بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send Your blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَللّٰهُمَّ يَا مُذِلَّ كُلِّ جَبَّار
allāhumma yā mudhilla kulli jabbār
O Allah, the One who humiliates every tyrant
2
وَيَا مُعِزَّ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
wayā mu`izzal mu-minīn
And the One who honors the believers
3
أَنْتَ كَهْفِيْ حِيْنَ تُعْيِينِيْ الْمَذَاهِبُ
anta kahfī ḥīna tu`yīnil madhāhib
You are my refuge when all paths exhaust me
4
وَأَنْتَ بَارِئُ خَلْقِيْ رَحْمَةً بِيْ
wa-anta bāri-u khalqī raḥmatan bī
And You are the Creator of my being, out of mercy for me
5
وَقَدْ كُنْتَ عَنْ خَلْقِيْ غَنِيًّا
waqad kunta `an khalqī ghaniyyā
And You were free from any need to create me
6
وَلَوْلَا رَحْمَتُكَ لَكُنْتُ مِنَ الْهَالِكِينَ
walawlā raḥmatuka lakuntu minal hālikīn
And if not for Your mercy, I would be among the perished ones
7
وَأَنْتَ مُؤَيِّدِيْ بِالنَّصْرِ عَلٰى أَعْدَائِي
wa-anta mu-ayyidī binnaṣri `alā a`dā-ī
And You are my supporter with victory over my enemies
8
وَلَوْلَا نَصْرُكَ إِيَّايَ لَكُنْتُ مِنَ الْمَفْضُوحِيْنَ
walawlā naṣruka iyyāya lakuntu minal mafḍūḥīn
And if not for Your help to me, I would be among the disgraced ones
9
يَا مُرْسِلَ الرَّحْمَةِ مِنْ مَعَادِنِهَا
yā mur-silar raḥmati min ma`ādinihā
O the One who sends mercy from its sources
10
وَمُنْشِئَ الْبَرَكَةِ مِنْ مَوَاضِعِهَا
wamunshi-al barakati min mawāḍi`ihā
And who originates blessings from their places
11
يَا مَنْ خَصَّ نَفْسَهُ بِالشُّمُوخِ وَالرِّفْعَةِ
yā man khaṣṣa nafsahu bishhumūkhi war rif`ah
O the One who has distinguished Himself with loftiness and elevation
12
فَأَوْلِيَاؤُهُ بِعِزِّهِ يَتَعَزَّزُونَ
fa-awliya-uhu bi`izzihi yata`azzazūn
So His friends are honored by His honor
13
وَيَا مَنْ وَضَعَتْ لَهُ الْمُلُوكُ نِيرَ الْمَذَلَّةِ عَلٰى أَعْنَاقِهِمْ
wayā man waḍa`at lahul mulūku nīral madhallati `alā a`nāqihim
And O the One before whom kings place the yoke of humility on their necks
14
فَهُمْ مِنْ سَطَوَاتِهِ خَائِفُونَ
fahum min saṭawātihi khā-ifūn
So they are fearful of His power
15
أَسْأَلُكَ بِكَيْنُونِيَّتِكَ الَّتِيْ اشْتَقَقْتَهَا مِنْ كِبْرِيَائِكَ
as-aluka bikaynūniyyatikal latishtaqaqtahā min kibriyā-ik
I ask You by Your essence which You derived from Your greatness
16
وَأَسْأَلُكَ بِكِبْرِيَائِكَ الَّتِيْ اشْتَقَقْتَهَا مِنْ عِزَّتِكَ
wa-as-aluka bikibriyā-ikal latishtaqaqtahā min `izzatik
And I ask You by Your greatness which You derived from Your might
17
وَأَسْأَلُكَ بِعِزَّتِكَ الَّتِيْ اسْتَوَيْتَ بِهَا عَلٰى عَرْشِكَ
wa-as-aluka bi`izzatikal latistawayta bihā `alā `ar-shik
And I ask You by Your might by which You established Yourself on Your throne
18
فَخَلَقْتَ بِهَا جَمِيعَ خَلْقِكَ
fakhalaqta bihā jamī`a khalqik
And by which You created all Your creation
19
فَهُمْ لَكَ مُذْعِنُونَ
fahum laka mudh`inūn
So they are submissive to You
20
أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ
an tuṣalliya `alā muḥammadin wa-ahli baytih
That You send blessings upon Muhammad and his household
