1
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَمِيْنَ اللَّهِ فِيْ أَرْضِهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā amīnallāhi fī ar-ḍih
Peace be upon you, O trusted one of Allah on His earth
2
وَحُجَّتَهُ عَلٰى عِبَادِهِ
waḥujjatahu `alā `ibādih
And His proof over His servants
3
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
as salāmu `alayka yā amīral mu-minīn
Peace be upon you, O Commander of the Faithful
4
أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ جَاهَدْتَ فِيْ اللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِ
ash-hadu annaka jāhadta fillāhi ḥaqqa jihādih
I bear witness that you strived in the way of Allah with true striving
5
وَعَمِلْتَ بِكِتَابِهِ
wa`amilta bikitābih
And you acted according to His Book
6
وَاتَّبَعْتَ سُنَنَ نَبِيِّهِ
wattaba`ta sunana nabiyyih
And you followed the traditions of His Prophet
7
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa ālih
May Allah's blessings be upon him and his family
8
حَتّىٰ دَعَاكَ اللَّهُ إِلٰى جِوَارِهِ
ḥattā da`ākallāhu ilā jiwārih
Until Allah called you to His presence
9
فَقَبَضَكَ إِلَيْهِ بِاخْتِيَارِهِ
faqabaḍaka ilayhi bikhtiyārih
And took you to Himself by His choice
10
وَأَلْزَمَ أَعْدَاءَكَ الْحُجَّةَ
wa-alzama a`dā-akal ḥujjah
And established the proof against your enemies
11
مَعَ مَا لَكَ مِنَ الْحُجَجِ الْبَالِغَةِ عَلٰى جَمِيْعِ خَلْقِهِ
ma`a mā laka minal ḥujajil bālighati `alā jamī`i khalqih
Along with the conclusive proofs you have over all His creation
12
اَللّٰهُمَّ فَاجْعَلْ نَفْسِيْ مُطْمَئِنَّةً بِقَدَرِكَ
allāhumma faj`al nafsī muṭma-innatan biqadarik
O Allah, make my soul content with Your decree
13
رَاضِيَةً بِقَضَائِكَ
rāḍiyatan biqaḍā-ik
Pleased with Your judgment
14
مُولَعَةً بِذِكْرِكَ وَدُعَائِكَ
mūla`atan bidhikrika wadu`ā-ik
Fond of Your remembrance and supplication
15
مُحِبَّةً لِصَفْوَةِ أَوْلِيَائِكَ
muḥibbatan liṣafwati awliyā-ik
Loving to the chosen ones among Your friends
16
مَحْبُوبَةً فِيْ أَرْضِكَ وَسَمَائِكَ
maḥbūbatan fī ar-ḍika wasamā-ik
Beloved in Your earth and heaven
17
صَابِرَةً عَلٰى نُزُولِ بَلائِكَ
ṣābiratan `alā nuzūli balā-ik
Patient upon the descent of Your trials
18
شَاكِرَةً لِفَوَاضِلِ نَعْمَائِكَ
shākiratan lifawāḍili na`mā-ik
Thankful for the abundance of Your blessings
19
ذَاكِرَةً لِسَوَابِغِ آلاَئِكَ
dhākiratan lisawābighi-ālā-ik
Mindful of the completeness of Your bounties
20
مُشْتَاقَةً إِلٰى فَرْحَةِ لِقَائِكَ
mushtāqatan ilā far-ḥati liqā-ik
Yearning for the joy of meeting You
21
مُتَزَوِّدَةً التَّقْوٰى لِيَوْمِ جَزَائِكَ
mutazawwidatanit taqwā liyawmi jazā-ik
Taking piety as provision for the day of Your reward
22
مُسْتَنَّةً بِسُنَنِ أَوْلِيَائِكَ
mustannatan bisunani awliyā-ik
Following the traditions of Your friends
23
مُفَارِقَةً لِأَخْلاَقِ أَعْدَائِكَ
mufāriqatan li-akhlāqi a`dā-ik
Departing from the character of Your enemies
24
مَشْغُولَةً عَنِ الدُّنْيَا بِحَمْدِكَ وَثَنَائِكَ
mashghūlatan `anid dunyā biḥamdika wathanā-ik
Distracted from this world by Your praise and glorification
25
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنَّ قُلُوبَ الْمُخْبِتِينَ إِلَيْكَ وَالِهَةٌ
allāhumma inna qulūbal mukhbitīna ilayka wālihah
O Allah, indeed the hearts of the humble ones are devoted to You
26
وَسُبُلَ الرَّاغِبِينَ إِلَيْكَ شَارِعَةٌ
wasubular rāghibīna ilayka shāri`ah
And the paths of those who desire You are open
27
وَأَعْلاَمَ الْقَاصِدِيْنَ إِلَيْكَ وَاضِحَةٌ
wa-a`lāmal qāṣidīna ilayka wāḍiḥah
And the signs for those who seek You are clear
28
وَأَفْئِدَةَ الْعَارِفِينَ مِنْكَ فَازِعَةٌ
wa-af-idatal `ārifīna minka fāzi`ah
And the hearts of those who know You are in awe
29
وَأَصْوَاتَ الدَّاعِينَ إِلَيْكَ صَاعِدَةٌ
wa-aṣwātad dā`īna ilayka ṣā`idah
And the voices of those who call upon You ascend
30
وَأَبْوَابَ الْإِجَابَةِ لَهُمْ مُفَتَّحَةٌ
wa-abwābal ijābati lahum mufattaḥah
And the doors of response are opened for them
31
وَدَعْوَةَ مَنْ نَاجَاكَ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ
wada`wata man nājāka mustajābah
And the prayer of one who whispers to You is answered
32
وَتَوْبَةَ مَنْ أَنَابَ إِلَيْكَ مَقْبُولَةٌ
watawbata man anāba ilayka maqbūlah
And the repentance of one who turns to You is accepted
33
وَعَبْرَةَ مَنْ بَكَىٰ مِنْ خَوْفِكَ مَرْحُومَةٌ
wa`abrata man bakā min khawfika mar-ḥūmah
And the tear of one who weeps out of fear of You is shown mercy
34
وَالْإِغَاثَةَ لِمَنِ اسْتَغَاثَ بِكَ مَوْجُودَةٌ
wal-ighāthata limanistaghātha bika mawjūdah
And help for one who seeks Your aid is available
35
وَالْإِعَانَةَ لِمَنِ اسْتَعَانَ بِكَ مَبْذُولَةٌ
wal-i`ānata limanista`āna bika mabdhūlah
And assistance for one who seeks Your support is granted
36
وَعِدَاتِكَ لِعِبَادِكَ مُنْجَزَةٌ
wa`idātika li`ibādika munjazah
And Your promises to Your servants are fulfilled
37
وَزَلَلَ مَنِ اسْتَقَالَكَ مُقَالَةٌ
wazalala manistaqālaka muqālah
And the slip of one who seeks Your pardon is forgiven
38
وَأَعْمَالَ الْعَامِلِينَ لَدَيْكَ مَحْفُوظَةٌ
wa-a`mālal `āmilīna ladayka maḥfūẓah
And the deeds of those who work for You are preserved
39
وَأَرْزَاقَكَ إِلَى الْخَلائِقِ مِنْ لَدُنْكَ نَازِلَةٌ
wa-ar-zāqaka ilal khalā-iqi min ladunka nāzilah
And Your provisions descend from You to the creation
40
وَعَوَائِدَ الْمَزِيدِ إِلَيْهِمْ وَاصِلَةٌ
wa`awā-idal mazīdi ilayhim wāṣilah
And the benefits of increase reach them
41
وَذُنُوبَ الْمُسْتَغْفِرِينَ مَغْفُورَةٌ
wadhunūbal mustaghfirīna maghfūrah
And the sins of those who seek forgiveness are pardoned
42
وَحَوَائِجَ خَلْقِكَ عِنْدَكَ مَقْضِيَّةٌ
waḥawā-ija khalqika `indaka maqḍiyyah
And the needs of Your creation are fulfilled by You
43
وَجَوَائِزَ السَّائِلِينَ عِنْدَكَ مُوَفَّرَةٌ
wajawā-izas sā-ilīna `indaka muwaffarah
And the rewards of those who ask are abundant with You
44
وَعَوَائِدَ الْمَزِيدِ مُتَوَاتِرَةٌ
wa`awā-idal mazīdi mutawātirah
And the benefits of increase are continuous
45
وَمَوَائِدَ الْمُسْتَطْعِمِيْنَ مُعَدَّةٌ
wamawā-idal mustaṭ`imīna mu`addah
And the tables for those who seek food are prepared
46
وَمَنَاهِلَ الظِّمَاءِ مُتْرَعَةٌ
wamanāhilaẓ ẓimā-i mutra`ah
And the watering places for the thirsty are filled
47
اَللّٰهُمَّ فَاسْتَجِبْ دُعَائِي
allāhumma fastajib du`ā-ī
O Allah, accept my supplication
48
وَاقْبَلْ ثَنَائِي
waqbal thanā-ī
And accept my praise
49
وَاجْمَعْ بَيْنِيْ وَبَيْنَ أَوْلِيَائِي
wajma` baynī wabayna awliyā-ī
And unite me with my friends
50
بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلِيٍّ
biḥaqqi muḥammadin wa`aliyy
By the right of Muhammad and Ali
51
وَفَاطِمَةَ وَالْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ
wafāṭimata walḥasani walḥusayn
And Fatima and Hassan and Hussein
52
إِنَّكَ وَلِيُّ نَعْمَائِي
innaka waliyyu na`mā-ī
Indeed, You are the Guardian of my blessings
53
وَمُنْتَهَىٰ مُنَايَ
wamuntahā munāy
And the ultimate goal of my wishes
54
وَغَايَةُ رَجَائِيْ فِيْ مُنْقَلَبِيْ وَمَثْوَايَ
waghāyatu rajā-ī fī munqalabī wamathwāy
And the end of my hope in my return and my abode
In the book of Kamil al-Ziyarat, the following statements are added to this form of Ziyarah:
55
أَنْتَ إِلٰهِيْ وَسَيِّدِيْ وَمَوْلَايَ
anta ilāhī wasayyidī wamawlāy
You are my God, my Master, and my Lord
56
اِغْفِرْ لِأَوْلِيَائِنَا
ighfir li-awliyā-inā
Forgive our friends
57
وَكُفَّ عَنَّا أَعْدَاءَنَا
wakuffa `annā a`dā-anā
And restrain our enemies from us
58
وَاشْغَلْهُمْ عَنْ أَذَانَا
washghalhum `an adhānā
And distract them from harming us
59
وَأَظْهِرْ كَلِمَةَ الْحَقِّ
wa-aẓhir kalimatal ḥaqq
And make manifest the word of truth
60
وَاجْعَلْهَا الْعُلْيَا
waj`alhal `ulyā
And make it supreme
61
وَأَدْحِضْ كَلِمَةَ الْبَاطِلِ
wa-ad-ḥiḍ kalimatal bāṭil
And nullify the word of falsehood
62
وَاجْعَلْهَا السُّفْلىٰ
waj`alhas suflā
And make it the lowest
63
إِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
innaka `alā kulli shay-in qadīr
Indeed, You have power over all things
