اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ آدَمَ صِفْوَةِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha-ādama ṣifwatillāh
Peace be upon you, O inheritor of Adam, the chosen one of Allah
2
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ نُوحٍ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha nūḥin nabiyyillāh
Peace be upon you, O inheritor of Noah, the prophet of Allah
3
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ خَلِيْلِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha ibrāhīma khalīlillāh
Peace be upon you, O inheritor of Abraham, the friend of Allah

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ مُوْسَى كَلِيْمِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha mūsā kalīmillāh
Peace be upon you, O inheritor of Moses, the one who spoke to Allah
5
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ عِيْسَى رُوْحِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha `īsā rūḥillāh
Peace be upon you, O inheritor of Jesus, the spirit of Allah
6
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ مُحَمَّدٍ حَبِيْبِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha muḥammadin ḥabībillāh
Peace be upon you, O inheritor of Muhammad, the beloved of Allah

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ أَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَلِيِّ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha amīril mu-minīna waliyyillāh
Peace be upon you, O inheritor of the Commander of the Faithful, the guardian of Allah
8
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُصْطَفَى
as salāmu `alayka yabna muḥammadinil muṣṭafā
Peace be upon you, O son of Muhammad the Chosen One
9
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَابْنَ عَلِيٍّ الْمُرْتَضَى
as salāmu `alayka yabna `aliyyinil mur-taḍā
Peace be upon you, O son of Ali the Pleased One
10
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَابْنَ فَاطِمَةَ الزَّهْرَاءِ
as salāmu `alayka yabna fāṭimataz zahrā
Peace be upon you, O son of Fatima the Radiant
11
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَابْنَ خَدِيْجَةَ الْكُبْرَى
as salāmu `alayka yabna khadījatal kubrā
Peace be upon you, O son of Khadija the Great
12
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ثَارَ اللَّهِ وَابْنَ ثَارِهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā thārallāhi wabna thārih
Peace be upon you, O vengeance of Allah and son of His vengeance
13
وَالْوِتْرَ الْمَوْتُوْرَ
walwitral mawtūr
And the lone one who was sacrificed
14
أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ قَدْ أَقَمْتَ الصَّلاَةَ
ash-hadu annaka qad aqamtaṣ ṣalāh
I bear witness that you established prayer
15
وَ آتَيْتَ الزَّكَاةَ
wa ātaytaz zakāh
And gave the alms
16
وَأَمَرْتَ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ
wa-amar-ta bil ma`rūf
And enjoined good
17
وَنَهَيْتَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ
wanahayta `anil munkar
And forbade evil
18
وَأَطَعْتَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ حَتَّى أَتَاكَ الْيَقِيْنُ
wa-aṭa`tallāha warasūlahu ḥattā atākal yaqīn
And obeyed Allah and His Messenger until certainty came to you
19
فَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً قَتَلَتْكَ
fala`anallāhu ummatan qatalatk
May Allah curse the nation that killed you
20
وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً ظَلَمَتْكَ
wala`anallāhu ummatan ẓalamatk
And may Allah curse the nation that oppressed you
21
وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً سَمِعَتْ بِذٰلِكَ فَرَضِيَتْ بِهِ
wala`anallāhu ummatan sami`at bidhālika faraḍiyat bih
And may Allah curse the nation that heard of this and was pleased with it
22
يَا مَوْلَايَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ
yā mawlāya yā abā `abdillāh
O my master, O Abu Abdullah
23
أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ كُنْتَ نُوْرًا فِيْ الْاَصْلاَبِ الشَّامِخَةِ
ash-hadu annaka kunta nūran fil aṣlābish shāmikhah
I bear witness that you were a light in the lofty loins
24
وَالْاَرْحَامِ الْمُطَهَّرَةِ
wal-ar-ḥāmil muṭahharah
And in the purified wombs
25
لَمْ تُنَجِّسْكَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةُ بِأَنْجَاسِهَا
lam tunajjiskal jāhiliyyatu bi-anjāsihā
The era of ignorance did not defile you with its impurities
26
وَلَمْ تُلْبِسْكَ مِنْ مُدْلَهِمَّاتِ ثِيَابِهَا
walam tulbiska min mudlahimmāti thiyābihā
Nor did it clothe you with its dark garments
27
وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ مِنْ دَعَائِمِ الدِّيْنِ
wa-ash-hadu annaka min da`ā-imid dīn
And I bear witness that you are among the pillars of religion
28
وَأَرْكَانِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
wa-ar-kānil mu-minīn
And the supports of the believers
29
وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ الْاِمَامُ الْبَرُّ التَّقِيُّ
wa-ash-hadu annakal imāmul barrut taqiyy
And I bear witness that you are the Imam who is righteous and pious
30
اَلرَّضِيُّ الزَّكِيُّ
ar raḍiyyuz zakiyy
Pleased and pure
31
اَلْهَادِيُ الْمَهْدِيُّ
al hādiyul mahdiyy
The guide and the guided one
32
وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ الْاَئِمَّةَ مِنْ وُلْدِكَ كَلِمَةُ التَّقْوَى
wa-ash-hadu annal a-immata min wuldika kalimatut taqwā
And I bear witness that the Imams from your progeny are the word of piety
33
وَأَعْلاَمُ الْهُدَى
wa-a`lāmul hudā
And the signs of guidance
34
وَالْعُرْوَةُ الْوُثْقَى
wal`ur-watul wuthqā
And the firmest handhold
35
وَالْحُجَّةُ عَلَى أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا
walḥujjatu `alā ahlid dunyā
And the proof upon the people of the world
36
وَأُشْهِدُ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ
wa-ush-hidullāha wamalā-ikatah
And I call Allah and His angels
37
وَأَنْبِيَاءَهُ وَرُسُلَهُ
wa-anbiyā-ahu warusulah
And His prophets and messengers to witness
38
أَنِّيْ بِكُمْ مُؤْمِنٌ وَبِإِيَابِكُمْ مُوقِنٌ
annī bikum mu-minun wabi-iyābikum mūqin
That I believe in you and I am certain of your return
39
بِشَرَائِعِ دِينِيْ وَخَوَاتِيْمِ عَمَلِي
bisharā-i`i dīnī wakhawātīmi `amalī
With the laws of my religion and the final deeds of my life
40
وَقَلْبِيْ لِقَلْبِكُمْ سِلْمٌ
waqalbī liqalbikum silm
And my heart is at peace with your heart
41
وَأَمْرِيْ لِأَمْرِكُمْ مُتَّبِعٌ
wa-amrī li-amrikum muttabi`
And my affairs follow your command
42
صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَعَلَى أَرْوَاحِكُمْ
ṣalawātullāhi `alaykum wa`alā ar-wāḥikum
May the blessings of Allah be upon you and upon your souls
43
وَعَلَى أَجْسَادِكُمْ وَعَلَى أَجْسَامِكُمْ
wa`alā ajsādikum wa`alā ajsāmikum
And upon your bodies and your forms
44
وَعَلَى شَاهِدِكُمْ وَعَلَى غَائِبِكُمْ
wa`alā shāhidikum wa`alā ghā-ibikum
And upon your present and your absent ones
45
وَعَلَى ظَاهِرِكُمْ وَعَلَى بَاطِنِكُمْ
wa`alā ẓāhirikum wa`alā bāṭinikum
And upon your apparent and your hidden aspects
46
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَابْنَ رَسُوْلِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yabna rasūlillāh
Peace be upon you, O son of the Messenger of Allah
47
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَابْنَ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yabna nabiyyillāh
Peace be upon you, O son of the Prophet of Allah
48
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَابْنَ أَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
as salāmu `alayka yabna amīril mu-minīn
Peace be upon you, O son of the Commander of the Faithful
49
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَابْنَ الْحُسَيْنِ الشَّهِيْدِ
as salāmu `alayka yabnal ḥusaynish shahīd
Peace be upon you, O son of Husayn the Martyr
50
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا الشَّهِيْدُ وَابْنُ الشَّهِيْدِ
as salāmu `alayka ayyuhash shahīdu wabnush shahīd
Peace be upon you, O martyr and son of the martyr
51
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا الْمَظْلُوْمُ وَابْنُ الْمَظْلُوْمِ
as salāmu `alayka ayyuhal maẓlūmu wabnul maẓlūm
Peace be upon you, O oppressed one and son of the oppressed one
52
لَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً قَتَلَتْكَ
la`anallāhu ummatan qatalatk
May Allah curse the nation that killed you
53
وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً ظَلَمَتْكَ
wala`anallāhu ummatan ẓalamatk
And may Allah curse the nation that oppressed you
54
وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً سَمِعَتْ بِذٰلِكَ فَرَضِيَتْ بِهِ
wala`anallāhu ummatan sami`at bidhālika faraḍiyat bih
And may Allah curse the nation that heard of this and was pleased with it
Ziarat of all the martyrs
55
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا أَوْلِيَاءَ اللَّهِ وَأَحِبَّائَهُ
as salāmu `alaykum yā awliyā-allāhi wa-aḥibbā-ah
Peace be upon you, O friends of Allah and His beloved ones
56
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا أَصْفِيَاءَ اللَّهِ وَأَوِدَّاءَهُ
as salāmu `alaykum yā aṣfiyā-allāhi wa-awiddā-ah
Peace be upon you, O chosen ones of Allah and His intimate ones
57
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا أَنْصَارَ دِيْنِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alaykum yā anṣāra dīnillāh
Peace be upon you, O helpers of the religion of Allah
58
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا أَنْصَارَ رَسُوْلِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alaykum yā anṣāra rasūlillāh
Peace be upon you, O helpers of the Messenger of Allah
59
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا أَنْصَارَ أَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
as salāmu `alaykum yā anṣāra amīril mu-minīn
Peace be upon you, O helpers of the Commander of the Faithful
60
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا أَنْصَارَ فَاطِمَةَ سَيِّدَةِ نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
as salāmu `alaykum yā anṣāra fāṭimata sayyidati nisā-il `ālamīn
Peace be upon you, O helpers of Fatima, the leader of the women of the worlds
61
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا أَنْصَارَ أَبِيْ مُحَمَّدٍ
as salāmu `alaykum yā anṣāra abī muḥammad
Peace be upon you, O helpers of Abu Muhammad
62
اَلْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْوَلِيِّ الزَّكِيِّ النَّاصِحِ
al ḥasanibni `aliyyinal waliyyiz zakiyyin nāṣiḥ
Al-Hasan ibn Ali, the guardian, the pure, the sincere one
63
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا أَنْصَارَ أَبِيْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alaykum yā anṣāra abī `abdillāh
Peace be upon you, O helpers of Abu Abdullah
64
بِأَبِيْ أَنْتُمْ وَأُمِّي
bi-abī antum wa-ummī
May my father and mother be sacrificed for you
65
طِبْتُمْ وَطَابَتِ الْاَرْضُ الَّتِيْ فِيْهَا دُفِنْتُمْ
ṭibtum waṭābatil ar-ḍul latī fīhā dufintum
You are pure and pure is the earth in which you are buried
66
وَفُزْتُمْ فَوْزًا عَظيْمًا
wafuztum fawzan `aẓymā
And you have achieved a great victory
67
فَيَا لَيْتَنِيْ كُنْتُ مَعَكُمْ فَأَفُوْزَ مَعَكُمْ
fayā laytanī kuntu ma`akum fa-afūza ma`akum
How I wish I were with you, so that I might triumph with you
68
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا اَبَا الْفَضْلِ الْعَبَّاسَ
as salāmu `alayka yā abal faḍlil `abbās
Peace be upon you, O Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas
69
اِبْنِ اَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
ibni amīril mu-minīn
Son of the Commander of the Faithful
70
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَابْنَ سَيِّدِ الْوَصِيِّيْنَ
as salāmu `alayka yabna sayyidil waṣiyyīn
Peace be upon you, O son of the master of successors
71
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَابْنَ اَوَّلِ الْقَوْمِ اِسْلاَمًا
as salāmu `alayka yabna awwalil qawmi islāmā
Peace be upon you, O son of the first of the people to embrace Islam
72
وَ اَقْدَمِهِمْ اِيْمَانًا
wa aqdamihim īmānā
And the earliest of them in faith
73
وَ اَقْوَمِهِمْ بِدِيْنِ اللَّهِ
wa aqwamihim bidīnillāh
And the most steadfast of them in the religion of Allah
74
وَ اَحْوَطِهِمْ عَلَى الْإِسْلاَمِ
wa aḥwaṭihim `alal islām
And the most protective of them over Islam
75
اَشْهَدُ لَقَدْ نَصَحْتَ لِلَّهِ
ash-hadu laqad naṣaḥta lillāh
I bear witness that you were sincere to Allah
76
وَ لِرَسُوْلِهِ
wa lirasūlih
And to His Messenger
77
وَ لِأَخِيْكَ
wa li-akhīk
And to your brother
78
فَنِعْمَ الْأَخُ الْمُوَاسِي
fani`mal akhul muwāsī
So excellent is the consoling brother
79
فَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ اُمَّةً قَتَلَتْكَ
fala`anallāhu ummatan qatalatk
May Allah curse the nation that killed you
80
وَ لَعَنَ اللَّهُ اُمَّةً ظَلَمَتْكَ
wa la`anallāhu ummatan ẓalamatk
And may Allah curse the nation that wronged you
81
وَ لَعَنَ اللَّهُ اُمَّةً
wa la`anallāhu ummah
And may Allah curse the nation
82
اِسْتَحَلَّتْ مِنْكَ الْمَحَارِمَ
istaḥallat minkal maḥārim
That violated what was forbidden from you
83
وَانْتَهَكَتْ حُرْمَةَ الْاِسْلاَمِ
wantahakat ḥur-matal islām
And desecrated the sanctity of Islam
84
فَنِعْمَ الصَّابِرُ الْمُجَاهِدُ
fani`maṣ ṣābirul mujāhid
How excellent is the patient warrior
85
اَلْمُحَامِيْ النَّاصِرُ
al muḥāmin nāṣir
The defender, the helper
86
وَالْأَخُ الدَّافِعُ عَنْ اَخِيْهِ
wal-akhud dāfi`u `an akhīh
And the brother who protected his brother
87
اَلْمُجِيْبُ اِلَى طَاعَةِ رَبِّهِ
al mujību ilā ṭā`ati rabbih
The one who responded to the obedience of his Lord
88
اَلرَّاغِبُ فِيْمَا زَهِدَ فِيْهِ غَيْرُهُ
ar rāghibu fīmā zahida fīhi ghayruh
The one who desired what others abstained from
89
مِنَ الثَّوَابِ الْجَزِيْلِ
minath thawābil jazīl
Of abundant reward
90
وَ الثَّنَاءِ الْجَمِيْلِ
wath thanā-il jamīl
And beautiful praise
91
وَ اَلْحَقَكَ اللَّهُ بِدَرَجَةِ آبَائِكَ فِيْ جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيْمِ
wa alḥaqakallāhu bidarajati-ābā-ika fī jannātin na`īm
And may Allah join you with the rank of your forefathers in the gardens of bliss
