمَرْتَ بِمَوَدَّتِهِمْ
wadhawil qur-bal ladhīna amar-ta bimawaddatihim
And the relatives whom You commanded to be loved
31
وَفَرَضْتَ حَقَّهُمْ
wafaraḍta ḥaqqahum
And You made their rights obligatory
32
وَجَعَلْتَ الْجَنَّةَ مَعَادَ مَنِ اقْتَصَّ آثَارَهُمْ
waja`altal jannata ma`āda maniqtaṣṣa-āthārahum
And You made Paradise the destination for those who follow their footsteps
33
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
34
كَمَا أَمَرُوْا بِطَاعَتِكَ
kamā amarū biṭā`atik
As they commanded obedience to You
35
وَنَهُوْا عَنْ مَعْصِيَتِكَ
wanahū `an ma`ṣiyatik
And forbade disobedience to You
36
وَدَلُّوْا عِبَادَكَ عَلٰى وَحْدَانِيَّتِكَ
wadallū `ibādaka `alā waḥdāniyyatik
And guided Your servants to Your Oneness
37
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma innī as-aluka biḥaqqi muḥammad
O Allah, I ask You by the right of Muhammad
38
نَبِيِّكَ وَنَجِيبِكَ
nabiyyika wanajībik
Your Prophet and Your chosen one
39
وَصَفْوَتِكَ وَأَمِينِكَ
waṣafwatika wa-amīnik
Your selected one and Your trustee
40
وَرَسُولِكَ إِلٰى خَلْقِكَ
warasūlika ilā khalqik
And Your Messenger to Your creation
41
وَبِحَقِّ أَمِيرِالْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
wabiḥaqqi amīril mu-minīn
And by the right of the Commander of the Faithful
42
وَيَعْسُوبِ الدِّينِ
waya`sūbid dīn
The leader of religion
43
وَقَائِدِ الْغُرِّ الْمُحَجَّلِينَ
waqā-idil ghurril muḥajjalīn
The guide of the resplendent ones
44
اَلْوَصِيِّ الْوَفِيِّ
al waṣiyyil wafiyy
The faithful successor
45
وَالصِّدِّيقِ الْأَكْبَرِ
waṣ ṣiddīqil akbar
The greatest truthful one
46
وَالْفَارُوقِ بَيْنَ الْحَقِّ وَالْبَاطِلِ
walfārūqi baynal ḥaqqi walbāṭil
The distinguisher between truth and falsehood
47
وَالشَّاهِدِ لَكَ
wash shāhidi lak
The witness for You
48
وَالدَّالِّ عَلَيْكَ
wad dālli `alayk
The guide to You
49
وَالصَّادِعِ بِأَمْرِكَ
waṣ ṣādi`i bi-amrik
The one who proclaimed Your command
50
وَالْمُجَاهِدِ فِيْ سَبِيلِكَ
walmujāhidi fī sabīlik
The one who strived in Your path
51
لَمْ تَأْخُذْهُ فِيكَ لَوْمَةُ لاَئِمٍ
lam ta-khudh-hu fīka lawmatu lā-im
Never deterred by any blame for Your sake
52
أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
an tuṣalliya `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
To send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
53
وَأَنْ تَجْعَلَنِيْ فِيْ هٰذَا الْيَوْمِ
wa-an taj`alanī fī hādhal yawm
And to make me on this day
54
اَلَّذِيْ عَقَدْتَ فِيهِ لِوَلِيِّكَ الْعَهْدَ فِيْ أَعْنَاقِ خَلْقِكَ
al ladhī `aqadta fīhi liwaliyyikal `ahda fī a`nāqi khalqik
In which You established the covenant for Your guardian upon the necks of Your creation
55
وَأَكْمَلْتَ لَهُمُ الدِّينَ
wa-akmalta lahumud dīn
And You perfected for them the religion
56
مِنَ الْعَارِفِينَ بِحُرْمَتِهِ
minal `ārifīna biḥur-matih
Among those who recognize his sanctity
57
وَالْمُقِرِّينَ بِفَضْلِهِ
walmuqirrīna bifaḍlih
And acknowledge his virtue
58
مِنْ عُتَقَائِكَ وَطُلَقَائِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ
min `utaqā-ika waṭulaqā-ika minan nār
Among those whom You have freed and released from the Fire
59
وَلَا تُشْمِتْ بِىْ حَاسِدِيْ النِّعَمِ
walā tushmit bī ḥāsidin ni`am
And do not let those who envy blessings rejoice at my misfortune
60
اَللّٰهُمَّ فَكَمَا جَعَلْتَهُ عِيدَكَ الْأَكْبَرَ
allāhumma fakamā ja`altahu `īdakal akbar
O Allah, as You made it Your greatest festival
61
وَسَمَّيْتَهُ فِيْ السَّمَاءِ يَوْمَ الْعَهْدِ الْمَعْهُودِ
wasammaytahu fis samā-i yawmal `ahdil ma`hūd
And named it in the heavens as the Day of the Promised Covenant
62
وَفِيْ الْأَرْضِ يَوْمَ الْمِيثَاقِ الْمَأْخُوذِ وَالْجَمْعِ الْمَسْؤُولِ
wafil ar-ḍi yawmal mīthāqil ma-khūdhi waljam`il mas-ūl
And on earth as the Day of the Taken Pledge and the Questioned Gathering
63
صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
Send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
64
وَأَقْرِرْ بِهِ عُيُونَنَا
wa-aqrir bihi `uyūnanā
And comfort our eyes through it
65
وَاجْمَعْ بِهِ شَمْلَنَا
wajma` bihi shamlanā
And unite us through it
66
وَلَا تُضِلَّنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا
walā tuḍillanā ba`da idh hadaytanā
And do not let us go astray after You have guided us
67
وَاجْعَلْنَا لِأَنْعُمِكَ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ
waj`alnā li-an`umika minash shākirīn
And make us among those who are grateful for Your blessings
68
يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
yā ar-ḥamar rāḥimīn
O Most Merciful of the merciful
69
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ عَرَّفَنَا فَضْلَ هٰذَا الْيَوْمِ
al ḥamdu lillāhil ladhī `arrafanā faḍla hādhal yawm
Praise be to Allah Who has made us recognize the virtue of this day
70
وَبَصَّرَنَا حُرْمَتَهُ
wabaṣṣaranā ḥur-matah
And made us see its sanctity
71
وَكَرَّمَنَا بِهِ
wakarramanā bih
And honored us through it
72
وَشَرَّفَنَا بِمَعْرِفَتِهِ
washarrafanā bima`rifatih
And ennobled us with its recognition
73
وَهَدَانَا بِنُوْرِهِ
wahadānā binūrih
And guided us with its light
74
يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ
yā rasūlallāh
O Messenger of Allah
75
يَا أَمِيرَالْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
yā amīralmu-minīn
O Commander of the Faithful
76
عَلَيْكُمَا وَعَلٰى عِتْرَتِكُمَا
`alaykumā wa`alā `itratikumā
Upon both of you and upon your family
77
وَعَلٰى مُحِبِّيكُمَا مِنِّي أَفْضَلُ السَّلامِ
wa`alā muḥibbīkumā minnī afḍalus salām
And upon those who love you, from me, the best of peace
78
مَا بَقِيَ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ
mā baqiyal laylu wan nahār
As long as night and day remain
79
وَبِكُمَا أَتَوَجَّهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ رَبِّي وَرَبِّكُمَا
wabikumā atawajjahu ilallāhi rabbī warabbikumā
And through you both I turn to Allah, my Lord and your Lord
80
فِيْ نَجَاحِ طَلِبتِيْ
fī najāḥi ṭalibtī
For the success of my requests
81
وَقَضَاءِ حَوَائِجِيْ
waqaḍā-i ḥawā-ijī
The fulfillment of my needs
82
وَتَيْسِيرِ أُمُورِيْ
wataysīri umūrī
And the easing of my affairs
83
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma innī as-aluka biḥaqqi muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, I ask You by the right of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
84
أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
an tuṣalliya `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
To send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
85
وَأَنْ تَلْعَنَ مَنْ جَحَدَ حَقَّ هٰذَا الْيَوْمِ
wa-an tal`ana man jaḥada ḥaqqa hādhal yawm
And to curse those who denied the right of this day
86
وَأَنْكَرَ حُرْمَتَهُ
wa-ankara ḥur-matah
And rejected its sanctity
87
فَصَدَّ عَنْ سَبِيلِكَ لِإِطْفَاءِ نُوْرِكَ
faṣadda `an sabīlika li-iṭfā-i nūrik
And turned away from Your path to extinguish Your light
88
فَأَبَى اللَّهُ إِلَّا أَنْ يُتِمَّ نُورَهُ
fa-aballāhu illā an yutimma nūrah
But Allah refused except to perfect His light
89
اَللّٰهُمَّ فَرِّجْ عَنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِ مُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيِّكَ
allāhumma farrij `an ahli bayti muḥammadin nabiyyik
O Allah, relieve the family of Muhammad, Your Prophet
90
وَاكْشِفْ عَنْهُمْ وَبِهِمْ عَنِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ الْكُرُبَاتِ
wakshif `anhum wabihim `anil mu-minīnal kurubāt
And remove through them the distresses from the believers
91
اَللّٰهُمَّ امْلَاَ الْأَرْضَ بِهِمْ عَدْلًا
allāhummamla-al ar-ḍa bihim `adlā
O Allah, fill the earth through them with justice
92
كَمَا مُلِئَتْ ظُلْمًا وَجَوْرًا
kamā muli-at ẓulman wajawrā
As it has been filled with oppression and tyranny
93
وَأَنْجِزْ لَهُمْ مَا وَعَدْتَهُمْ
wa-anjiz lahum mā wa`adtahum
And fulfill for them what You have promised them
94
إِنَّكَ لَاتُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ
innaka lātukhliful mī`ād
Indeed, You do not break Your promise
