بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْئَلُكَ الْاَمَانَ يَوْمَ لَا يَنْفَعُ مَالٌ وَلابَنُوْنَ
allāhumma innī as-alukal amāna yawma lā yanfa`u mālun walābanūn
O Allah, I ask You for security on the Day when neither wealth nor children will benefit
2
إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى اللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيْمٍ
illā man atallāha biqalbin salīm
Except for one who comes to Allah with a sound heart
3
وَأَسْئَلُكَ الْاَمَانَ يَوْمَ يَعَضُّ الظَّالِمُ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ
wa-as-alukal amāna yawma ya`aḍḍuẓ ẓālimu `alā yadayh
And I ask You for security on the Day when the wrongdoer will bite his hands

يَقُوْلُ يَا لَيْتَنِيْ اتَّخَذْتُ مَعَ الرَّسُوْلِ سَبِيْلًا
yaqūlu yā laytanittakhadhtu ma`ar rasūli sabīlā
Saying, "Oh, I wish I had taken with the Messenger a way"
5
وَأَسْئَلُكَ الْاَمَانَ يَوْمَ يُعْرَفُ الْمُجْرِمُوْنَ بِسِيْمَاهُمْ
wa-as-alukal amāna yawma yu`raful mujrimūna bisīmāhum
And I ask You for security on the Day when the criminals will be known by their marks
6
فَيُؤْخَذُ بِالنَّوَاصِيْ وَالْاَقْدَامِ
fayu-khadhu binnawāṣī wal-aqdām
And they will be seized by their forelocks and feet
7
وَأَسْئَلُكَ الْاَمَانَ يَوْمَ لَا يَجْزِيْ وَالِدٌ عَنْ وَلَدِهِ
wa-as-alukal amāna yawma lā yajzī wālidun `an waladih
And I ask You for security on the Day when no father will avail his son
8
وَلَا مَوْلُوْدٌ هُوَ جَازٍ عَنْ وَالِدِهِ شَيْئًا
walā mawlūdun huwa jāzin `an wālidihi shay-ā
Nor will a son avail his father at all
9
إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ
inna wa`dallāhi ḥaqq
Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth
10
وَأَسْئَلُكَ الْاَمَانَ يَوْمَ لَا يَنْفَعُ الظَّالِمِيْنَ مَعْذِرَتُهُمْ
wa-as-alukal amāna yawma lā yanfa`uẓ ẓālimīna ma`dhiratuhum
And I ask You for security on the Day when the excuses of the wrongdoers will not benefit them
11
وَلَهُمُ اللَّعْنَةُ وَلَهُمْ سُوْءُ الدَّارِ
walahumul la`natu walahum sū-ud dār
And they will have the curse and the worst home
12
وَأَسْئَلُكَ الْاَمَانَ يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِنَفْسٍ شَيْئًا
wa-as-alukal amāna yawma lā tamliku nafsun linafsin shay-ā
And I ask You for security on the Day when no soul will possess anything for another soul
13
وَالْاَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلَّهِ
wal-amru yawma-idhin lillāh
And the command, that Day, is with Allah
14
وَأَسْئَلُكَ الْاَمَانَ يَوْمَ يَفِرُّ الْمَرْءُ مِنْ أَخِيْهِ
wa-as-alukal amāna yawma yafirrul mar-u min akhīh
And I ask You for security on the Day when a man will flee from his brother
15
وَأُمِّهِ وَأَبِيْهِ وَصَاحِبَتِهِ وَبَنِيْهِ
wa-ummihi wa-abīhi waṣāḥibatihi wabanīh
And his mother and his father, and his wife and his children
16
لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مِنْهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ شَأْنٌ يُغْنِيْهِ
likullimri-in minhum yawma-idhin sha-nun yughnīh
Every person, that Day, will have enough concern to make him indifferent to others
17
وَأَسْئَلُكَ الْاَمَانَ يَوْمَ يَوَدُّ الْمُجْرِمُ لَوْ يَفْتَدِيْ مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِبَنِيْهِ
wa-as-alukal amāna yawma yawaddul mujrimu law yaftadī min `adhābi yawma-idhin bibanīh
And I ask You for security on the Day when the criminal will wish he could be ransomed from the punishment of that Day by his children
18
وَصَاحِبَتِهِ وَأَخِيْهِ وَفَصِيْلَتِهِ الَّتِيْ تُؤْوِيْهِ
waṣāḥibatihi wa-akhīhi wafaṣīlatihil latī tu-wīh
And his wife and his brother and his nearest kindred who shelter him
19
وَمَنْ فِيْ الْاَرْضِ جَمِيْعًا ثُمَّ يُنْجِيْهِ
waman fil ar-ḍi jamī`an thumma yunjīh
And whoever is on earth entirely, then it could save him
20
كَلَّا إِنَّهَا لَظَى نَزَّاعَةً لِلشَّوَى
kallā innahā laẓā nazzā`atan lishhawā
No! Indeed, it is the Flame, a remover of the skin of the head
21
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
22
أَنْتَ الْمَوْلَى وَأَنَا الْعَبْدُ
antal mawlā wa-anal `abd
You are the Master and I am the servant
23
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْعَبْدَ إِلَّا المَوْلَى
wahal yar-ḥamul `abda illal mawlā
And who can have mercy on the servant except the Master?
24
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
25
أَنْتَ الْمَالِكُ وَأَنَا الْمَمْلُوْكُ
antal māliku wa-anal mamlūk
You are the Owner and I am the owned
26
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْمَمْلُوْكَ إِلَّا المَالِكُ
wahal yar-ḥamul mamlūka illal mālik
And who can have mercy on the owned except the Owner?
27
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
28
أَنْتَ الْعَزِيْزُ وَأَنَا الذَّلِيْلُ
antal `azīzu wa-anadh dhalīl
You are the Mighty and I am the humble
29
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الذَّلِيْلَ إِلَّا العَزِيْزُ
wahal yar-ḥamudh dhalīla illal `azīz
And who can have mercy on the humble except the Mighty?
30
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
31
أَنْتَ الْخَالِقُ وَأَنَا الْمَخْلُوْقُ
antal khāliqu wa-anal makhlūq
You are the Creator and I am the created
32
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ المَخْلُوْقَ إِلَّا الخَالِقُ
wahal yar-ḥamul makhlūqa illal khāliq
And who can have mercy on the created except the Creator?
33
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
34
أَنْتَ الْعَظِيْمُ وَأَنَا الْحَقِيْرُ
antal `aẓīmu wa-anal ḥaqīr
You are the Great and I am the insignificant
35
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْحَقِيْرَ إِلَّا العَظِيْمُ
wahal yar-ḥamul ḥaqīra illal `aẓīm
And who can have mercy on the insignificant except the Great?
36
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
37
أَنْتَ الْقَوِيُّ وَأَنَا الضَّعِيْفُ
antal qawiyyu wa-anaḍ ḍa`īf
You are the Strong and I am the weak
38
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الضَّعِيْفَ إِلَّا القَوِيُّ
wahal yar-ḥamuḍ ḍa`īfa illal qawiyy
And who can have mercy on the weak except the Strong?
39
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
40
أَنْتَ الْغَنِيُّ وَأَنَا الْفَقِيْرُ
antal ghaniyyu wa-anal faqīr
You are the Rich and I am the poor
41
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْفَقِيْرَ إِلَّا الغَنِيُّ
wahal yar-ḥamul faqīra illal ghaniyy
And who can have mercy on the poor except the Rich?
42
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
43
أَنْتَ الْمُعْطِيْ وَأَنَا السَّائِلُ
antal mu`ṭī wa-anas sā-il
You are the Giver and I am the beggar
44
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ السَّائِلَ إِلَّا المُعْطِي
wahal yar-ḥamus sā-ila illal mu`ṭī
And who can have mercy on the beggar except the Giver?
45
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
46
أَنْتَ الْحَيُّ وَأَنَا الْمَيِّتُ
antal ḥayyu wa-anal mayyit
You are the Living and I am the dead
47
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْمَيِّتَ إِلَّا الحَيُّ
wahal yar-ḥamul mayyita illal ḥayy
And who can have mercy on the dead except the Living?
48
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
49
أَنْتَ الْبَاقِيْ وَأَنَا الْفَانِي
antal bāqī wa-anal fānī
You are the Eternal and I am the perishing
50
وَ هَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْفَانِيَ إِلَّا البَاقِي
wa hal yar-ḥamul fāniya illal bāqī
And who can have mercy on the perishing except the Eternal?
51
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
52
أَنْتَ الدَّائِمُ وَأَنَا الزَّائِلُ
antad dā-imu wa-anaz zā-il
You are the Everlasting and I am the fleeting
53
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الزَّائِلَ إِلَّا الدَّائِمُ
wahal yar-ḥamuz zā-ila illad dā-im
And who can have mercy on the fleeting except the Everlasting?
54
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
55
أَنْتَ الرَّازِقُ وَأَنَا الْمَرْزُوْقُ
antar rāziqu wa-anal mar-zūq
You are the Provider and I am the provided for
56
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْمَرْزُوْقَ إِلَّا الرَّازِقُ
wahal yar-ḥamul mar-zūqa illar rāziq
And who can have mercy on the provided for except the Provider?
57
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
58
أَنْتَ الْجَوَادُ وَأَنَا الْبَخِيْلُ
antal jawādu wa-anal bakhīl
You are the Generous and I am the miserly
59
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْبَخِيْلَ إِلَّا الجَوَادُ
wahal yar-ḥamul bakhīla illal jawād
And who can have mercy on the miserly except the Generous?
60
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
61
أَنْتَ الْمُعَافِيْ وَأَنَا الْمُبْتَلَى
antal mu`āfī wa-anal mubtalā
You are the One who grants health and I am the afflicted
62
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْمُبْتَلَى إِلَّا المُعَافِي
wahal yar-ḥamul mubtalā illal mu`āfī
And who can have mercy on the afflicted except the One who grants health?
63
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
64
أَنْتَ الْكَبِيْرُ وَأَنَا الصَّغِيْرُ
antal kabīru wa-anaṣ ṣaghīr
You are the Great and I am the small
65
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الصَّغِيْرَ إِلَّا الكَبِيْرُ
wahal yar-ḥamuṣ ṣaghīra illal kabīr
And who can have mercy on the small except the Great?
66
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
67
أَنْتَ الْهَادِيْ وَأَنَا الضَّالُّ
antal hādī wa-anaḍ ḍāll
You are the Guide and I am the astray
68
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الضَّالَّ إِلَّا الهَادِي
wahal yar-ḥamuḍ ḍālla illal hādī
And who can have mercy on the astray except the Guide?
69
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
70
أَنْتَ الرَّحْمٰنُ وَأَنَا الْمَرْحُوْمُ
antar raḥmānu wa-anal mar-ḥūm
You are the Merciful and I am the one in need of mercy
71
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْمَرْحُوْمَ إِلَّا الرَّحْمٰنُ
wahal yar-ḥamul mar-ḥūma illar raḥmān
And who can have mercy on the one in need of mercy except the Merciful?
72
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
73
أَنْتَ السُّلْطَانُ وَأَنَا الْمُمْتَحَنُ
antas sulṭānu wa-anal mumtaḥan
You are the Sovereign and I am the tested one
74
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْمُمْتَحَنَ إِلَّا السُّلْطَانُ
wahal yar-ḥamul mumtaḥana illas sulṭān
And who can have mercy on the tested one except the Sovereign?
75
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
76
أَنْتَ الدَّلِيْلُ وَأَنَا الْمُتَحَيِّرُ
antad dalīlu wa-anal mutaḥayyir
You are the Guide and I am the confused
77
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْمُتَحَيِّرَ إِلَّا الدَّلِيْلُ
wahal yar-ḥamul mutaḥayyira illad dalīl
And who can have mercy on the confused except the Guide?
78
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
79
أَنْتَ الْغَفُوْرُ وَأَنَا الْمُذْنِبُ
antal ghafūru wa-anal mudhnib
You are the Forgiving and I am the sinner
80
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْمُذْنِبَ إِلَّا الغَفُوْرُ
wahal yar-ḥamul mudhniba illal ghafūr
And who can have mercy on the sinner except the Forgiving?
81
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
82
أَنْتَ الْغَالِبُ وَأَنَا الْمَغْلُوْبُ
antal ghālibu wa-anal maghlūb
You are the Victorious and I am the defeated
83
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْمَغْلُوْبَ إِلَّا الغَالِبُ
wahal yar-ḥamul maghlūba illal ghālib
And who can have mercy on the defeated except the Victorious?
84
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
85
أَنْتَ الرَّبُّ وَأَنَا الْمَرْبُوبُ
antar rabbu wa-anal mar-būb
You are the Lord and I am the subject
86
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْمَرْبُوبَ إِلَّا الرَّبُّ
wahal yar-ḥamul mar-būba illar rabb
And who can have mercy on the subject except the Lord?
87
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
88
أَنْتَ الْمُتَكَبِّرُ وَأَنَا الْخَاشِعُ
antal mutakabbiru wa-anal khāshi`
You are the Majestic and I am the submissive
89
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْخَاشِعَ إِلَّا المُتَكَبِّرُ
wahal yar-ḥamul khāshi`a illal mutakabbir
And who can have mercy on the submissive except the Majestic?
90
مَوْلَايَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
mawlāya yā mawlāy
My Master, O my Master
91
اِرْحَمْنِيْ بِرَحْمَتِكَ
ir-ḥamnī biraḥmatik
Have mercy on me through Your mercy
92
وَارْضَ عَنِّيْ بِجُوْدِكَ وَكَرَمِكَ وَفَضْلِكَ
war-ḍa `annī bijūdika wakaramika wafaḍlik
And be pleased with me through Your generosity, kindness, and grace
93
يَا ذَا الْجُوْدِ وَالْاِحْسَانِ
yā dhal jūdi wal-iḥsān
O Possessor of generosity and benevolence
94
وَالطَّوْلِ وَالْاِمْتِنَانِ
waṭ ṭawli wal-imtinān
Power and favor
95
بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
biraḥmatika yā ar-ḥamar rāḥimīn
By Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful
