بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
al ḥamdu lillāhi rabbil `ālamīn
All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds
2
اَللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ بَدِيعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ
allāhumma lakal ḥamdu badī`as samāwāti wal ar-ḍ
O Allah, praise belongs to You, Originator of the heavens and the earth
3
ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْإِكْرَامِ
dhal jalāli wal ikrām
Possessor of majesty and honor
4
رَبَّ الْأَرْبَابِ وَ إِلَهَ كُلِّ مَأْلُوهٍ
rabbal ar-bābi wa ilaha kulli ma-lūh
Lord of lords and God of everything worshipped
5
وَ خَالِقَ كُلِّ مَخْلُوقٍ
wa khāliqa kulli makhlūq
Creator of everything created
6
وَ وَارِثَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ
wa wāritha kulli shay-in laysa kamithlihi shay
Inheritor of all things, nothing is like You
7
وَ لَا يَعْزُبُ عَنْهُ عِلْمُ شَيْء
wa lā ya`zubu `anhu `ilmu shay
No knowledge of anything escapes You
8
وَ هُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُحِيطٌ
wa huwa bikulli shay-in muḥīṭ
And You encompass everything
9
وَ هُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ رَقِيبٌ
wa huwa `alā kulli shay-in raqīb
And You are the Watcher over everything
10
أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْأَحَدُ الْمُتَوَحِّدُ الْفَرْدُ الْمُتَفَرِّدُ
antallāhu lā ilaha illā antal aḥadul mutawaḥḥidul far-dul mutafarrid
You are Allah, there is no god but You, the One, the Unique, the Singular, the Peerless
11
وَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْكَرِيمُ الْمُتَكَرِّمُ
wa antallāhu lā ilaha illā antal karīmul mutakarrim
And You are Allah, there is no god but You, the Generous, the Most Generous
12
اَلْعَظِيمُ الْمُتَعَظِّمُ الْكَبِيرُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُ
al `aẓīmul muta`aẓẓimul kabīrul mutakabbir
The Great, the Most Great, the Grand, the Most Grand
13
وَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْعَلِيُّ الْمُتَعَالِ الشَّدِيدُ الْمِحَالِ
wa antallāhu lā ilaha illā antal `aliyyul muta`ālish shadīdul miḥāl
And You are Allah, there is no god but You, the Most High, the Exalted, the Strong in Might
14
وَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الرَّحْمَنُ الرَّحِيمُ الْعَلِيمُ الْحَكِيمُ
wa antallāhu lā ilaha illā antar raḥmanur raḥīmul `alīmul ḥakīm
And You are Allah, there is no god but You, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful, the All-Knowing, the Wise
15
وَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ الْقَدِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ
wa antallāhu lā ilaha illā antas samī`ul baṣīrul qadīmul khabīr
And You are Allah, there is no god but You, the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing, the Eternal, the All-Aware
16
وَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْكَرِيمُ الْأَكْرَمُ الدَّائِمُ الْأَدْوَمُ
wa antallāhu lā ilaha illā antal karīmul akramud dā-imul adwam
And You are Allah, there is no god but You, the Generous, the Most Generous, the Everlasting, the Most Enduring
17
وَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْأَوَّلُ
wa antallāhu lā ilaha illā antal awwal
And You are Allah, there is no god but You, the First
18
قَبْلَ كُلِّ أَحَدٍ وَ الْآخِرُ بَعْدَ كُلِّ عَدَدٍ
qabla kulli aḥadin wal-ākhiru ba`da kulli `adad
Before anyone, and the Last after everything
19
وَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الدَّانِيْ فِيْ عُلُوِّهِ
wa antallāhu lā ilaha illā antad dānī fī `uluwwih
And You are Allah, there is no god but You, the Near in His exaltedness
20
وَ الْعَالِيْ فِيْ دُنُوِّهِ
wal `ālī fī dunuwwih
And the High in His nearness
21
وَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ ذُوْ الْبَهَاءِ وَ الْمَجْدِ وَ الْكِبْرِيَاءِ وَ الْحَمْدِ
wa antallāhu lā ilaha illā anta dhul bahā-i wal majdi wal kibriyā-i wal ḥamd
And You are Allah, there is no god but You, Possessor of Splendor, Glory, Greatness and Praise
22
وَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الَّذِيْ أَنْشَأْتَ الْأَشْيَاءَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سِنْخٍ
wa antallāhu lā ilaha illā antal ladhī ansha-tal ashyā-a min ghayri sinkh
And You are Allah, there is no god but You, who created all things from nothing
23
وَ صَوَّرْتَ مَا صَوَّرْتَ مِنْ غَيْرِ مِثَالٍ
wa ṣawwar-ta mā ṣawwar-ta min ghayri mithāl
And designed what You designed without a model
24
وَ ابْتَدَعْتَ الْمُبْتَدَعَاتِ بِلَا احْتِذَاءٍ
wabtada`tal mubtada`āti bilaḥtidha
And originated creations without imitation
25
أَنْتَ الَّذِيْ قَدَّرْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ تَقْدِيرًا
antal ladhī qaddar-ta kulla shay-in taqdīrā
You are the One who ordained everything perfectly
26
وَ يَسَّرْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ تَيْسِيرًا
wa yassar-ta kulla shay-in taysīrā
And made everything easy with facilitation
27
وَ دَبَّرْتَ مَا دُونَكَ تَدْبِيرًا
wa dabbar-ta mā dūnaka tadbīrā
And managed what is below You with perfect arrangement
28
أَنْتَ الَّذِيْ لَمْ يُعِنْكَ عَلَى خَلْقِكَ شَرِيكٌ
antal ladhī lam yu`inka `alā khalqika sharīk
You are the One whom no partner helped in Your creation
29
وَ لَمْ يُوَازِرْكَ فِيْ أَمْرِكَ وَزِيرٌ
wa lam yuwāzir-ka fī amrika wazīr
And no minister assisted You in Your command
30
وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَكَ مُشَاهِدٌ وَ لَا نَظِيرٌ
wa lam yakun laka mushāhidun wa lā naẓīr
And You had no witness and no equal
31
أَنْتَ الَّذِيْ أَرَدْتَ فَكَانَ حَتْمًا مَا أَرَدْتَ
antal ladhī aradta fakāna ḥatman mā aradt
You are the One who willed, and what You willed was inevitable
32
وَ قَضَيْتَ فَكَانَ عَدْلًا مَا قَضَيْتَ
wa qaḍayta fakāna `adlan mā qaḍayt
And You judged, and what You judged was just
33
وَ حَكَمْتَ فَكَانَ نِصْفًا مَا حَكَمْتَ
wa ḥakamta fakāna niṣfan mā ḥakamt
And You ruled, and what You ruled was fair
34
أَنْتَ الَّذِيْ لَا يَحْوِيكَ مَكَانٌ
antal ladhī lā yaḥwīka makān
You are the One whom no place can contain
35
وَ لَمْ يَقُمْ لِسُلْطَانِكَ سُلْطَانٌ
wa lam yaqum lisulṭānika sulṭān
And no authority can stand against Your authority
36
وَ لَمْ يُعْيِكَ بُرْهَانٌ وَ لَا بَيَانٌ
wa lam yu`yika bur-hānun wa lā bayān
And no proof or evidence can exhaust You
37
أَنْتَ الَّذِيْ أَحْصَيْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عَدَدًا
antal ladhī aḥṣayta kulla shay-in `adadā
You are the One who has counted everything in number
38
وَ جَعَلْتَ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ أَمَدًا
wa ja`alta likulli shay-in amadā
And set a term for everything
39
وَ قَدَّرْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ تَقْدِيرًا
wa qaddar-ta kulla shay-in taqdīrā
And ordained everything with precision
40
أَنْتَ الَّذِيْ قَصُرَتِ الْأَوْهَامُ عَنْ ذَاتِيَّتِكَ
antal ladhī qaṣuratil awhāmu `an dhātiyyatik
You are the One from whose essence imaginations fall short
41
وَ عَجَزَتِ الْأَفْهَامُ عَنْ كَيْفِيَّتِكَ
wa `ajazatil afhāmu `an kayfiyyatik
And understanding fails to grasp Your nature
42
وَ لَمْ تُدْرِكِ الْأَبْصَارُ مَوْضِعَ أَيْنِيَّتِكَ
wa lam tudrikil abṣāru mawḍi`a ayniyyatik
And eyes cannot perceive Your whereabouts
43
أَنْتَ الَّذِيْ لَا تُحَدُّ فَتَكُونَ مَحْدُودًا
antal ladhī lā tuḥaddu fatakūna maḥdūdā
You are the One who cannot be limited to be bounded
44
وَ لَمْ تُمَثَّلْ فَتَكُونَ مَوْجُودًا
wa lam tumathhal fatakūna mawjūdā
And cannot be exemplified to be found
45
وَ لَمْ تَلِدْ فَتَكُونَ مَوْلُودًا
wa lam talid fatakūna mawlūdā
And did not beget to be born
46
أَنْتَ الَّذِيْ لَا ضِدَّ مَعَكَ فَيُعَانِدَكَ
antal ladhī lā ḍidda ma`aka fayu`ānidak
You are the One who has no opponent to resist You
47
وَ لَا عِدْلَ لَكَ فَيُكَاثِرَكَ وَ لَا نِدَّ لَكَ فَيُعَارِضَكَ
wa lā `idla laka fayukāthiraka wa lā nidda laka fayu`āriḍak
And no equal to rival You, and no peer to oppose You
48
أَنْتَ الَّذِيْ ابْتَدَأَ وَ اخْتَرَعَ
antal ladhibtada-a wakhtara`
You are the One who initiated and invented
49
وَ اسْتَحْدَثَ وَ ابْتَدَعَ
wastaḥdatha wabtada`
And brought into being and created
50
وَ أَحْسَنَ صُنْعَ مَا صَنَعَ
wa aḥsana ṣun`a mā ṣana`
And made excellent all that You made
51
سُبْحَانَكَ مَا أَجَلَّ شَأْنَكَ
subḥānaka mā ajalla sha-nak
Glory be to You! How majestic is Your status!
52
وَ أَسْنَى فِيْ الْأَمَاكِنِ مَكَانَكَ
wa asnā fil amākini makānak
How exalted is Your place among all places!
53
وَ أَصْدَعَ بِالْحَقِّ فُرْقَانَكَ
wa aṣda`a bil ḥaqqi fur-qānak
How clearly Your criterion distinguishes truth!
54
سُبْحَانَكَ مِنْ لَطِيفٍ مَا أَلْطَفَكَ
subḥānaka min laṭīfin mā alṭafak
Glory be to You! How subtle You are in Your subtlety!
55
وَ رَؤُوفٍ مَا أَرْأَفَكَ وَ حَكِيمٍ مَا أَعْرَفَكَ
wa ra-ūfin mā ar-afaka wa ḥakīmin mā a`rafak
How compassionate in Your compassion! How wise in Your wisdom!
56
سُبْحَانَكَ مِنْ مَلِيكٍ مَا أَمْنَعَكَ
subḥānaka min malīkin mā amna`ak
Glory be to You! How mighty You are in Your might!
57
وَ جَوَادٍ مَا أَوْسَعَكَ وَ رَفِيعٍ مَا أَرْفَعَكَ
wa jawādin mā awsa`aka wa rafī`in mā ar-fa`ak
How generous in Your generosity! How lofty in Your loftiness!
58
ذُوْ الْبَهَاءِ وَ الْمَجْدِ وَ الْكِبْرِيَاءِ وَ الْحَمْدِ
dhul bahā-i wal majdi wal kibriyā-i wal ḥamd
Possessor of splendor, glory, greatness, and praise
59
سُبْحَانَكَ بَسَطْتَ بِالْخَيْرَاتِ يَدَكَ
subḥānaka basaṭta bil khayrāti yadak
Glory be to You! You have extended Your hand with blessings
60
وَ عُرِفَتِ الْهِدَايَةُ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ
wa `urifatil hidāyatu min `indik
And guidance is recognized as coming from You
61
فَمَنِ الْتَمَسَكَ لِدِينٍ أَوْ دُنْيَا وَجَدَكَ
famanil tamasaka lidīnin aw dunyā wajadak
So whoever seeks You for religion or worldly life finds You
62
سُبْحَانَكَ خَضَعَ لَكَ مَنْ جَرَى فِيْ عِلْمِكَ
subḥānaka khaḍa`a laka man jarā fī `ilmik
Glory be to You! All who are in Your knowledge submit to You
63
وَ خَشَعَ لِعَظَمَتِكَ مَا دُوْنَ عَرْشِكَ
wa khasha`a li`aẓamatika mā dūna `ar-shik
All that is beneath Your throne humbles itself before Your greatness
64
وَ انْقَادَ لِلتَّسْلِيمِ لَكَ كُلُّ خَلْقِكَ
wanqāda littaslīmi laka kullu khalqik
And all Your creation yields to submission to You
65
سُبْحَانَكَ لَا تُحَسُّ وَ لَا تُجَسُّ وَ لَا تُمَسُّ
subḥānaka lā tuḥassu wa lā tujassu wa lā tumass
Glory be to You! You cannot be sensed, felt, or touched
66
وَ لَا تُكَادُ وَ لَا تُمَاطُ وَ لَا تُنَازَعُ وَ لَا تُجَارَى
wa lā tukādu wa lā tumāṭu wa lā tunāza`u wa lā tujārā
You cannot be deceived, eluded, disputed, rivaled
67
وَ لَا تُمَارَى وَ لَا تُخَادَعُ وَ لَا تُمَاكَرُ
wa lā tumārā wa lā tukhāda`u wa lā tumākar
Or contended with, outwitted, or outmaneuvered
68
سُبْحَانَكَ سَبِيلُكَ جَدَدٌ وَ أَمْرُكَ رَشَدٌ وَ أَنْتَ حَيٌّ صَمَدٌ
subḥānaka sabīluka jadadun wa amruka rashadun wa anta ḥayyun ṣamad
Glory be to You! Your path is direct, Your command is guidance, and You are the Ever-Living, Self-Subsisting
69
سُبْحَانَكَ قَوْلُكَ حُكْمٌ وَ قَضَاؤُكَ حَتْمٌ وَ إِرَادَتُكَ عَزْمٌ
subḥānaka qawluka ḥukmun wa qaḍa-uka ḥatmun wa irādatuka `azm
Glory be to You! Your word is judgment, Your decree is inevitable, and Your will is determination
70
سُبْحَانَكَ لَا رَادَّ لِمَشِيَّتِكَ وَ لَا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَاتِكَ
subḥānaka lā rādda limashiyyatika wa lā mubaddila likalimātik
Glory be to You! None can repel Your will and none can change Your words
71
سُبْحَانَكَ بَاهِرَ الْآيَاتِ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ بَارِئَ النَّسَمَاتِ
subḥānaka bāhiral-āyāti fāṭiras samāwāti bāri-an nasamāt
Glory be to You! Manifest in signs, Originator of the heavens, Creator of souls
72
لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا يَدُومُ بِدَوَامِكَ
lakal ḥamdu ḥamdan yadūmu bidawāmik
To You belongs praise that lasts as long as You last
73
وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا خَالِدًا بِنِعْمَتِكَ
wa lakal ḥamdu ḥamdan khālidan bini`matik
And to You belongs praise that is eternal with Your blessing
74
وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا يُوَازِيْ صُنْعَكَ
wa lakal ḥamdu ḥamdan yuwāzī ṣun`ak
And to You belongs praise that equals Your creation
75
وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا يَزِيدُ عَلَى رِضَاكَ
wa lakal ḥamdu ḥamdan yazīdu `alā riḍāk
And to You belongs praise that exceeds Your pleasure
76
وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا مَعَ حَمْدِ كُلِّ حَامِدٍ
wa lakal ḥamdu ḥamdan ma`a ḥamdi kulli ḥāmid
And to You belongs praise along with the praise of every praiser
77
وَ شُكْرًا يَقْصُرُ عَنْهُ شُكْرُ كُلِّ شَاكِرٍ
wa shukran yaqṣuru `anhu shukru kulli shākir
And thanks that falls short of the thanks of every thankful one
78
حَمْدًا لَا يَنْبَغِيْ إِلَّا لَكَ
ḥamdan lā yanbaghī illā lak
Praise that befits none but You
79
وَ لَا يُتَقَرَّبُ بِهِ إِلَّا إِلَيْكَ
wa lā yutaqarrabu bihi illā ilayk
And is offered to none but You
80
حَمْدًا يُسْتَدَامُ بِهِ الْأَوَّلُ
ḥamdan yustadāmu bihil awwal
Praise by which the first is sustained
81
وَ يُسْتَدْعَى بِهِ دَوَامُ الْآخِرِ
wa yustad`ā bihi dawāmul-ākhir
And the continuance of the last is sought
82
حَمْدًا يَتَضَاعَفُ عَلَى كُرُورِ الْأَزْمِنَةِ
ḥamdan yataḍā`afu `alā kurūril azminah
Praise that multiplies through the passing of ages
83
وَ يَتَزَايَدُ أَضْعَافًا مُتَرَادِفَةً
wa yatazāyadu aḍ`āfan mutarādifah
And increases in successive multitudes
84
حَمْدًا يَعْجِزُ عَنْ إِحْصَائِهِ الْحَفَظَةُ
ḥamdan ya`jizu `an iḥṣā-ihil ḥafaẓah
Praise that the recording angels cannot enumerate
85
وَ يَزِيدُ عَلَى مَا أَحْصَتْهُ فِيْ كِتَابِكَ الْكَتَبَةُ
wa yazīdu `alā mā aḥṣat-hu fī kitābikal katabah
And exceeds what the scribes have recorded in Your Book
86
حَمْدًا يُوَازِنُ عَرْشَكَ الْمَجِيدَ
ḥamdan yuwāzinu `ar-shakal majīd
Praise that balances Your Glorious Throne
87
وَ يُعَادِلُ كُرْسِيَّكَ الرَّفِيعَ
wa yu`ādilu kur-siyyakar rafī`
And equals Your Elevated Chair
88
حَمْدًا يَكْمُلُ لَدَيْكَ ثَوَابُهُ
ḥamdan yakmulu ladayka thawābuh
Praise whose reward is complete with You
89
وَ يَسْتَغْرِقُ كُلَّ جَزَاءٍ جَزَاؤُهُ
wa yastaghriqu kulla jazā-in jaza-uh
And whose recompense exhausts all other recompense
90
حَمْدًا ظَاهِرُهُ وَفْقٌ لِبَاطِنِهِ
ḥamdan ẓāhiruhu wafqun libāṭinih
Praise whose outward conforms to its inward
91
وَ بَاطِنُهُ وَفْقٌ لِصِدْقِ النِّيَّةِ
wa bāṭinuhu wafqun liṣidqin niyyah
And whose inward conforms to sincere intention
92
حَمْدًا لَمْ يَحْمَدْكَ خَلْقٌ مِثْلَهُ
ḥamdan lam yaḥmadka khalqun mithlah
Praise with which no created being has praised You before
93
وَ لَا يَعْرِفُ أَحَدٌ سِوَاكَ فَضْلَهُ
wa lā ya`rifu aḥadun siwāka faḍlah
And whose excellence none knows besides You
94
حَمْدًا يُعَانُ مَنِ اجْتَهَدَ فِيْ تَعْدِيْدِهِ
ḥamdan yu`ānu manijtahada fī ta`dīdih
Praise in which whoever strives to enumerate is supported
95
وَ يُؤَيَّدُ مَنْ أَغْرَقَ نَزْعًا فِيْ تَوْفِيَتِهِ
wa yu-ayyadu man aghraqa naz`an fī tawfiyatih
And whoever draws deeply into its exhaustion is assisted
96
حَمْدًا يَجْمَعُ مَا خَلَقْتَ مِنَ الْحَمْدِ
ḥamdan yajma`u mā khalaqta minal ḥamd
Praise that combines all praise You have created
97
وَ يَنْتَظِمُ مَا أَنْتَ خَالِقُهُ مِنْ بَعْدُ
wa yantaẓimu mā anta khāliquhu min ba`d
And organizes what You will create thereafter
98
حَمْدًا لَا حَمْدَ أَقْرَبُ إِلَى قَوْلِكَ مِنْهُ
ḥamdan lā ḥamda aqrabu ilā qawlika minh
Praise closer to Your word than any other praise
99
وَ لَا أَحْمَدَ مِمَّنْ يَحْمَدُكَ بِهِ
wa lā aḥmada mimman yaḥmaduka bih
And of which none is more praiseworthy than he who praises You with it
100
حَمْدًا يُوجِبُ بِكَرَمِكَ الْمَزِيدَ بِوُفُورِهِ
ḥamdan yūjibu bikaramikal mazīda biwufūrih
Praise which through Your generosity incites abundant increase
101
وَ تَصِلُهُ بِمَزِيدٍ بَعْدَ مَزِيدٍ طَوْلًا مِنْكَ
wa taṣiluhu bimazīdin ba`da mazīdin ṭawlan mink
And which You connect with more and more of Your bounty
102
حَمْدًا يَجِبُ لِكَرَمِ وَجْهِكَ وَ يُقَابِلُ عِزَّ جَلَالِكَ
ḥamdan yajibu likarami wajhika wa yuqābilu `izza jalālik
Praise that befits the generosity of Your face and meets the might of Your majesty
103
رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
rabbi ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
My Lord, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
104
اَلْمُنْتَجَبِ الْمُصْطَفَى
al muntajabil muṣṭafā
The chosen, the selected one
105
اَلْمُكَرَّمِ الْمُقَرَّبِ أَفْضَلَ صَلَوَاتِكَ
al mukarramil muqarrabi afḍala ṣalawātik
The honored, the near one, with the best of Your blessings
106
وَ بَارِكْ عَلَيْهِ أَتَمَّ بَرَكَاتِكَ
wa bārik `alayhi atamma barakātik
And bestow upon him the most perfect of Your benedictions
107
وَ تَرَحَّمْ عَلَيْهِ أَمْتَعَ رَحَمَاتِكَ
wa taraḥḥam `alayhi amta`a raḥamātik
And have mercy upon him with the most enjoyable of Your mercies
108
رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ صَلَاةً زَاكِيَةً
rabbi ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa-ālihi ṣalātan zākiyah
My Lord, bless Muhammad and his family with a blessing that is pure
109
لَا تَكُونُ صَلَاةٌ أَزْكَى مِنْهَا
lā takūnu ṣalātun azkā minhā
With no blessing purer than it
110
وَ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ صَلَاةً نَامِيَةً
wa ṣalli `alayhi ṣalātan nāmiyah
And bless him with a blessing that increases
111
لَا تَكُونُ صَلَاةٌ أَنْمَى مِنْهَا
lā takūnu ṣalātun anmā minhā
With no blessing increasing more than it
112
وَ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ صَلَاةً رَاضِيَةً
wa ṣalli `alayhi ṣalātan rāḍiyah
And bless him with a blessing that pleases
113
لَا تَكُونُ صَلَاةٌ فَوْقَهَا
lā takūnu ṣalātun fawqahā
With no blessing beyond it
114
رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
rabbi ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa-ālih
My Lord, bless Muhammad and his family
115
صَلَاةً تُرْضِيهِ وَ تَزِيدُ عَلَى رِضَاهُ
ṣalātan tur-ḍīhi wa tazīdu `alā riḍāh
With a blessing that pleases him and exceeds his pleasure
116
وَ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ صَلَاةً تُرْضِيكَ وَ تَزِيدُ عَلَى رِضَاكَ لَهُ
wa ṣalli `alayhi ṣalātan tur-ḍīka wa tazīdu `alā riḍāka lah
And bless him with a blessing that pleases You and exceeds Your pleasure for him
117
وَ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ صَلَاةً لَا تَرْضَى لَهُ إِلَّا بِهَا
wa ṣalli `alayhi ṣalātan lā tar-ḍā lahu illā bihā
And bless him with a blessing that You see he deserves only through it
118
وَ لَا تَرَى غَيْرَهُ لَهَا أَهْلًا
wa lā tarā ghayrahu lahā ahlā
And no one else deserves it
119
رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
rabbi ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa-ālih
My Lord, bless Muhammad and his family
120
صَلَاةً تُجَاوِزُ رِضْوَانَكَ وَ يَتَّصِلُ اتِّصَالُهَا بِبَقَائِكَ
ṣalātan tujāwizu riḍwānaka wa yattaṣiluttiṣāluhā bibaqā-ik
With a blessing that surpasses Your pleasure and its continuance connects with Your eternity
121
وَ لَا يَنْفَدُ كَمَا لَا تَنْفَدُ كَلِمَاتُكَ
wa lā yanfadu kamā lā tanfadu kalimātuk
And does not expire, just as Your words do not expire
122
رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
rabbi ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa-ālih
My Lord, bless Muhammad and his family
123
صَلَاةً تَنْتَظِمُ صَلَوَاتِ مَلَائِكَتِكَ
ṣalātan tantaẓimu ṣalawāti malā-ikatik
With a blessing that encompasses the blessings of Your angels
124
وَ أَنْبِيَائِكَ وَ رُسُلِكَ وَ أَهْلِ طَاعَتِكَ
wa anbiyā-ika wa rusulika wa ahli ṭā`atik
Your prophets, Your messengers, and those who obey You
125
وَ تَشْتَمِلُ عَلَى صَلَوَاتِ عِبَادِكَ
wa tashtamilu `alā ṣalawāti `ibādik
And comprises the blessings of Your servants
126
مِنْ جِنِّكَ وَ إِنْسِكَ وَ أَهْلِ إِجَابَتِكَ
min jinnika wa insika wa ahli ijābatik
From among Your jinn and mankind and those who answer Your call
127
وَ تَجْتَمِعُ عَلَى صَلَاةِ كُلِّ مَنْ ذَرَأْتَ وَ بَرَأْتَ مِنْ أَصْنَافِ خَلْقِكَ
wa tajtami`u `alā ṣalāti kulli man dhara-ta wa bara-ta min aṣnāfi khalqik
And gathers together the blessings of every being You have created and formed of all Your creation
128
رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
rabbi ṣalli `alayhi wa-ālih
My Lord, bless him and his family
129
صَلَاةً تُحِيطُ بِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ سَالِفَةٍ وَ مُسْتَأْنَفَةٍ
ṣalātan tuḥīṭu bikulli ṣalātin sālifatin wa musta-nafah
With a blessing that encompasses every blessing, past and future
130
وَ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَ عَلَى آلِهِ
wa ṣalli `alayhi wa `alā-ālih
And bless him and his family
131
صَلَاةً مَرْضِيَّةً لَكَ وَ لِمَنْ دُونَكَ
ṣalātan mar-ḍiyyatan laka wa liman dūnak
With a blessing that is pleasing to You and to all below You
132
وَ تُنْشِئُ مَعَ ذٰلِكَ صَلَوَاتٍ تُضَاعِفُ مَعَهَا تِلْكَ الصَّلَوَاتِ عِنْدَهَا
wa tunshi-u ma`a dhālika ṣalawātin tuḍā`ifu ma`ahā tilkaṣ ṣalawāti `indahā
And create along with that blessings that multiply those blessings
133
وَ تَزِيدُهَا عَلَى كُرُورِ الْأَيَّامِ زِيَادَةً
wa tazīduhā `alā kurūril ayyāmi ziyādah
And increase them through the passing of days with an increase
134
فِيْ تَضَاعِيفَ لَا يَعُدُّهَا غَيْرُكَ
fī taḍā`īfa lā ya`udduhā ghayruk
In multiples that none can count but You
135
رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَى أَطَائِبِ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ
rabbi ṣalli `alā aṭā-ibi ahli baytih
My Lord, bless the pure members of his household
136
اَلَّذِيْنَ اخْتَرْتَهُمْ لِأَمْرِكَ
al ladhīnakhtar-tahum li-amrik
Whom You have chosen for Your command
137
وَ جَعَلْتَهُمْ خَزَنَةَ عِلْمِكَ وَ حَفَظَةَ دِينِكَ
wa ja`altahum khazanata `ilmika wa ḥafaẓata dīnik
And made them the treasurers of Your knowledge and guardians of Your religion
138
وَ خُلَفَاءَكَ فِيْ أَرْضِكَ وَ حُجَجَكَ عَلَى عِبَادِكَ
wa khulafā-aka fī ar-ḍika wa ḥujajaka `alā `ibādik
Your vicegerents on Your earth and Your proofs over Your servants
139
وَ طَهَّرْتَهُمْ مِنَ الرِّجْسِ وَ الدَّنَسِ تَطْهِيرًا بِإِرَادَتِكَ
wa ṭahhar-tahum minar rijsi wad danasi taṭ-hīran bi-irādatik
And whom You have purified from impurity and filth by Your will
140
وَ جَعَلْتَهُمُ الْوَسِيْلَةَ إِلَيْكَ وَ الْمَسْلَكَ إِلَى جَنَّتِكَ
wa ja`altahumul wasīlata ilayka wal maslaka ilā jannatik
And made them the means to You and the path to Your paradise
141
رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
rabbi ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa-ālih
My Lord, bless Muhammad and his family
142
صَلَاةً تُجْزِلُ لَهُمْ بِهَا مِنْ نِحَلِكَ وَ كَرَامَتِكَ
ṣalātan tujzilu lahum bihā min niḥalika wa karāmatik
With a blessing that increases for them Your gifts and generosity
143
وَ تُكْمِلُ لَهُمُ الْأَشْيَاءَ مِنْ عَطَايَاكَ وَ نَوَافِلِكَ
wa tukmilu lahumul ashyā-a min `aṭāyāka wa nawāfilik
And perfects for them Your bestowals and awards
144
وَ تُوَفِّرُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْحَظَّ مِنْ عَوَائِدِكَ وَ فَوَائِدِكَ
wa tuwaffiru `alayhimul ḥaẓẓa min `awā-idika wa fawā-idik
And fulfills for them Your share of gifts and benefits
145
رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَلَاةً لَا أَمَدَ فِيْ أَوَّلِهَا
rabbi ṣalli `alayhi wa `alayhim ṣalātan lā amada fī awwalihā
My Lord, bless him and them with a blessing with no limit to its beginning
146
وَ لَا غَايَةَ لِأَمَدِهَا وَ لَا نِهَايَةَ لِآخِرِهَا
wa lā ghāyata li-amadihā wa lā nihāyata li-ākhirihā
No bound to its term, and no end to its last
147
رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ زِنَةَ عَرْشِكَ وَ مَا دُونَهُ
rabbi ṣalli `alayhim zinata `ar-shika wa mā dūnah
My Lord, bless them to the weight of Your throne and what is below it
148
وَ مِلْءَ سَمَاوَاتِكَ وَ مَا فَوْقَهُنَّ
wa mil-a samāwātika wa mā fawqahunn
To the fill of Your heavens and what is above them
149
وَ عَدَدَ أَرَضِيكَ وَ مَا تَحْتَهُنَّ وَ مَا بَيْنَهُنَّ
wa `adada araḍīka wa mā taḥtahunna wa mā baynahunn
To the number of Your earths and what is below and between them
150
صَلَاةً تُقَرِّبُهُمْ مِنْكَ زُلْفَى وَ تَكُونُ لَكَ وَ لَهُمْ رِضًى
ṣalātan tuqarribuhum minka zulfā wa takūnu laka wa lahum riḍā
A blessing that brings them near to You in proximity and becomes a pleasure for You and them
151
وَ مُتَّصِلَةً بِنَظَائِرِهِنَّ أَبَدًا
wa muttaṣilatan binaẓā-irihinna abadā
And connected with their like forever
152
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ أَيَّدْتَ دِيْنَكَ فِيْ كُلِّ أَوَانٍ
allāhumma innaka ayyadta dīnaka fī kulli awān
O Allah, You have supported Your religion in every era
153
بِإِمَامٍ أَقَمْتَهُ عَلَمًا لِعِبَادِكَ وَ مَنَارًا فِيْ بِلَادِكَ
bi-imāmin aqamtahu `alaman li`ibādika wa manāran fī bilādik
With an Imam whom You appointed as a standard for Your servants and a beacon in Your lands
154
بَعْدَ أَنْ وَصَلْتَ حَبْلَهُ بِحَبْلِكَ
ba`da an waṣalta ḥablahu biḥablik
After You connected his cord to Your cord
155
وَ جَعَلْتَهُ الذَّرِيْعَةَ إِلَى رِضْوَانِكَ
wa ja`altahudh dharī`ata ilā riḍwānik
And made him the means to Your pleasure
156
وَ افْتَرَضْتَ طَاعَتَهُ وَ حَذَّرْتَ مَعْصِيَتَهُ
waftaraḍta ṭā`atahu wa ḥadhhar-ta ma`ṣiyatah
And made obedience to him obligatory and warned against disobeying him
157
وَ أَمَرْتَ بِامْتِثَالِ أَوَامِرِهِ وَ الِانْتِهَاءِ عِنْدَ نَهْيِهِ
wa amar-ta bimtithāli awāmirihi wal intihā-i `inda nahyih
And commanded the execution of his commands and to stop at his prohibitions
158
وَ أَلَّا يَتَقَدَّمَهُ مُتَقَدِّمٌ وَ لَا يَتَأَخَّرَ عَنْهُ مُتَأَخِّرٌ فَهُوَ عِصْمَةُ اللَّائِذِينَ
wa allā yataqaddamahu mutaqaddimun wa lā yata-akhhara `anhu muta-akhhirun fahuwa `iṣmatul lā-idhīn
And that no one should precede him or fall behind him. He is the protection of those who seek refuge
159
وَ كَهْفُ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَ عُرْوَةُ الْمُتَمَسِّكِينَ وَ بَهَاءُ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
wa kahful mu-minīna wa `ur-watul mutamassikīna wa bahā-ul `ālamīn
The shelter of believers, the firm handle of those who grasp, and the radiance for the worlds
160
اَللَّهُمَّ فَأَوْزِعْ لِوَلِيِّكَ شُكْرَ مَا أَنْعَمْتَ بِهِ عَلَيْهِ
allāhumma fa-awzi` liwaliyyika shukra mā an`amta bihi `alayh
O Allah, inspire Your guardian to give thanks for what You have bestowed upon him
161
وَ أَوْزِعْنَا مِثْلَهُ فِيهِ وَ آتِهِ مِنْ لَدُنْكَ سُلْطَانًا نَصِيرًا
wa awzi`nā mithlahu fīhi wa-ātihi min ladunka sulṭānan naṣīrā
And inspire us with the same concerning him, and grant him from You a supporting authority
162
وَ افْتَحْ لَهُ فَتْحًا يَسِيرًا وَ أَعِنْهُ بِرُكْنِكَ الْأَعَزِّ
waftaḥ lahu fat-ḥan yasīran wa a`inhu biruknikal a`azz
Open for him an easy opening, aid him with Your mightiest pillar
163
وَ اشْدُدْ أَزْرَهُ وَ قَوِّ عَضُدَهُ وَ رَاعِهِ بِعَيْنِكَ
washdud azrahu wa qawwi `aḍudahu wa rā`ihi bi`aynik
Strengthen his back, fortify his arm, and guard him with Your eye
164
وَ احْمِهِ بِحِفْظِكَ وَ انْصُرْهُ بِمَلَائِكَتِكَ
waḥmihi biḥifẓika wanṣur-hu bimalā-ikatik
Protect him with Your safeguarding, help him with Your angels
165
وَ امْدُدْهُ بِجُنْدِكَ الْأَغْلَبِ وَ أَقِمْ بِهِ كِتَابَكَ وَ حُدُودَكَ
wamdud-hu bijundikal aghlabi wa aqim bihi kitābaka wa ḥudūdak
Support him with Your victorious army, and establish through him Your Book, Your bounds
166
وَ شَرَائِعَكَ وَ سُنَنَ رَسُولِكَ صَلَوَاتُكَ اللَّهُمَّ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
wa sharā-i`aka wa sunana rasūlika ṣalawātukallāhumma `alayhi wa-ālih
Your laws, and the practices of Your Messenger, Your blessings upon him and his family
167
وَ أَحْيِ بِهِ مَا أَمَاتَهُ الظَّالِمُوْنَ مِنْ مَعَالِمِ دِينِكَ
wa aḥyi bihi mā amātahuẓ ẓālimūna min ma`ālimi dīnik
Revive through him what oppressors have killed of Your religion's teachings
168
وَ اجْلُ بِهِ صَدَأَ الْجَوْرِ عَنْ طَرِيقَتِكَ
wajlu bihi ṣada-al jawri `an ṭarīqatik
Polish through him the rust of injustice from Your way
169
وَ أَبِنْ بِهِ الضَّرَّاءَ مِنْ سَبِيلِكَ
wa abin bihiḍ ḍarrā-a min sabīlik
Eliminate through him hardship from Your path
170
وَ أَزِلْ بِهِ النَّاكِبِينَ عَنْ صِرَاطِكَ
wa azil bihin nākibīna `an ṣirāṭik
Remove through him those who deviate from Your road
171
وَ امْحَقْ بِهِ بُغَاةَ قَصْدِكَ عِوَجًا
wamḥaq bihi bughāta qaṣdika `iwajā
Eradicate through him those who seek crookedness in Your path
172
وَ أَلِنْ جَانِبَهُ لِأَوْلِيَائِكَ وَ ابْسُطْ يَدَهُ عَلَى أَعْدَائِكَ
wa alin jānibahu li-awliyā-ika wabsuṭ yadahu `alā a`dā-ik
Make his side gentle toward Your friends, and extend his hand over Your enemies
173
وَ هَبْ لَنَا رَأْفَتَهُ وَ رَحْمَتَهُ وَ تَعَطُّفَهُ وَ تَحَنُّنَهُ
wa hab lanā ra-fatahu wa raḥmatahu wa ta`aṭṭufahu wa taḥannunah
Give us his compassion, his mercy, his tenderness, and his sympathy
174
وَ اجْعَلْنَا لَهُ سَامِعِينَ مُطِيعِينَ وَ فِيْ رِضَاهُ سَاعِينَ
waj`alnā lahu sāmi`īna muṭī`īna wa fī riḍāhu sā`īn
Make us his hearers and obeyers, strivers toward his pleasure
175
وَ إِلَى نُصْرَتِهِ وَ الْمُدَافَعَةِ عَنْهُ مُكْنِفِينَ
wa ilā nuṣratihi wal mudāfa`ati `anhu muknifīn
Defenders and protectors of him in his support
176
وَ إِلَيْكَ وَ إِلَى رَسُولِكَ صَلَوَاتُكَ
wa ilayka wa ilā rasūlika ṣalawātuk
And bringing us near through that to You and to Your Messenger
177
اَللَّهُمَّ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ بِذٰلِكَ مُتَقَرِّبِينَ
allāhumma `alayhi wa-ālihi bidhālika mutaqarribīn
Your blessings, O Allah, be upon him and his family
178
اَللَّهُمَّ وَ صَلِّ عَلَى أَوْلِيَائِهِمُ الْمُعْتَرِفِينَ بِمَقَامِهِمْ
allāhumma wa ṣalli `alā awliyā-ihimul mu`tarifīna bimaqāmihim
O Allah, bless their allies who acknowledge their status
179
اَلْمُتَّبِعِينَ مَنْهَجَهُمُ الْمُقْتَفِينَ آثَارَهُمْ
al muttabi`īna manhajahumul muqtafīna-āthārahum
Who follow their way, pursue their tracks
180
اَلْمُسْتَمْسِكِينَ بِعُرْوَتِهِمُ الْمُتَمَسِّكِينَ بِوَلَايَتِهِمْ
al mustamsikīna bi`ur-watihimul mutamassikīna biwalāyatihim
Hold fast to their handle, adhere to their guardianship
181
اَلْمُؤْتَمِّينَ بِإِمَامَتِهِمُ الْمُسَلِّمِيْنَ لِأَمْرِهِمْ
al mu-tammīna bi-imāmatihimul musallimīna li-amrihim
Follow their leadership, submit to their command
182
اَلْمُجْتَهِدِيْنَ فِيْ طَاعَتِهِمُ الْمُنْتَظِرِينَ أَيَّامَهُمْ
al mujtahidīna fī ṭā`atihimul muntaẓirīna ayyāmahum
Strive in their obedience, await their days
183
اَلْمَادِّينَ إِلَيْهِمْ أَعْيُنَهُمْ
al māddīna ilayhim a`yunahum
Direct their eyes toward them
184
اَلصَّلَوَاتِ الْمُبَارَكَاتِ الزَّاكِيَاتِ النَّامِيَاتِ الْغَادِيَاتِ الرَّائِحَاتِ
aṣ ṣalawātil mubārakātiz zākiyātin nāmiyātil ghādiyātir rā-iḥāt
With blessings blessed, pure, growing, increasing in morning and evening
185
وَ سَلِّمْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَ عَلَى أَرْوَاحِهِمْ
wa sallim `alayhim wa `alā ar-wāḥihim
And grant them and their spirits peace
186
وَ اجْمَعْ عَلَى التَّقْوَى أَمْرَهُمْ
wajma` `alat taqwā amrahum
Unite their affairs in piety
187
وَ أَصْلِحْ لَهُمْ شُؤُونَهُمْ
wa aṣliḥ lahum shu-ūnahum
Improve their condition
188
وَ تُبْ عَلَيْهِمْ
wa tub `alayhim
Accept their repentance
189
إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ وَ خَيْرُ الْغَافِرِينَ
innaka antat tawwābur raḥīmu wa khayrul ghāfirīn
Surely You are the Accepter of repentance, the Merciful, and the Best of forgivers
190
وَ اجْعَلْنَا مَعَهُمْ فِيْ دَارِ السَّلَامِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
waj`alnā ma`ahum fī dāris salāmi biraḥmatika yā ar-ḥamar rāḥimīn
And place us with them in the Abode of Peace, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful
191
اَللَّهُمَّ هَذَا يَوْمُ عَرَفَةَ
allāhumma hadhā yawmu `arafah
O Allah, this is the Day of Arafah
192
يَوْمٌ شَرَّفْتَهُ وَ كَرَّمْتَهُ وَ عَظَّمْتَهُ نَشَرْتَ فِيهِ رَحْمَتَكَ
yawmun sharraftahu wa karramtahu wa `aẓẓamtahu nashar-ta fīhi raḥmatak
A day which You have made noble, honored, and exalted. You have spread Your mercy in it
193
وَ مَنَنْتَ فِيهِ بِعَفْوِكَ وَ أَجْزَلْتَ فِيهِ عَطِيَّتَكَ
wa mananta fīhi bi`afwika wa ajzalta fīhi `aṭiyyatak
Bestowed Your pardon through it, and made plentiful Your giving
194
وَ تَفَضَّلْتَ بِهِ عَلَى عِبَادِكَ
wa tafaḍḍalta bihi `alā `ibādik
And graciously favored Your servants with it
195
اَللَّهُمَّ وَ أَنَا عَبْدُكَ الَّذِيْ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِ قَبْلَ خَلْقِكَ لَهُ وَ بَعْدَ خَلْقِكَ إِيَّاهُ
allāhumma wa ana `abdukal ladhī an`amta `alayhi qabla khalqika lahu wa ba`da khalqika iyyāh
O Allah, I am Your servant whom You have blessed before creating him and after creating him
196
فَجَعَلْتَهُ مِمَّنْ هَدَيْتَهُ لِدِينِكَ
faja`altahu mimman hadaytahu lidīnik
You made him among those whom You have guided to Your religion
197
وَ وَفَّقْتَهُ لِحَقِّكَ وَ عَصَمْتَهُ بِحَبْلِكَ
wa waffaqtahu liḥaqqika wa `aṣamtahu biḥablik
Granted him success in fulfilling Your right, and protected him with Your cord
198
وَ أَدْخَلْتَهُ فِيْ حِزْبِكَ وَ أَرْشَدْتَهُ لِمُوَالَاةِ أَوْلِيَائِكَ
wa adkhaltahu fī ḥizbika wa ar-shadtahu limuwālāti awliyā-ik
Included him in Your party, and directed him to befriend Your friends
199
وَ مُعَادَاةِ أَعْدَائِكَ ثُمَّ أَمَرْتَهُ فَلَمْ يَأْتَمِرْ
wa mu`ādāti a`dā-ika thumma amar-tahu falam ya-tamir
And to show enmity to Your enemies. Then You commanded him, but he did not follow Your command
200
وَ زَجَرْتَهُ فَلَمْ يَنْزَجِرْ وَ نَهَيْتَهُ عَنْ مَعْصِيَتِكَ فَخَالَفَ أَمْرَكَ إِلَى نَهْيِكَ
wa zajar-tahu falam yanzajir wa nahaytahu `an ma`ṣiyatika fakhālafa amraka ilā nahyik
You prohibited him, but he did not heed, and You forbade him from disobedience to You, but he opposed Your command to Your prohibition
201
لَا مُعَانَدَةً لَكَ وَ لَا اسْتِكْبَارًا عَلَيْكَ
lā mu`ānadatan laka wa lastikbāran `alayk
Not in defiance of You, nor to display arrogance toward You
202
بَلْ دَعَاهُ هَوَاهُ إِلَى مَا زَيَّلْتَهُ وَ إِلَى مَا حَذَّرْتَهُ
bal da`āhu hawāhu ilā mā zayyaltahu wa ilā mā ḥadhhar-tah
But his desires called him to that which You had set apart and warned against
203
وَ أَعَانَهُ عَلَى ذٰلِكَ عَدُوُّكَ وَ عَدُوُّهُ
wa a`ānahu `alā dhālika `aduwwuka wa `aduwwuh
And he was helped to that by Your enemy and his enemy
204
فَأَقْدَمَ عَلَيْهِ عَارِفًا بِوَعِيدِكَ رَاجِيًا لِعَفْوِكَ
fa-aqdama `alayhi `ārifan biwa`īdika rājiyan li`afwik
So he went forward toward it, knowing Your threat, hoping for Your pardon
205
وَاثِقًا بِتَجَاوُزِكَ وَ كَانَ أَحَقَّ عِبَادِكَ
wāthiqan bitajāwuzika wa kāna aḥaqqa `ibādik
Relying on Your forgiveness, and he was the most worthy of Your servants
206
مَعَ مَا مَنَنْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَلَّا يَفْعَلَ
ma`a mā mananta `alayhi allā yaf`al
With all that You had bestowed upon him, not to do so
207
وَ هَا أَنَا ذَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ صَاغِرًا
wa hā ana dhā bayna yadayka ṣāghirā
And here I am before You, humbled
208
ذَلِيْلًا خَاضِعًا خَاشِعًا خَائِفًا
dhalīlan khāḍi`an khāshi`an khā-ifā
Lowly, submissive, fearful
209
مُعْتَرِفًا بِعَظِيمٍ مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ تَحَمَّلْتُهُ
mu`tarifan bi`aẓīmin minadh dhunūbi taḥammaltuh
Confessing the terrible sins I have borne
210
وَ جَلِيلٍ مِنَ الْخَطَايَا اجْتَرَمْتُهُ
wa jalīlin minal khaṭāyajtaramtuh
And the great offenses that I have committed
211
مُسْتَجِيرًا بِصَفْحِكَ لَائِذًا بِرَحْمَتِكَ
mustajīran biṣafḥika lā-idhan biraḥmatik
Seeking refuge in Your forgiveness, taking shelter in Your mercy
212
مُوقِنًا أَنَّهُ لَا يُجِيرُنِيْ مِنْكَ مُجِيرٌ
mūqinan annahu lā yujīrunī minka mujīr
Certain that no one can protect me from You
213
وَ لَا يَمْنَعُنِيْ مِنْكَ مَانِعٌ
wa lā yamna`unī minka māni`
And no one can shield me from You
214
فَعُدْ عَلَيَّ بِمَا تَعُودُ بِهِ عَلَى مَنِ اقْتَرَفَ مِنْ تَغَمُّدِكَ
fa`ud `alayya bimā ta`ūdu bihi `alā maniqtarafa min taghammudik
So bestow upon me what You bestow on one who commits evil in Your covering
215
وَ جُدْ عَلَيَّ بِمَا تَجُودُ بِهِ عَلَى مَنْ أَلْقَى بِيَدِهِ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ عَفْوِكَ
wa jud `alayya bimā tajūdu bihi `alā man alqā biyadihi ilayka min `afwik
And be generous to me as You are generous to one who throws himself before You in Your pardon
216
وَ امْنُنْ عَلَيَّ بِمَا لَا يَتَعَاظَمُكَ
wamnun `alayya bimā lā yata`āẓamuk
And favor me with what is not too great for You
217
أَنْ تَمُنَّ بِهِ عَلَى مَنْ أَمَّلَكَ مِنْ غُفْرَانِكَ
an tamunna bihi `alā man ammalaka min ghufrānik
To favor one who asks You for forgiveness
218
وَ اجْعَلْ لِيْ فِيْ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ نَصِيبًا أَنَالُ بِهِ حَظًّا مِنْ رِضْوَانِكَ
waj`al lī fī hadhal yawmi naṣīban anālu bihi ḥaẓẓan min riḍwānik
And grant me on this day a share by which I may attain a portion of Your pleasure
219
وَ لَا تَرُدَّنِيْ صِفْرًا مِمَّا يَنْقَلِبُ بِهِ الْمُتَعَبِّدُوْنَ لَكَ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ
wa lā taruddanī ṣifran mimmā yanqalibu bihil muta`abbidūna laka min `ibādik
And do not send me away empty-handed of what Your worshippers gain from Your servants
220
وَ إِنِّيْ وَ إِنْ لَمْ أُقَدِّمْ مَا قَدَّمُوهُ مِنَ الصَّالِحَاتِ
wa innī wa in lam uqaddim mā qaddamūhu minaṣ ṣāliḥāt
And although I have not put forward the good deeds they have offered
221
فَقَدْ قَدَّمْتُ تَوْحِيدَكَ
faqad qaddamtu tawḥīdak
I have put forward Your unity
222
وَ نَفْيَ الْأَضْدَادِ وَ الْأَنْدَادِ وَ الْأَشْبَاهِ عَنْكَ
wa nafyal aḍdādi wal andādi wal ashbāhi `ank
And the denial of opposites, rivals, and likenesses to You
223
وَ أَتَيْتُكَ مِنَ الْأَبْوَابِ الَّتِيْ أَمَرْتَ أَنْ تُؤْتَى مِنْهَا
wa ataytuka minal abwābil latī amar-ta an tu-tā minhā
And I have come to You by the gates You have commanded to be approached
224
وَ تَقَرَّبْتُ إِلَيْكَ بِمَا لَا يَقْرُبُ
wa taqarrabtu ilayka bimā lā yaqrub
And I have sought nearness to You with that which none comes near
225
أَحَدٌ مِنْكَ إِلَّا بِالتَّقَرُّبِ بِهِ
aḥadun minka illā bittaqarrubi bih
Except by seeking nearness through it
226
ثُمَّ أَتْبَعْتُ ذٰلِكَ بِالْإِنَابَةِ إِلَيْكَ
thumma atba`tu dhālika bil inābati ilayk
Then I followed that with repentance to You
227
وَ التَّذَلُّلِ وَ الِاسْتِكَانَةِ لَكَ وَ حُسْنِ الظَّنِّ بِكَ وَ الثِّقَةِ بِمَا عِنْدَكَ
wat tadhalluli wal istikānati laka wa ḥusniẓ ẓanni bika wath thiqati bimā `indak
Humbleness, submission, good opinion of You, and trust in what is with You
228
وَ شَفَعْتُهُ بِرَجَائِكَ
wa shafa`tuhu birajā-ik
And I coupled it with hope in You
229
اَلَّذِيْ قَلَّ مَا يَخِيبُ عَلَيْهِ رَاجِيكَ
al ladhī qalla mā yakhību `alayhi rājīk
Which rarely disappoints the one who hopes in You
230
وَ سَأَلْتُكَ مَسْأَلَةَ الْحَقِيرِ الذَّلِيلِ
wa sa-altuka mas-alatal ḥaqīridh dhalīl
And I asked You the asking of one lowly, abased
231
اَلْبَائِسِ الْفَقِيرِ الْخَائِفِ الْمُسْتَجِيرِ
al bā-isil faqīril khā-ifil mustajīr
Poor, fearful, seeking protection
232
وَ مَعَ ذٰلِكَ خِيفَةً وَ تَضَرُّعًا وَ تَعَوُّذًا وَ تَلَوُّذًا
wa ma`a dhālika khīfatan wa taḍarru`an wa ta`awwudhan wa talawwudhā
And along with that, fearful, seeking refuge, anxious, taking shelter
233
لَا مُسْتَطِيلًا بِتَكَبُّرِ الْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ
lā mustaṭīlan bitakabburil mutakabbirīn
Not presumptuous through the pride of the proud
234
وَ لَا مُتَعَالِيًا بِدَالَّةِ الْمُطِيعِينَ
wa lā muta`āliyan bidāllatil muṭī`īn
Nor exalting myself with the boldness of the obedient
235
وَ لَا مُسْتَطِيلًا بِشَفَاعَةِ الشَّافِعِينَ
wa lā mustaṭīlan bishafā`atish shāfi`īn
Nor claiming intercession of intercessors
236
وَ أَنَا بَعْدُ أَقَلُّ الْأَقَلِّينَ وَ أَذَلُّ الْأَذَلِّينَ
wa ana ba`du aqallul aqallīna wa adhallul adhallīn
Yet I am still the least of the least and the lowest of the low
237
وَ مِثْلُ الذَّرَّةِ أَوْ دُونَهَا
wa mithludh dharrati aw dūnahā
Like an atom or even less
238
فَيَا مَنْ لَمْ يُعَاجِلِ الْمُسِيئِينَ وَ لَا يَنْدَهُ الْمُتْرَفِينَ
fayā man lam yu`ājilil musī-īna wa lā yandahul mutrafīn
O He who does not hasten the punishment of evildoers nor disdain those who live in luxury
239
وَ يَا مَنْ يَمُنُّ بِإِقَالَةِ الْعَاثِرِينَ وَ يَتَفَضَّلُ بِإِنْظَارِ الْخَاطِئِينَ
wa yā man yamunnu bi-iqālatil `āthirīna wa yatafaḍḍalu bi-inẓāril khāṭi-īn
O He who shows favor by helping those who stumble and is gracious in respiting sinners
240
أَنَا الْمُسِيءُ الْمُعْتَرِفُ الْخَاطِئُ الْعَاثِرُ
anal musī-ul mu`tariful khāṭi-ul `āthir
I am the evildoer, the confessor, the sinner, the stumbler
241
أَنَا الَّذِيْ أَقْدَمَ عَلَيْكَ مُجْتَرِئًا
anal ladhī aqdama `alayka mujtari-ā
I am the one who approached You deliberately
242
أَنَا الَّذِيْ عَصَاكَ مُتَعَمِّدًا
anal ladhī `aṣāka muta`ammidā
I am the one who disobeyed You intentionally
243
أَنَا الَّذِيْ اسْتَخْفَى مِنْ عِبَادِكَ وَ بَارَزَكَ
anal ladhistakhfā min `ibādika wa bārazak
I am the one who hid from Your servants and confronted You
244
أَنَا الَّذِيْ هَابَ عِبَادَكَ وَ أَمِنَكَ
anal ladhī hāba `ibādaka wa aminak
I am the one who dreaded Your servants but felt secure from You
245
أَنَا الَّذِيْ لَمْ يَرْهَبْ سَطْوَتَكَ وَ لَمْ يَخَفْ بَأْسَكَ
anal ladhī lam yar-hab saṭwataka wa lam yakhaf ba-sak
I am the one who did not dread Your severity and did not fear Your punishment
246
أَنَا الْجَانِيْ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ أَنَا الْمُرْتَهَنُ بِبَلِيَّتِهِ
anal jānī `alā nafsihi anal mur-tahanu bibaliyyatih
I am the offender against myself, I am the one hostage to his affliction
247
أَنَا الْقَلِيلُ الْحَيَاءِ أَنَا الطَّوِيلُ الْعَنَاءِ
anal qalīlul ḥayā-i anaṭ ṭawīlul `anā
I am the one with little shame, I am the one suffering prolonged distress
248
بِحَقِّ مَنِ انْتَجَبْتَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ
biḥaqqi manintajabta min khalqik
By the right of the one whom You have chosen from Your creation
249
وَ بِمَنِ اصْطَفَيْتَهُ لِنَفْسِكَ
wa bimaniṣṭafaytahu linafsik
And by the one whom You have selected for Yourself
250
بِحَقِّ مَنِ اخْتَرْتَ مِنْ بَرِيَّتِكَ وَ مَنِ اجْتَبَيْتَ لِشَأْنِكَ
biḥaqqi manikhtar-ta min bariyyatika wa manijtabayta lisha-nik
By the right of the one whom You have chosen from Your creation and whom You have elected for Your task
251
بِحَقِّ مَنْ وَصَلْتَ طَاعَتَهُ بِطَاعَتِكَ
biḥaqqi man waṣalta ṭā`atahu biṭā`atik
By the right of the one whose obedience You have linked to Your obedience
252
وَ مَنْ جَعَلْتَ مَعْصِيَتَهُ كَمَعْصِيَتِكَ
wa man ja`alta ma`ṣiyatahu kama`ṣiyatik
And whose disobedience You have made like disobedience to You
253
بِحَقِّ مَنْ قَرَنْتَ مُوَالَاتَهُ بِمُوَالَاتِكَ
biḥaqqi man qaranta muwālātahu bimuwālātik
By the right of the one whose loyalty You have connected to Your loyalty
254
وَ مَنْ نُطْتَ مُعَادَاتَهُ بِمُعَادَاتِكَ
wa man nuṭta mu`ādātahu bimu`ādātik
And whose enmity You have linked to Your enmity
255
تَغَمَّدْنِيْ فِيْ يَوْمِيْ هَذَا بِمَا تَتَغَمَّدُ بِهِ مَنْ جَارَ إِلَيْكَ مُتَنَصِّلًا
taghammadnī fī yawmī hadhā bimā tataghammadu bihi man jāra ilayka mutanaṣṣilā
Cover me on this day with what You cover one who sincerely seeks Your pardon
256
وَ عَاذَ بِاسْتِغْفَارِكَ تَائِبًا
wa `ādha bistighfārika tā-ibā
And who seeks refuge in Your forgiveness repentantly
257
وَ تَوَلَّنِيْ بِمَا تَتَوَلَّى بِهِ أَهْلَ طَاعَتِكَ
wa tawallanī bimā tatawallā bihi ahla ṭā`atik
And attend to me as You attend to the people of Your obedience
258
وَ الزُّلْفَى لَدَيْكَ وَ الْمَكَانَةِ مِنْكَ
waz zulfā ladayka wal makānati mink
Nearness to You, and rank with You
259
وَ تَوَحَّدْنِيْ بِمَا تَتَوَحَّدُ بِهِ مَنْ وَفَى بِعَهْدِكَ
wa tawaḥḥadnī bimā tatawaḥḥadu bihi man wafā bi`ahdik
And single me out as You single out one who fulfills Your covenant
260
وَ أَتْعَبَ نَفْسَهُ فِيْ ذَاتِكَ وَ أَجْهَدَهَا فِيْ مَرْضَاتِكَ
wa at`aba nafsahu fī dhātika wa ajhadahā fī mar-ḍātik
And fatigues himself for Your sake and exerts himself in Your pleasure
261
وَ لَا تُؤَاخِذْنِيْ بِتَفْرِيطِيْ فِيْ جَنْبِكَ
wa lā tu-ākhidhnī bitafrīṭī fī janbik
Do not take me to task for my neglect in Your right
262
وَ تَعَدِّيْ طَوْرِيْ فِيْ حُدُودِكَ وَ مُجَاوَزَةِ أَحْكَامِكَ
wa ta`addī ṭawrī fī ḥudūdika wa mujāwazati aḥkāmik
My transgression of Your bounds, and stepping outside Your ordinances
263
وَ لَا تَسْتَدْرِجْنِيْ بِإِمْلَائِكَ لِي
wa lā tastadrijnī bi-imlā-ika lī
And do not draw me on with Your respite
264
اِسْتِدْرَاجَ مَنْ مَنَعَنِيْ خَيْرَ مَا عِنْدَهُ
istidrāja man mana`anī khayra mā `indah
Like one You have deprived of good from himself
265
وَ لَمْ يَشْرَكْكَ فِيْ حُلُوْلِ نِعْمَتِهِ بِي
wa lam yashrakka fī ḥulūli ni`matihi bī
And has not shared You in the coming of Your blessing to him
266
وَ نَبِّهْنِيْ مِنْ رَقْدَةِ الْغَافِلِينَ
wa nabbihnī min raqdatil ghāfilīn
And awaken me from the slumber of the heedless
267
وَ سِنَةِ الْمُسْرِفِينَ وَ نَعْسَةِ الْمَخْذُولِينَ
wa sinatil musrifīna wa na`satil makhdhūlīn
The waste of the extravagant, and the sleep of the forsaken
268
وَ خُذْ بِقَلْبِيْ إِلَى مَا اسْتَعْمَلْتَ بِهِ الْقَانِتِينَ
wa khudh biqalbī ilā masta`malta bihil qānitīn
And take my heart to that which You have employed the devoted
269
وَ اسْتَعْبَدْتَ بِهِ الْمُتَعَبِّدِيْنَ وَ اسْتَنْقَذْتَ بِهِ الْمُتَهَاوِنِيْنَ
wasta`badta bihil muta`abbidīna wastanqadhta bihil mutahāwinīn
And engaged the worshippers, and rescued the neglectful
270
وَ أَعِذْنِيْ مِمَّا يُبَاعِدُنِيْ عَنْكَ
wa a`idhnī mimmā yubā`idunī `ank
And protect me from that which distances me from You
271
وَ يَحُولُ بَيْنِيْ وَ بَيْنَ حَظِّيْ مِنْكَ
wa yaḥūlu baynī wa bayna ḥaẓẓī mink
And comes between me and my share from You
272
وَ يَصُدُّنِيْ عَمَّا أُحَاوِلُ لَدَيْكَ
wa yaṣuddunī `ammā uḥāwilu ladayk
And hinders me from what I seek from You
273
وَ سَهِّلْ لِيْ مَسْلَكَ الْخَيْرَاتِ إِلَيْكَ
wa sahhil lī maslakal khayrāti ilayk
Make easy for me the path of good works toward You
274
وَ الْمُسَابَقَةِ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ حَيْثُ أَمَرْتَ
wal musābaqati ilayhā min ḥaythu amar-t
Racing toward them from where You have commanded
275
وَ الْمُشَاحَّةَ فِيهَا عَلَى مَا أَرَدْتَ
wal mushāḥḥata fīhā `alā mā aradt
And striving toward them as You desire
276
وَ لَا تَمْحَقْنِيْ فِيمَنْ تَمْحَقُ مِنَ الْمُسْتَخِفِّينَ بِمَا أَوْعَدْتَ
wa lā tamḥaqnī fīman tamḥaqu minal mustakhiffīna bimā aw`adt
Do not crush me among those whom You crush from those who take lightly what You have promised
277
وَ لَا تُهْلِكْنِيْ مَعَ مَنْ تُهْلِكُ مِنَ الْمُتَعَرِّضِينَ لِمَقْتِكَ
wa lā tuhliknī ma`a man tuhliku minal muta`arriḍīna limaqtik
And do not destroy me with those whom You destroy from those who expose themselves to Your hatred
278
وَ لَا تُتَبِّرْنِيْ فِيمَنْ تُتَبِّرُ مِنَ الْمُنْحَرِفِينَ عَنْ سُبُلِكَ
wa lā tutabbir-nī fīman tutabbiru minal munḥarifīna `an subulik
And do not annihilate me among those whom You annihilate from those who deviate from Your paths
279
وَ نَجِّنِيْ مِنْ غَمَرَاتِ الْفِتْنَةِ
wa najjinī min ghamarātil fitnah
Deliver me from the floods of trial
280
وَ خَلِّصْنِيْ مِنْ لَهَوَاتِ الْبَلْوَى
wa khalliṣnī min lahawātil balwā
Save me from the depths of affliction
281
وَ أَجِرْنِيْ مِنْ أَخْذِ الْإِمْلَاءِ
wa ajir-nī min akhdhil imlā
And protect me from being seized by respite
282
وَ حُلْ بَيْنِيْ وَ بَيْنَ عَدُوٍّ يُضِلُّنِي
wa ḥul baynī wa bayna `aduwwin yuḍillunī
Come between me and the enemy who misguides me
283
وَ هَوًى يُوبِقُنِيْ وَ مَنْقَصَةٍ تَرْهَقُنِي
wa hawan yūbiqunī wa manqaṣatin tar-haqunī
The passion that ruins me, and the deficiency that overcomes me
284
وَ لَا تُعْرِضْ عَنِّيْ إِعْرَاضَ مَنْ لَا تَرْضَى عَنْهُ بَعْدَ غَضَبِكَ
wa lā tu`riḍ `annī i`rāḍa man lā tar-ḍā `anhu ba`da ghaḍabik
Do not turn away from me with the turning away of one with whom You are not pleased after Your anger
285
وَ لَا تُؤْيِسْنِيْ مِنَ الْأَمَلِ فِيكَ فَيَغْلِبَ عَلَيَّ الْقُنُوطُ مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ
wa lā tu-yisnī minal amali fīka fayaghliba `alayyal qunūṭu min raḥmatik
Do not make me lose hope in You, so that despair of Your mercy overtakes me
286
وَ لَا تَمْنَحْنِيْ بِمَا لَا طَاقَةَ لِيْ بِهِ
wa lā tamnaḥnī bimā lā ṭāqata lī bih
Do not grant me that which I cannot bear
287
فَتَبْهَظَنِيْ مِمَّا تُحَمِّلُنِيهِ مِنْ فَضْلِ مَحَبَّتِكَ
fatabhaẓanī mimmā tuḥammilunīhi min faḍli maḥabbatik
So that it burdens me with what You load upon me of Your love
288
وَ لَا تُرْسِلْنِيْ مِنْ يَدِكَ إِرْسَالَ مَنْ لَا خَيْرَ فِيهِ
wa lā tur-silnī min yadika ir-sāla man lā khayra fīh
Do not cast me away with the casting of one in whom there is no good
289
وَ لَا حَاجَةَ بِكَ إِلَيْهِ وَ لَا إِنَابَةَ لَهُ
wa lā ḥājata bika ilayhi wa lā inābata lah
Nor need for, nor turning back in repentance
290
وَ لَا تَرْمِ بِيْ رَمْيَ مَنْ سَقَطَ مِنْ عَيْنِ رِعَايَتِكَ
wa lā tar-mi bī ramya man saqaṭa min `ayni ri`āyatik
Do not fling me with the flinging of one who has fallen from Your eye
291
وَ مَنِ اشْتَمَلَ عَلَيْهِ الْخِزْيُ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ
wa manishtamala `alayhil khizyu min `indik
And on whom disgrace has come down from You
292
بَلْ خُذْ بِيَدِيْ مِنْ سَقْطَةِ الْمُتَرَدِّدِيْنَ
bal khudh biyadī min saqṭatil mutaraddidīn
Rather take my hand from the failing of the perplexed
293
وَ وَهْلَةِ الْمُتَعَسِّفِينَ وَ زَلَّةِ الْمَغْرُورِينَ وَ وَرْطَةِ الْهَالِكِينَ
wa wahlatil muta`assifīna wa zallatil maghrūrīna wa war-ṭatil hālikīn
The confusion of the misguided, the slip of the deceived, and the plight of the destroyed
294
وَ عَافِنِيْ مِمَّا ابْتَلَيْتَ بِهِ طَبَقَاتِ عَبِيدِكَ وَ إِمَائِكَ
wa `āfinī mimmabtalayta bihi ṭabaqāti `abīdika wa imā-ik
Save me from that with which You have afflicted the ranks of Your servants and maidens
295
وَ بَلِّغْنِيْ مَبَالِغَ مَنْ عُنِيتَ بِهِ وَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِ وَ رَضِيتَ عَنْهُ
wa ballighnī mabāligha man `unīta bihi wa an`amta `alayhi wa raḍīta `anh
And make me reach the ranks of those whom You have attended to, blessed, and been pleased with
296
فَأَعَشْتَهُ حَمِيدًا وَ تَوَفَّيْتَهُ سَعِيدًا
fa-a`ashtahu ḥamīdan wa tawaffaytahu sa`īdā
So You have made them live as praiseworthy and die as felicitous
297
وَ طَوِّقْنِيْ طَوْقَ الْإِقْلَاعِ عَمَّا يُحْبِطُ الْحَسَنَاتِ
wa ṭawwiqnī ṭawqal iqlā`i `ammā yuḥbiṭul ḥasanāt
Encircle me with the collar of abstaining from that which nullifies good works
298
وَ يَذْهَبُ بِالْبَرَكَاتِ
wa yadh-habu bil barakāt
And takes away blessings
299
وَ أَشْعِرْ قَلْبِيَ الِازْدِجَارَ عَنْ قَبَائِحِ السَّيِّئَاتِ
wa ash`ir qalbiyal izdijāra `an qabā-iḥis sayyi-āt
Fill my heart with restraint from the ugly deeds of offenses
300
وَ فَوَاضِحِ الْحَوْبَاتِ
wa fawāḍiḥil ḥawbāt
And disgraceful sins
301
وَ لَا تَشْغَلْنِيْ بِمَا لَا أُدْرِكُهُ إِلَّا بِكَ عَمَّا لَا يُرْضِيكَ عَنِّيْ غَيْرُهُ
wa lā tashghalnī bimā lā udrikuhu illā bika `ammā lā yur-ḍīka `annī ghayruh
Do not occupy me with what I cannot reach except through You, from what does not please You
302
وَ انْزِعْ مِنْ قَلْبِيْ حُبَّ دُنْيَا دَنِيَّةٍ تَنْهَى عَمَّا عِنْدَكَ
wanzi` min qalbī ḥubba dunyā daniyyatin tanhā `ammā `indak
Remove from my heart the love of this base world that prevents what is with You
303
وَ تَصُدُّ عَنِ ابْتِغَاءِ الْوَسِيْلَةِ إِلَيْكَ وَ تُذْهِلُ عَنِ التَّقَرُّبِ مِنْكَ
wa taṣuddu `anibtighā-il wasīlati ilayka wa tudh-hilu `anit taqarrubi mink
And blocks seeking means to You, and distracts from striving toward You
304
وَ زَيِّنْ لِيَ التَّفَرُّدَ بِمُنَاجَاتِكَ بِاللَّيْلِ وَ النَّهَارِ
wa zayyin liyat tafarruda bimunājātika billlayli wan nahār
Make attractive to me solitary prayer to You by night and day
305
وَ هَبْ لِيْ عِصْمَةً تُدْنِينِيْ مِنْ خَشْيَتِكَ
wa hab lī `iṣmatan tudnīnī min khashyatik
Grant me protection that brings me close to fear of You
306
وَ تَقْطَعُنِيْ عَنْ رُكُوبِ مَحَارِمِكَ
wa taqṭa`unī `an rukūbi maḥārimik
And cuts me off from riding into forbidden things
307
وَ تَفُكَّنِيْ مِنْ أَسْرِ الْعَظَائِمِ
wa tafukkanī min asril `aẓā-im
And frees me from the captivity of great sins
308
وَ هَبْ لِيَ التَّطْهِيرَ مِنْ دَنَسِ الْعِصْيَانِ
wa hab liyat taṭ-hīra min danasil `iṣyān
Give me purification from the defilement of disobedience
309
وَ أَذْهِبْ عَنِّيْ دَرَنَ الْخَطَايَا
wa adh-hib `annī daranal khaṭāyā
Take away from me the filth of offenses
310
وَ سَرْبِلْنِيْ بِسِرْبَالِ عَافِيَتِكَ
wa sar-bilnī bisir-bāli `āfiyatik
Clothe me in the robe of Your well-being
311
وَ رَدِّنِيْ رِدَاءَ مُعَافَاتِكَ
wa raddinī ridā-a mu`āfātik
Wrap me in the cloak of Your protection
312
وَ جَلِّلْنِيْ سَوَابِغَ نَعْمَائِكَ
wa jallinī sawābigha na`mā-ik
Dress me in Your abundant favors
313
وَ ظَاهِرْ لَدَيَّ فَضْلَكَ وَ طَوْلَكَ
wa ẓāhir ladayya faḍlaka wa ṭawlak
Let Your grace and bounty overflow upon me
314
وَ أَيِّدْنِيْ بِتَوْفِيقِكَ وَ تَسْدِيْدِكَ
wa ayyidnī bitawfīqika wa tasdīdik
Support me with Your success and guidance
315
وَ أَعِنِّيْ عَلَى صَالِحِ النِّيَّةِ وَ مَرْضِيِّ الْقَوْلِ وَ مُسْتَحْسَنِ الْعَمَلِ
wa a`innī `alā ṣāliḥin niyyati wa mar-ḍiyyil qawli wa mustaḥsanil `amal
Help me toward righteous intention, pleasing words, and approved deeds
316
وَ لَا تَكِلْنِيْ إِلَى حَوْلِيْ وَ قُوَّتِيْ دُوْنَ حَوْلِكَ وَ قُوَّتِكَ
wa lā takilnī ilā ḥawlī wa quwwatī dūna ḥawlika wa quwwatik
Do not leave me to my own power and strength apart from Your power and strength
317
وَ لَا تُخْزِنِيْ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُنِيْ لِلِقَائِكَ
wa lā tukhzinī yawma tab`athunī liliqā-ik
Do not disgrace me on the day You raise me up to meet You
318
وَ لَا تَفْضَحْنِيْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ أَوْلِيَائِكَ
wa lā tafḍaḥnī bayna yaday awliyā-ik
Do not expose me before Your friends
319
وَ لَا تُنْسِنِيْ ذِكْرَكَ وَ لَا تُذْهِبْ عَنِّيْ شُكْرَكَ
wa lā tunsinī dhikraka wa lā tudh-hib `annī shukrak
Do not make me forget Your remembrance, nor take away from me Your thanks

بَلْ أَلْزِمْنِيهِ فِيْ أَحْوَالِ السَّهْوِ عِنْدَ غَفَلَاتِ الْجَاهِلِينَ لِآلَائِكَ
bal alzimnīhi fī aḥwālis sahwi `inda ghafalātil jāhilīna li-ālā-ik
But make it incumbent upon me in times of forgetfulness when the ignorant neglect Your blessings
321
وَ أَوْزِعْنِيْ أَنْ أُثْنِيَ بِمَا أَوْلَيْتَنِيهِ
wa awzi`nī an uthniya bimā awlaytanīh
Inspire me to praise what You have bestowed upon me
322
وَ أَعْتَرِفَ بِمَا أَسْدَيْتَهُ إِلَيَّ
wa a`tarifa bimā asdaytahu ilayy
And acknowledge what You have done for me
323
وَ اجْعَلْ رَغْبَتِيْ إِلَيْكَ فَوْقَ رَغْبَةِ الرَّاغِبِينَ
waj`al raghbatī ilayka fawqa raghbatir rāghibīn
Make my desire for You above the desire of all who desire
324
وَ حَمْدِيْ إِيَّاكَ فَوْقَ حَمْدِ الْحَامِدِيْنَ
wa ḥamdī iyyāka fawqa ḥamdil ḥāmidīn
And my praise for You above the praise of all who praise
325
وَ لَا تَخْذُلْنِيْ عِنْدَ فَاقَتِيْ إِلَيْكَ
wa lā takhdhulnī `inda fāqatī ilayk
Do not abandon me when I am in need of You
326
وَ لَا تُهْلِكْنِيْ بِمَا أَسْدَيْتُهُ إِلَيْكَ
wa lā tuhliknī bimā asdaytuhu ilayk
Do not destroy me for what I have done for You
327
وَ لَا تَجْبَهْنِيْ بِمَا جَبَهْتَ بِهِ الْمُعَانِدِيْنَ لَكَ
wa lā tajbahnī bimā jabahta bihil mu`ānidīna lak
Do not confront me with what You confront Your enemies
328
فَإِنِّيْ لَكَ مُسَلِّمٌ أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ الْحُجَّةَ لَكَ
fa-innī laka musallimun a`lamu annal ḥujjata lak
For I am submissive to You, I know that the argument is Yours
329
وَ أَنَّكَ أَوْلَى بِالْفَضْلِ وَ أَعْوَدُ بِالْإِحْسَانِ
wa annaka awlā bil faḍli wa a`wadu bil iḥsān
And that You are most worthy of bounty and most generous in beneficence
330
وَ أَهْلُ التَّقْوَى وَ أَهْلُ الْمَغْفِرَةِ
wa ahlut taqwā wa ahlul maghfirah
And most worthy of piety and most worthy of forgiveness
331
وَ أَنَّكَ بِأَنْ تَعْفُوَ أَوْلَى مِنْكَ بِأَنْ تُعَاقِبَ
wa annaka bi-an ta`fuwa awlā minka bi-an tu`āqib
And that You are more inclined to pardon than to punish
332
وَ أَنَّكَ بِأَنْ تَسْتُرَ أَقْرَبُ مِنْكَ إِلَى أَنْ تَشْهَرَ
wa annaka bi-an tastura aqrabu minka ilā an tash-har
And that You are more inclined to conceal than to expose
333
فَأَحْيِنِيْ حَيَاةً طَيِّبَةً تَنْتَظِمُ بِمَا أُرِيدُ
fa-aḥyinī ḥayātan ṭayyibatan tantaẓimu bimā urīd
So give me a life that is good, well-ordered with what I want
334
وَ تَبْلُغُ مَا أُحِبُّ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا آتِيْ مَا تَكْرَهُ
wa tablughu mā uḥibbu min ḥaythu lā-ātī mā takrah
And reaches what I love, in a way that I do not do what You dislike
335
وَ لَا أَرْتَكِبُ مَا نَهَيْتَ عَنْهُ
wa lā ar-takibu mā nahayta `anh
And do not commit what You have prohibited
336
وَ أَمِتْنِيْ مِيتَةَ مَنْ يَسْعَى نُوْرُهُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ
wa amitnī mītata man yas`ā nūruhu bayna yadayhi wa `an yamīnih
And make me die the death of one whose light runs before him and on his right hand
337
وَ ذَلِّلْنِيْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ وَ أَعِزَّنِيْ عِنْدَ خَلْقِكَ
wa dhallinī bayna yadayka wa a`izzanī `inda khalqik
Make me humble before You and exalt me before Your creation
338
وَ ضَعْنِيْ إِذَا خَلَوْتُ بِكَ وَ ارْفَعْنِيْ بَيْنَ عِبَادِكَ
wa ḍa`nī idhā khalawtu bika war-fa`nī bayna `ibādik
Lower me when I am alone with You and raise me among Your servants
339
وَ أَغْنِنِيْ عَمَّنْ هُوَ غَنِيٌّ عَنِّي
wa aghninī `amman huwa ghaniyyun `annī
Free me from need for one who has no need of me
340
وَ زِدْنِيْ إِلَيْكَ فَاقَةً وَ فَقْرًا
wa zidnī ilayka fāqatan wa faqrā
And increase me in poverty and need toward You
341
وَ أَعِذْنِيْ مِنْ شَمَاتَةِ الْأَعْدَاءِ
wa a`idhnī min shamātatil a`dā
Protect me from the gloating of enemies
342
وَ مِنْ حُلُوْلِ الْبَلَاءِ وَ مِنَ الذُّلِّ وَ الْعَنَاءِ
wa min ḥulūlil balā-i wa minadh dhulli wal `anā
From the coming of affliction, from lowliness and suffering
343
تَغَمَّدْنِيْ فِيمَا اطَّلَعْتَ عَلَيْهِ مِنِّي
taghammadnī fīmāṭṭala`ta `alayhi minnī
Cover me in what You know of me
344
بِمَا يَتَغَمَّدُ بِهِ الْقَادِرُ عَلَى الْبَطْشِ لَوْلَا حِلْمُهُ
bimā yataghammadu bihil qādiru `alal baṭshi lawlā ḥilmuh
With the covering of one who, were it not for his clemency, could seize in punishment
345
وَ الْآخِذُ عَلَى الْجَرِيرَةِ لَوْلَا أَنَاتُهُ
wal-ākhidhu `alal jarīrati lawlā anātuh
And who, were it not for his forbearance, would take to task for offenses
346
وَ إِذَا أَرَدْتَ بِقَوْمٍ فِتْنَةً أَوْ سُوءًا فَنَجِّنِيْ مِنْهَا لِوَاذًا بِكَ
wa idhā aradta biqawmin fitnatan aw sū-an fanajjinī minhā liwādhan bik
When You desire for a people trial or evil, deliver me from it, for I seek refuge in You
347
وَ إِذْ لَمْ تُقِمْنِيْ مَقَامَ فَضِيحَةٍ فِيْ دُنْيَاكَ فَلَا تُقِمْنِيْ مِثْلَهُ فِيْ آخِرَتِكَ
wa idh lam tuqimnī maqāma faḍīḥatin fī dunyāka falā tuqimnī mithlahu fī-ākhiratik
And since You have not established me in a disgraceful position in this world, do not establish me in a similar one in the Hereafter
348
وَ اشْفَعْ لِيْ أَوَائِلَ مِنَنِكَ بِأَوَاخِرِهَا
washfa` lī awā-ila minanika bi-awākhirihā
Join for me the beginnings of Your favors with their ends
349
وَ قَدِيمَ فَوَائِدِكَ بِحَوَادِثِهَا
wa qadīma fawā-idika biḥawādithihā
And the ancient of Your benefits with the new
350
وَ لَا تَمْدُدْ لِيْ مَدًّا يَقْسُوْ مَعَهُ قَلْبِي
wa lā tamdud lī maddan yaqsū ma`ahu qalbī
Do not prolong my term with a prolonging that hardens my heart
351
وَ لَا تَقْرَعْنِيْ قَارِعَةً يَذْهَبُ لَهَا بَهَائِي
wa lā taqra`nī qāri`atan yadh-habu lahā bahā-ī
Do not strike me with a striking that takes away my splendor
352
وَ لَا تَسُمْنِيْ خَسِيسَةً يَصْغُرُ لَهَا قَدْرِي
wa lā tasumnī khasīsatan yaṣghuru lahā qadrī
Do not assign to me a lowliness that diminishes my worth
353
وَ لَا نَقِيصَةً يُجْهَلُ مِنْ أَجْلِهَا مَكَانِي
wa lā naqīṣatan yujhalu min ajlihā makānī
Or a deficiency that keeps my rank unknown
354
وَ لَا تَرُعْنِيْ رَوْعَةً أُبْلِسُ بِهَا وَ لَا خِيفَةً أُوجِسُ دُونَهَا
wa lā taru`nī raw`atan ublisu bihā wa lā khīfatan ūjisu dūnahā
Do not frighten me with a fright by which I despair, nor a fear I dread
355
اِجْعَلْ هَيْبَتِيْ فِيْ وَعِيدِكَ
ij`al haybatī fī wa`īdik
Make my awe in Your threats
356
وَ حَذَرِيْ مِنْ إِعْذَارِكَ وَ إِنْذَارِكَ
wa ḥadharī min i`dhārika wa indhārik
My caution from Your admonition and warning
357
وَ رَهْبَتِيْ عِنْدَ تِلَاوَةِ آيَاتِكَ
wa rahbatī `inda tilāwati-āyātik
And my fear at the recitation of Your verses
358
وَ اعْمُرْ لَيْلِيْ بِإِيقَاظِيْ فِيهِ لِعِبَادَتِكَ
wa`mur laylī bi-īqāẓī fīhi li`ibādatik
Prosper my night with wakefulness in it for Your worship
359
وَ تَفَرُّدِيْ بِالتَّهَجُّدِ لَكَ وَ تَجَرُّدِيْ بِسُكُونِيْ إِلَيْكَ
wa tafarrudī bittahajjudi laka wa tajarrudī bisukūnī ilayk
And my being alone in vigil for You, my devotion to You in solitude
360
وَ إِنْزَالِ حَوَائِجِيْ بِكَ
wa inzāli ḥawā-ijī bik
And my presenting my needs to You
361
وَ مُنَازَلَتِيْ إِيَّاكَ فِيْ فَكَاكِ رَقَبَتِيْ مِنْ نَارِكَ
wa munāzalatī iyyāka fī fakāki raqabatī min nārik
And my beseeching You to free my neck from the Fire
362
وَ إِجَارَتِيْ مِمَّا فِيهِ أَهْلُهَا مِنْ عَذَابِكَ
wa ijāratī mimmā fīhi ahluhā min `adhābik
And granting me sanctuary from what those who will suffer punishment face
363
وَ لَا تَذَرْنِيْ فِيْ طُغْيَانِيْ عَامِهًا
wa lā tadhar-nī fī ṭughyānī `āmihā
And do not leave me blindly wandering in my rebellion
364
وَ لَا فِيْ غَمْرَتِيْ سَاهِيًا حَتَّى حِينٍ
wa lā fī ghamratī sāhiyan ḥattā ḥīn
Or bewildered in my error for a time
365
وَ لَا تَجْعَلْنِيْ عِظَةً لِمَنِ اتَّعَظَ وَ لَا نَكَالًا لِمَنِ اعْتَبَرَ
wa lā taj`alnī `iẓatan limanitta`aẓa wa lā nakālan limani`tabar
Do not make me an example for those who take warning, nor a punishment for those who learn lessons
366
وَ لَا فِتْنَةً لِمَنْ نَظَرَ وَ لَا تَمْكُرْ بِيْ فِيمَنْ تَمْكُرُ بِهِ
wa lā fitnatan liman naẓara wa lā tamkur bī fīman tamkuru bih
Do not make me a trial for those who observe, and do not plot against me along with those against whom You plot
367
وَ لَا تَسْتَبْدِلْ بِيْ غَيْرِيْ وَ لَا تُغَيِّرْ لِيْ اسْمًا
wa lā tastabdil bī ghayrī wa lā tughayyir lismā
Do not replace me with another, do not change my name
368
وَ لَا تُبَدِّلْ لِيْ جِسْمًا وَ لَا تَتَّخِذْنِيْ هُزُوًا لِخَلْقِكَ
wa lā tubaddil lī jisman wa lā tattakhidhnī huzuwan likhalqik
Do not transform my form, do not make me a mockery for Your creation
369
وَ لَا سُخْرِيًّا لَكَ وَ لَا تَبَعًا إِلَّا لِمَرْضَاتِكَ
wa lā sukhriyyan laka wa lā taba`an illā limar-ḍātik
Nor a follower of anything but Your pleasure, nor servile except in seeking revenge for You
370
وَ لَا مُمْتَهَنًا إِلَّا بِالِانْتِقَامِ لَكَ، وَ أَوْجِدْنِيْ بَرْدَ عَفْوِكَ
wa lā mumtahanan illā bilintiqāmi lak, wa awjidnī bar-da `afwik
Let me taste the coolness of Your pardon, and let me experience the sweetness of Your mercy, Your repose, Your ease, and the garden of Your bliss
371
وَ حَلَاوَةَ رَحْمَتِكَ وَ رَوْحِكَ وَ رَيْحَانِكَ وَ جَنَّةِ نَعِيمِكَ
wa ḥalāwata raḥmatika wa rawḥika wa rayḥānika wa jannati na`īmik
Let me taste the flavor of being free for what You love, with ample opportunity for what pleases You
372
وَ أَذِقْنِيْ طَعْمَ الْفَرَاغِ لِمَا تُحِبُّ بِسَعَةٍ مِنْ سَعَتِكَ
wa adhiqnī ṭa`mal farāghi limā tuḥibbu bisa`atin min sa`atik
And striving in what brings me near to You and to You
373
وَ الِاجْتِهَادِ فِيمَا يُزْلِفُ لَدَيْكَ وَ عِنْدَكَ
wal ijtihādi fīmā yuzlifu ladayka wa `indak
And gift me with one of Your gifts
374
وَ أَتْحِفْنِيْ بِتُحْفَةٍ مِنْ تُحَفَاتِكَ
wa at-ḥifnī bituḥfatin min tuḥafātik
Make my commerce profitable and my return without loss
375
وَ اجْعَلْ تِجَارَتِيْ رَابِحَةً وَ كَرَّتِيْ غَيْرَ خَاسِرَةٍ
waj`al tijāratī rābiḥatan wa karratī ghayra khāsirah
Fill me with fear of Your position and longing for Your meeting
376
وَ أَخِفْنِيْ مَقَامَكَ وَ شَوِّقْنِيْ لِقَاءَكَ
wa akhifnī maqāmaka wa shawwiqnī liqā-ak
Allow me to repent with a sincere repentance that leaves no sins, small or great
377
وَ تُبْ عَلَيَّ تَوْبَةً نَصُوحًا لَا تُبْقِ مَعَهَا ذُنُوبًا صَغِيرَةً وَ لَا كَبِيرَةً
wa tub `alayya tawbatan naṣūḥan lā tubqi ma`ahā dhunūban ṣaghīratan wa lā kabīrah
And leaves behind no apparent or secret offense
378
وَ لَا تَذَرْ مَعَهَا عَلَانِيَةً وَ لَا سَرِيرَةً
wa lā tadhar ma`ahā `alāniyatan wa lā sarīrah
Remove rancor toward the believers from my chest
379
وَ انْزَعِ الْغِلَّ مِنْ صَدْرِيْ لِلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
wanza`il ghilla min ṣadrī lilmu-minīn
Make my heart tender toward the humble
380
وَ اعْطِفْ بِقَلْبِيْ عَلَى الْخَاشِعِينَ
wa`ṭif biqalbī `alal khāshi`īn
Be for me as You are for the righteous
381
وَ كُنْ لِيْ كَمَا تَكُونُ لِلصَّالِحِيْنَ
wa kun lī kamā takūnu liṣṣāliḥīn
Adorn me with the adornment of the pious
382
وَ حَلِّنِيْ حِلْيَةَ الْمُتَّقِينَ
wa ḥallinī ḥilyatal muttaqīn
Appoint for me a goodly report among those yet to come
383
وَ اجْعَلْ لِيْ لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِيْ الْغَابِرِينَ
waj`al lī lisāna ṣidqin fil ghābirīn
And a growing remembrance among the later folk, and take me to the plain of those who came first
384
وَ ذِكْرًا نَامِيًا فِيْ الْآخِرِينَ، وَ وَافِ بِيْ عَرْصَةَ الْأَوَّلِينَ
wa dhikran nāmiyan fil-ākhirīn, wa wāfi bī `ar-ṣatal awwalīn
Complete the lavishness of Your blessing upon me, and make its honors descend upon me
385
وَ تَمِّمْ سُبُوغَ نِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَ ظَاهِرْ كَرَامَاتِهَا لَدَيَّ
wa tammim subūgha ni`matika `alayy, wa ẓāhir karāmātihā ladayy
Fill my hand with Your benefits, and drive the noblest of Your gifts to me
386
اِمْلَأْ مِنْ فَوَائِدِكَ يَدِيْ، وَ سُقْ كَرَائِمَ مَوَاهِبِكَ إِلَيَّ
imla-min fawā-idika yadī, wa suq karā-ima mawāhibika ilayy
Make me the neighbor of the best of Your friends
387
وَ جَاوِرْ بِيَ الْأَطْيَبِينَ مِنْ أَوْلِيَائِكَ
wa jāwir biyal aṭyabīna min awliyā-ik
In the Gardens which You have adorned for Your chosen
388
فِيْ الْجِنَانِ الَّتِيْ زَيَّنْتَهَا لِأَصْفِيَائِكَ
fil jinānil latī zayyantahā li-aṣfiyā-ik
Clothe me in Your noble gifts in the stations prepared for Your beloved
389
وَ جَلِّلْنِيْ شَرَائِفَ نِحَلِكَ فِيْ الْمَقَامَاتِ الْمُعَدَّةِ لِأَحِبَّائِكَ
wa jallinī sharā-ifa niḥalika fil maqāmātil mu`addati li-aḥibbā-ik
Appoint for me a resting place with You where I can seek refuge serenely
390
وَ اجْعَلْ لِيْ عِنْدَكَ مَقِيلًا آوِيْ إِلَيْهِ مُطْمَئِنًّا
waj`al lī `indaka maqīlan-āwī ilayhi muṭma-innā
And a resort to which I can return and rest contentedly
391
وَ مَثَابَةً أَتَبَوَّؤُهَا وَ أَقَرُّ عَيْنًا
wa mathābatan atabawwa-uhā wa aqarru `aynā
Do not compare me with the great sins
392
وَ لَا تُقَايِسْنِيْ بِعَظِيمَاتِ الْجَرَائِرِ
wa lā tuqāyisnī bi`aẓīmātil jarā-ir
And do not destroy me on the day when secrets are tested
393
وَ لَا تُهْلِكْنِيْ يَوْمَ تُبْلَى السَّرَائِرُ
wa lā tuhliknī yawma tublas sarā-ir
Remove from me every doubt and uncertainty
394
وَ أَزِلْ عَنِّيْ كُلَّ شَكٍّ وَ شُبْهَةٍ
wa azil `annī kulla shakkin wa shubhah
And make for me a path to the truth from every mercy
395
وَ اجْعَلْ لِيْ فِيْ الْحَقِّ طَرِيقًا مِنْ كُلِّ رَحْمَةٍ
waj`al lī fil ḥaqqi ṭarīqan min kulli raḥmah
Make plentiful for me the portions of gifts from Your granting
396
وَ أَجْزِلْ لِيْ قِسَمَ الْمَوَاهِبِ مِنْ نَوَالِكَ
wa ajzil lī qisamal mawāhibi min nawālik
And fulfill for me the shares of beneficence from Your bestowal
397
وَ وَفِّرْ عَلَيَّ حُظُوظَ الْإِحْسَانِ مِنْ إِفْضَالِكَ
wa waffir `alayya ḥuẓūẓal iḥsāni min ifḍālik
Make my heart confident in what is with You
398
وَ اجْعَلْ قَلْبِيْ وَاثِقًا بِمَا عِنْدَكَ
waj`al qalbī wāthiqan bimā `indak
And my concern devoted to what is Yours
399
وَ هَمِّيْ مُسْتَفْرَغًا لِمَا هُوَ لَكَ
wa hammī mustafraghan limā huwa lak
Employ me in that which You employ Your pure ones
400
وَ اسْتَعْمِلْنِيْ بِمَا تَسْتَعْمِلُ بِهِ خَالِصَتَكَ
wasta`milnī bimā tasta`milu bihi khāliṣatak
Steep my heart in Your obedience when intellects are bewildered
401
وَ أَشْرِبْ قَلْبِيْ عِنْدَ ذُهُولِ الْعُقُولِ طَاعَتَكَ
wa ashrib qalbī `inda dhuhūlil `uqūli ṭā`atak
Combine for me wealth, chastity, ease, well-being
402
وَ اجْمَعْ لِيَ الْغِنَى وَ الْعَفَافَ وَ الدَّعَةَ وَ الْمُعَافَاةَ
wajma` liyal ghinā wal `afāfa wad da`ata wal mu`āfāh
Health, plenty, tranquility, and security
403
وَ الصِّحَّةَ وَ السَّعَةَ وَ الطُّمَأْنِيْنَةَ وَ الْعَافِيَةَ
waṣ ṣiḥḥata was sa`ata waṭ ṭuma-nīnata wal `āfiyah
Do not nullify my good deeds by what comes into them from Your disobedience
404
وَ لَا تُحْبِطْ حَسَنَاتِيْ بِمَا يَشُوبُهَا مِنْ مَعْصِيَتِكَ
wa lā tuḥbiṭ ḥasanātī bimā yashūbuhā min ma`ṣiyatik
Nor my privacy by the intrusion of the trials You cause
405
وَ لَا خَلَوَاتِيْ بِمَا يَعْرِضُ لِيْ مِنْ نَزَغَاتِ فِتْنَتِكَ
wa lā khalawātī bimā ya`riḍu lī min nazaghāti fitnatik
Safeguard my face from seeking help from anyone in the worlds
406
وَ صُنْ وَجْهِيْ عَنِ الطَّلَبِ إِلَى أَحَدٍ مِنَ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
wa ṣun wajhī `aniṭ ṭalabi ilā aḥadin minal `ālamīn
Drive me away from seeking assistance from the ungodly
407
وَ ذُبَّنِيْ عَنِ الْتِمَاسِ مَا عِنْدَ الْفَاسِقِينَ
wa dhubbanī `anil timāsi mā `indal fāsiqīn
Do not make me a helper to the wrongdoers
408
وَ لَا تَجْعَلْنِيْ لِلظَّالِمِيْنَ ظَهِيرًا
wa lā taj`alnī liẓẓālimīna ẓahīrā
Nor their ally in erasing Your Book
409
وَ لَا لَهُمْ عَلَى مَحْوِ كِتَابِكَ يَدًا وَ نَصِيرًا
wa lā lahum `alā maḥwi kitābika yadan wa naṣīrā
Protect me in a way I do not know, with a protection that will preserve me
410
وَ حُطْنِيْ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا أَعْلَمُ حِيَاطَةً تَقِينِيْ بِهَا
wa ḥuṭnī min ḥaythu lā a`lamu ḥiyāṭatan taqīnī bihā
Open for me the gates of Your repentance, Your mercy, Your kindness, and Your plentiful provision
411
وَ افْتَحْ لِيْ أَبْوَابَ تَوْبَتِكَ وَ رَحْمَتِكَ وَ رَأْفَتِكَ وَ رِزْقِكَ الْوَاسِعِ
waftaḥ lī abwāba tawbatika wa raḥmatika wa ra-fatika wa rizqikal wāsi`
Surely I am one of those who desire You
412
إِنِّيْ إِلَيْكَ مِنَ الرَّاغِبِينَ
innī ilayka minar rāghibīn
Complete Your favor upon me, for You are the best of those who show favor
413
وَ أَتْمِمْ لِيْ إِنْعَامَكَ إِنَّكَ خَيْرُ الْمُنْعِمِيْنَ
wa atmim lī in`āmaka innaka khayrul mun`imīn
Make the rest of my life a pilgrimage and an umrah
414
وَ اجْعَلْ بَاقِيَ عُمْرِيْ فِيْ الْحَجِّ وَ الْعُمْرَةِ
waj`al bāqiya `umrī fil ḥajji wal `umrah
Seeking Your face, O Lord of the worlds
415
اِبْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِكَ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
ibtighā-a wajhika yā rabbal `ālamīn
And may Allah's blessings be upon Muhammad and his pure and immaculate family
416
وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ الطَّاهِرِينَ
wa ṣallallāhu `alā muḥammadin wa-ālihiṭ ṭayyibīnaṭ ṭāhirīn
And peace be upon him and upon them for all eternity
417
وَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْهِ وَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَبَدَ الْآبِدِيْنَ
was salāmu `alayhi wa `alayhim abadal-ābidīn
And peace be upon him and upon them forever and ever
