سَجَدَ لَكَ سَوَادِيْ وَخَيَالِي
sajada laka sawādī wakhayālī
My form and my shadow prostrate to You
2
وَ آمَنَ بِكَ فُؤَادِي
wa āmana bika fu-ādī
And my heart believes in You
3
هٰذِهِ يَدَايَ وَمَا جَنَيْتُهُ عَلٰى نَفْسِي
hādhihi yadāya wamā janaytuhu `alā nafsī
These are my hands and what I have committed against myself
4
يَا عَظِيمُ تُرْجَىٰ لِكُلِّ عَظِيمٍ
yā `aẓīmu tur-jā likulli `aẓīm
O Great One, who is sought for every great matter
5
اِغْفِرْ لِيَ الْعَظِيمَ
ighfir liyal `aẓīm
Forgive my great sin
6
فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذَّنْبَ الْعَظِيمَ إِلَّا الرَّبُّ الْعَظِيمُ
fa-innahu lā yaghfirudh dhanbal `aẓīma illar rabbul `aẓīm
For none forgives the great sin except the Great Lord
