بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدَ
allāhumma innī as-aluka bi-anna lakal ḥamd
O Allah, I ask You, as all praise belongs to You
2
وَحْدَكَ لَاشَرِيكَ لَكَ
waḥdaka lāsharīka lak
Alone, without any partner
3
وَأَنَّكَ وَاحِدٌ أَحَدٌ صَمَدٌ
wa-annaka wāḥidun aḥadun ṣamad
And that You are One, Unique, Eternal
4
لَمْ تَلِدْ وَلَمْ تُولَدْ
lam talid walam tūlad
You neither beget nor were You begotten
5
وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَكَ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ
walam yakun laka kufuwan aḥad
And there is none comparable to You
6
وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ
wa-anna muḥammadan `abduka warasūluk
And that Muhammad is Your servant and Your messenger
7
صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
ṣalawātuka `alayhi wa ālih
Your blessings be upon him and his family
8
يَا مَنْ هُوَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ فِيْ شَأْنٍ
yā man huwa kulla yawmin fī sha-n
O He who is engaged in a matter every day
9
كَمَا كَانَ مِنْ شَأْنِكَ أَنْ تَفَضَّلْتَ عَلَيَّ
kamā kāna min sha-nika an tafaḍḍalta `alayy
As it was from Your grace that You bestowed upon me
10
بِأَنْ جَعَلْتَنِيْ مِنْ أَهْلِ إِجَابَتِكَ
bi-an ja`altanī min ahli ijābatik
By making me among those who respond to You
11
وَأَهْلِ دِينِكَ
wa-ahli dīnik
And among the people of Your religion
12
وَأَهْلِ دَعْوَتِكَ
wa-ahli da`watik
And among the people of Your call
13
وَوَفَّقْتَنِيْ لِذٰلِكَ فِيْ مُبْتَدَءِ خَلْقِيْ
wawaffaqtanī lidhālika fī mubtada-i khalqī
And You granted me success for this from the beginning of my creation
14
تَفَضُّلًا مِنْكَ وَكَرَمًا وَجُودًا
tafaḍḍulan minka wakaraman wajūdā
As a favor from You, and generosity and bounty
15
ثُمَّ أَرْدَفْتَ الْفَضْلَ فَضْلًا
thumma ar-daftal faḍla faḍlā
Then You followed favor with favor
16
وَالْجُودَ جُودًا
waljūda jūdā
And bounty with bounty
17
وَالْكَرَمَ كَرَمًا
walkarama karamā
And generosity with generosity
18
رَأْفَةً مِنْكَ وَرَحْمَةً
ra-fatan minka waraḥmah
Out of kindness and mercy from You
19
إِلٰى أَنْ جَدَّدْتَ ذٰلِكَ الْعَهْدَ لِيْ تَجْدِيدًا
ilā an jaddadta dhālikal `ahda lī tajdīdā
Until You renewed that covenant for me, renewing it
20
بَعْدَ تَجْدِيْدِكَ خَلْقِيْ
ba`da tajdīdika khalqī
After renewing my creation
21
وَكُنْتُ نَسْيًا مَنْسِيًّا
wakuntu nasyan mansiyyā
When I was something forgotten
22
نَاسِيًا سَاهِيًا غَافِلًا
nāsiyan sāhiyan ghāfilā
Forgetful, negligent, heedless
23
فَأَتْمَمْتَ نِعْمَتَكَ
fa-atmamta ni`matak
So You completed Your favor
24
بِأَنْ ذَكَّرْتَنِيْ ذٰلِكَ
bi-an dhakkar-tanī dhālik
By reminding me of that
25
وَمَنَنْتَ بِهِ عَلَيَّ
wamananta bihi `alayy
And bestowing it upon me
26
وَهَدَيْتَنِيْ لَهُ
wahadaytanī lah
And guiding me to it
27
فَلْيَكُنْ مِنْ شَأْنِكَ
falyakun min sha-nik
So let it be from Your affairs
28
يَا إِلٰهِيْ وَسَيِّدِيْ وَمَوْلَايَ
yā ilāhī wasayyidī wamawlāy
O my God, my Master, and my Lord
29
أَنْ تُتِمَّ لِيْ ذٰلِكَ وَلَا تَسْلُبْنِيهِ
an tutimma lī dhālika walā taslubnīh
That You complete this for me and do not take it away from me
30
حَتَّىٰ تَتَوَفَّانِيْ عَلٰى ذٰلِكَ
ḥattā tatawaffānī `alā dhālik
Until You cause me to die upon it
31
وَأَنْتَ عَنِّيْ رَاضٍ
wa-anta `annī rāḍ
While You are pleased with me
32
فَإِنَّكَ أَحَقُّ الْمُنْعِمِيْنَ
fa-innaka aḥaqqul mun`imīn
For You are the most deserving of those who bestow favors
33
أَنْ تُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَكَ عَلَيَّ
an tutimma ni`mataka `alayy
To complete Your favor upon me
34
اَللّٰهُمَّ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا
allāhumma sami`nā wa-aṭa`nā
O Allah, we have heard and obeyed
35
وَأَجَبْنَا دَاعِيَكَ بِمَنِّكَ
wa-ajabnā dā`iyaka bimannik
And we have answered Your caller by Your favor
36
فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ
falakal ḥamd
So to You belongs all praise
37
غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا
ghufrānaka rabbanā
We seek Your forgiveness, our Lord
38
وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ
wa-ilaykal maṣīr
And to You is the return
39
آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَحْدَهُ
āmannā billāhi waḥdah
We believe in Allah alone
40
لَاشَرِيكَ لَهُ
lāsharīka lah
Without any partner
41
وَبِرَسُولِهِ مُحَمَّدٍ
wabirasūlihi muḥammad
And in His Messenger, Muhammad
42
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa ālih
May Allah's blessings be upon him and his family
43
وَصَدَّقْنَا وَأَجَبْنَا دَاعِيَ اللَّهِ
waṣaddaqnā wa-ajabnā dā`iyallāh
And we have affirmed and answered the caller of Allah
44
وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فِيْ مُوَالَاةِ مَوْلاَنَا
wattaba`nar rasūla fī muwālāti mawlānā
And we have followed the Messenger in loyalty to our master
45
وَمَوْلَى الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
wamawlal mu-minīn
And the master of the believers
46
أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
amīril mu-minīn
The Commander of the Faithful
47
عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِيْ طَالِبٍ
`aliyyibni abī ṭālib
Ali ibn Abi Talib
48
عَبْدِاللَّهِ وَأَخِيْ رَسُولِهِ
`abdillāhi wa-akhī rasūlih
The servant of Allah and brother of His Messenger
49
وَالصِّدِّيقِ الْأَكْبَرِ
waṣ ṣiddīqil akbar
And the greatest truthful one
50
وَالْحُجَّةِ عَلٰى بَرِيَّتِهِ
walḥujjati `alā bariyyatih
And the proof over His creation
51
اَلْمُؤَيِّدِ بِهِ نَبِيَّهُ
al mu-ayyidi bihi nabiyyah
The one through whom He supported His Prophet
52
وَدِيْنَهُ الْحَقَّ الْمُبِينَ
wadīnahul ḥaqqal mubīn
And His true and manifest religion
53
عَلَمًا لِدِينِ اللَّهِ
`alaman lidīnillāh
A standard for Allah's religion
54
وَخَازِنًا لِعِلْمِهِ
wakhāzinan li`ilmih
And a treasurer of His knowledge
55
وَعَيْبَةَ غَيْبِ اللَّهِ
wa`aybata ghaybillāh
And a repository of Allah's unseen
56
وَمَوْضِعَ سِرِّ اللَّهِ
wamawḍi`a sirrillāh
And the place of Allah's secret
57
وَأَمِيْنَ اللَّهِ عَلٰى خَلْقِهِ
wa-amīnallāhi `alā khalqih
And Allah's trustee over His creation
58
وَشَاهِدَهُ فِيْ بَرِيَّتِهِ
washāhidahu fī bariyyatih
And His witness among His creatures
59
اَللّٰهُمَّ رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا
allāhumma rabbanā innanā sami`nā munādiyā
O Allah, our Lord, we have heard a caller
60
يُنَادِيْ لِلْإِيْمَانِ أَنْ آمِنُوْا بِرَبِّكُمْ فَآمَنَّا
yunādī lil-īmāni an-āminū birabbikum fa-āmannā
Calling to faith, saying: "Believe in your Lord," so we believed
61
رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا
rabbanā faghfir lanā dhunūbanā
Our Lord, forgive us our sins
62
وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئاتِنَا
wakaffir `annā sayyi-ātinā
And remove from us our evil deeds
63
وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِ
watawaffanā ma`al abrār
And cause us to die with the righteous
64
رَبَّنَا وَ آتِنَا مَا وَعَدْتَنَا عَلٰى رُسُلِكَ
rabbanā wa ātinā mā wa`adtanā `alā rusulik
Our Lord, grant us what You promised us through Your messengers
65
وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
walā tukhzinā yawmal qiyāmah
And do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection
66
إِنَّكَ لَاتُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ
innaka lātukhliful mī`ād
Indeed, You do not break Your promise
67
فَإِنَّا يَا رَبَّنَا بِمَنِّكَ وَلُطْفِكَ
fa-innā yā rabbanā bimannika waluṭfik
For we, O our Lord, by Your favor and kindness
68
أَجَبْنَا دَاعِيَكَ
ajabnā dā`iyak
Have answered Your caller
69
وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ وَصَدَّقْنَاهُ
wattaba`nar rasūla waṣaddaqnāh
And followed the Messenger and believed in him
70
وَصَدَّقْنَا مَوْلَى الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
waṣaddaqnā mawlal mu-minīn
And believed in the Master of the Believers
71
وَكَفَرْنَا بِالْجِبْتِ وَالطَّاغُوتِ
wakafar-nā bil jibti waṭ ṭāghūt
And we have rejected false deities and tyrants
72
فَوَلِّنَا مَا تَوَلَّيْنَا
fawallinā mā tawallaynā
So grant us what we have accepted
73
وَاحْشُرْنَا مَعَ أَئِمَّتِنَا
waḥshur-nā ma`a a-immatinā
And gather us with our Imams
74
فَإِنَّا بِهِمْ مُؤْمِنُونَ مُوقِنُونَ
fa-innā bihim mu-minūna mūqinūn
For we believe in them with certainty
75
وَلَهُمْ مُسَلِّمُوْنَ
walahum musallimūn
And to them we submit
76
آمَنَّا بِسِرِّهِمْ وَعَلانِيَتِهِمْ
āmannā bisirrihim wa`alāniyatihim
We believe in their hidden and apparent aspects
77
وَشَاهِدِهِمْ وَغَائِبِهِمْ
washāhidihim waghā-ibihim
Their present and their absent
78
وَحَيِّهِمْ وَمَيِّتِهِمْ
waḥayyihim wamayyitihim
Their living and their deceased
79
وَرَضِينَا بِهِمْ أَئِمَّةً
waraḍīnā bihim a-immah
And we are pleased with them as our Imams
80
وَقَادَةً وَسَادَةً
waqādatan wasādah
Leaders and masters
81
وَحَسْبُنَا بِهِمْ
waḥasbunā bihim
And they are sufficient for us
82
بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ اللَّهِ دُوْنَ خَلْقِهِ
baynanā wabaynallāhi dūna khalqih
Between us and Allah, apart from His creation
83
لَا نَبْتَغِيْ بِهِمْ بَدَلًا
lā nabtaghī bihim badalā
We do not seek any substitute for them
84
وَلَا نَتَّخِذُ مِنْ دُونِهِمْ وَلِيجَةً
walā nattakhidhu min dūnihim walījah
Nor do we take any confidant besides them
85
وَبَرِئْنَا إِلَى اللَّهِ
wabari-nā ilallāh
And we disavow to Allah
86
مِنْ كُلِّ مَنْ نَصَبَ لَهُمْ حَرْبًا
min kulli man naṣaba lahum ḥar-bā
From all who wage war against them
87
مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ
minal jinni wal-ins
From among the jinn and mankind
88
مِنَ الْأَوَّلِينَ وَالْآخِرِينَ
minal awwalīna wal-ākhirīn
From the first and the last
89
وَكَفَرْنَا بِالْجِبْتِ وَالطَّاغُوتِ
wakafar-nā bil jibti waṭ ṭāghūt
And we reject false deities and tyrants
90
وَالْأَوْثَانِ الْأَرْبَعَةِ
wal-awthānil ar-ba`ah
And the four idols
91
وَأَشْيَاعِهِمْ وَأَتْبَاعِهِمْ
wa-ashyā`ihim wa-atbā`ihim
And their followers and adherents
92
وَكُلِّ مَنْ وَالَاهُمْ
wakulli man wālāhum
And all who ally with them
93
مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ
minal jinni wal-ins
From among the jinn and mankind
94
مِنْ أَوَّلِ الدَّهْرِ إِلٰى آخِرِهِ
min awwalid dahri ilā-ākhirih
From the beginning of time until its end
95
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنَّا نُشْهِدُكَ
allāhumma innā nush-hiduk
O Allah, we bear witness to You
96
أَنَّا نَدِينُ بِمَا دَانَ بِهِ مُحَمَّدٌ وَ آلُ مُحَمَّدٍ
annā nadīnu bimā dāna bihi muḥammadun wa ālu muḥammad
That we follow the religion of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
97
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمْ
ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa`alayhim
May Allah's blessings be upon him and them
98
وَقَوْلُنَا مَا قَالُوْا
waqawlunā mā qālū
And our words are what they said
99
وَدِينُنَا مَا دَانُوْا بِهِ
wadīnunā mā dānū bih
And our religion is what they practiced
100
مَا قَالُوْا بِهِ قُلْنَا
mā qālū bihi qulnā
What they said, we say
101
وَمَا دَانُوْا بِهِ دِنَّا
wamā dānū bihi dinnā
And what they practiced, we practice
102
وَمَا أَنْكَرُوْا أَنْكَرْنَا
wamā ankarū ankar-nā
And what they rejected, we reject
103
وَمَنْ وَالُوْا وَالَيْنَا
waman wālū wālaynā
And whom they befriended, we befriend
104
وَمَنْ عَادُوْا عَادَيْنَا
waman `ādū `ādaynā
And whom they opposed, we oppose
105
وَمَنْ لَعَنُوْا لَعَنَّا
waman la`anū la`annā
And whom they cursed, we curse
106
وَمَنْ تَبَرَّأُوْا مِنْهُ تَبَرَّأْنَا مِنْهُ
waman tabarra-ū minhu tabarra-nā minh
And from whom they disassociated, we disassociate
107
وَمَنْ تَرَحَّمُوْا عَلَيْهِ تَرَحَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِ
waman taraḥḥamū `alayhi taraḥḥamnā `alayh
And upon whom they had mercy, we have mercy
108
آمَنَّا وَسَلَّمْنَا
āmannā wasallamnā
We believe and submit
109
وَرَضِينَا وَاتَّبَعْنَا مَوَالِيَنَا
waraḍīnā wattaba`nā mawāliyanā
And we are pleased with and follow our masters
110
صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ
ṣalawātullāhi `alayhim
May Allah's blessings be upon them
111
اَللّٰهُمَّ فَتَمِّمْ لَنَا ذٰلِكَ وَلَا تَسْلُبْنَاهُ
allāhumma fatammim lanā dhālika walā taslubnāh
O Allah, complete this for us and do not take it away from us
112
وَاجْعَلْهُ مُسْتَقِرًّا ثَابِتًا عِنْدَنَا
waj`alhu mustaqirran thābitan `indanā
And make it firmly established with us
113
وَلَا تَجْعَلْهُ مُسْتَعَارًا
walā taj`alhu musta`ārā
And do not make it temporary
114
وَأَحْيِنَا مَا أَحْيَيْتَنَا عَلَيْهِ
wa-aḥyinā mā aḥyaytanā `alayh
And keep us alive upon it as long as You keep us alive
115
وَأَمِتْنَا إِذَا أَمَتَّنَا عَلَيْهِ
wa-amitnā idhā amattanā `alayh
And cause us to die upon it when You cause us to die
116
آلُ مُحَمَّدٍ أَئِمَّتُنَا
ālu muḥammadin a-immatunā
The family of Muhammad are our Imams
117
فَبِهِمْ نَأْتَمُّ
fabihim na-tamm
So we follow them
118
وَإِيَّاهُمْ نُوْالِيْ
wa-iyyāhum nulī
And them we befriend
119
وَعَدُوَّهُمْ عَدُوَّ اللَّهِ نُعَادِيْ
wa`aduwwahum `aduwwallāhi nu`ādī
And their enemy, the enemy of Allah, we oppose
120
فَاجْعَلْنَا مَعَهُمْ فِيْ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ
faj`alnā ma`ahum fid dunyā wal-ākhirah
So place us with them in this world and the Hereafter
121
وَمِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ
waminal muqarrabīn
And among those brought near
122
فَإِنَّا بِذٰلِكَ رَاضُونَ
fa-innā bidhālika rāḍūn
For we are pleased with that
123
يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
yā ar-ḥamar rāḥimīn
O Most Merciful of the merciful
