بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
شَجَرَةِ النُّبُوَّةِ
shajaratin nubuwwah
The tree of Prophethood
2
وَمَوْضِعِ الرِّسَالَةِ
wamawḍi`ir risālah
And the place of the Message
3
وَمُخْتَلَفِ الْمَلَائِكَةِ
wamukhtalafil malā-ikah
And the frequenting place of angels
4
وَمَعْدِنِ الْعِلْمِ
wama`dinil `ilm
And the mine of knowledge
5
وَأَهْلِ بَيْتِ الْوَحْيِ
wa-ahli baytil waḥy
And the people of the house of revelation
6
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
7
اَلْفُلْكِ الْجَارِيَةِ فِيْ اللُّجَجِ الْغَامِرَةِ
al fulkil jāriyati fil lujajil ghāmirah
The ark sailing in the overwhelming depths
8
يَأْمَنُ مَنْ رَكِبَهَا
ya-manu man rakibahā
Whoever boards it is safe
9
وَيَغْرَقُ مَنْ تَرَكَهَا
wayaghraqu man tarakahā
And whoever abandons it drowns
10
اَلْمُتَقَدِّمُ لَهُمْ مَارِقٌ
al mutaqaddimu lahum māriq
The one who precedes them is deviant
11
وَالْمُتَأَخِّرُ عَنْهُمْ زَاهِقٌ
walmuta-akhhiru `anhum zāhiq
And the one who lags behind them perishes
12
وَاللَّازِمُ لَهُمْ لاَحِقٌ
wal lāzimu lahum lāḥiq
And the one who adheres to them joins (salvation)
13
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
14
اَلْكَهْفِ الْحَصِينِ
al kahfil ḥaṣīn
The secure fortress
15
وَغِيَاثِ الْمُضْطَرِّ الْمُسْتَكِينِ
waghiyāthil muḍṭarril mustakīn
And the helper of the distressed and humble
16
وَمَلْجَاَ الْهَارِبِينَ
wamalja-al hāribīn
And the refuge of those who flee
17
وَعِصْمَةِ الْمُعْتَصِمِيْنَ
wa`iṣmatil mu`taṣimīn
And the protection of those who seek protection
18
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
19
صَلاةً كَثِيرَةً تَكُونُ لَهُمْ رِضًا
ṣalātan kathīratan takūnu lahum riḍā
Abundant blessings that please them
20
وَلِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ أَدَاءً وَقَضَاءً
waliḥaqqi muḥammadin wa āli muḥammadin adā-an waqaḍā-ā
And fulfill and discharge the rights of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
21
بِحَوْلٍ مِنْكَ وَقُوَّةٍ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
biḥawlin minka waquwwatin yā rabbal `ālamīn
By Your might and power, O Lord of the Worlds
22
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
23
اَلطَّيِّبِينَ الْأَبْرَارِ الْأَخْيَارِ
aṭ ṭayyibīnal abrāril akhyār
The pure, the virtuous, the excellent
24
اَلَّذِيْنَ أَوْجَبْتَ حُقُوقَهُمْ
al ladhīna awjabta ḥuqūqahum
Those whose rights You have made obligatory
25
وَفَرَضْتَ طَاعَتَهُمْ وَوِلايَتَهُمْ
wafaraḍta ṭā`atahum wawilāyatahum
And made their obedience and authority mandatory
26
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
27
وَاعْمُرْ قَلْبِىْ بِطَاعَتِكَ
wa`mur qalbī biṭā`atik
And build my heart with Your obedience
28
وَلَا تُخْزِنِيْ بِمَعْصِيَتِكَ
walā tukhzinī bima`ṣiyatik
And do not disgrace me with disobedience to You
29
وَارْزُقْنِيْ مُوَاسَاةَ مَنْ قَتَّرْتَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ رِزْقِكَ
war-zuqnī muwāsāta man qattar-ta `alayhi min rizqik
And grant me the ability to support those whose provision You have restricted
30
بِمَا وَسَّعْتَ عَلَيَّ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ
bimā wassa`ta `alayya min faḍlik
Through what You have expanded for me from Your grace
31
وَنَشَرْتَ عَلَيَّ مِنْ عَدْلِكَ
wanashar-ta `alayya min `adlik
And spread over me from Your justice
32
وَأَحْيَيْتَنِيْ تَحْتَ ظِلِّكَ
wa-aḥyaytanī taḥta ẓillik
And kept me alive under Your shade
33
وَهٰذَا شَهْرُ نَبِيِّكَ سَيِّدِ رُسُلِكَ
wahādhā shahru nabiyyika sayyidi rusulik
And this is the month of Your Prophet, the master of Your messengers
34
شَعْبَانُ الَّذِيْ حَفَفْتَهُ مِنْكَ بِالرَّحْمَةِ وَالرِّضْوَانِ
sha`bānul ladhī ḥafaftahu minka birraḥmati war riḍwān
Sha'ban, which You have surrounded with mercy and pleasure
35
اَلَّذِيْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ
al ladhī kāna rasūlullāhi ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa ālihi wasallam
In which the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his family
36
يَدْأَبُ فِيْ صِيَامِهِ وَقِيَامِهِ
yad-abu fī ṣiyāmihi waqiyāmih
Would exert himself in fasting and standing (in prayer)
37
فِيْ لَيَالِيهِ وَأَيَّامِهِ
fī layālīhi wa-ayyāmih
During its nights and days
38
بُخُوعًا لَكَ فِيْ إِكْرَامِهِ وَإِعْظَامِهِ
bukhū`an laka fī ikrāmihi wa-i`ẓāmih
In humility to You, honoring and venerating it
39
إِلٰى مَحَلِّ حِمَامِهِ
ilā maḥalli ḥimāmih
Until the time of his death
40
اَللّٰهُمَّ فَأَعِنَّا عَلَىْ الْإِسْتِنَانِ بِسُنَّتِهِ فِيهِ
allāhumma fa-a`innā `alal istināni bisunnatihi fīh
O Allah, help us to follow his tradition in it
41
وَنَيْلِ الشَّفَاعَةِ لَدَيْهِ
wanaylish shafā`ati ladayh
And to attain his intercession
42
اَللّٰهُمَّ وَاجْعَلْهُ لِيْ شَفِيعًا مُشَفَّعًا
allāhumma waj`alhu lī shafī`an mushaffa`ā
O Allah, make him an intercessor for me, whose intercession is accepted
43
وَطَرِيقًا إِلَيْكَ مَهْيَعًا
waṭarīqan ilayka mahya`ā
And a clear path towards You
44
وَاجْعَلْنِيْ لَهُ مُتَّبِعًا
waj`alnī lahu muttabi`ā
And make me a follower of him
45
حَتّىٰ أَلْقَاكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَنِّيْ رَاضِيًا
ḥattā alqāka yawmal qiyāmati `annī rāḍiyā
Until I meet You on the Day of Resurrection while You are pleased with me
46
وَعَنْ ذُنُوبِىْ غَاضِيًا
wa`an dhunūbī ghāḍiyā
And overlooking my sins
47
قَدْ أَوْجَبْتَ لِيْ مِنْكَ الرَّحْمَةَ وَالرِّضْوَانَ
qad awjabta lī minkar raḥmata war riḍwān
You having made obligatory for me Your mercy and pleasure
48
وَأَنْزَلْتَنِيْ دَارَ الْقَرَارِ وَمَحَلَّ الْأَخْيَارِ
wa-anzaltanī dāral qarāri wamaḥallal akhyār
And settled me in the abode of permanence and the place of the righteous
